Beautiful house with gorgeous views. We came to Auburn for a family reunion with our adult children and elderly mom. Lots of room for us to spread out. Backyard is very peaceful.

I love this place so much! This was my second little retreat here this season. Always clean, comfy, and beautiful, and a wonderful place to relax. Asha is a lovely host—very helpful, responsive, and considerate. When there was a minor issue with one of the appliances, she got it fixed right away. I’m sure I’ll be back!

We had such a wonderful stay at Clare's home. The hosue is comfortable and the pool was perfect for beating the summer heat! The door to the pool is off the family rooom area but it is easily closable for keeping young kids away from teh pool if needed. The house is tastefully decorated with some homey additions like books and toys. We found it difficult to choose where to sit-- outside on the front porch or our by the pool lounge area. Although the house is not close enough to town to walk the location is very central and wooded. The view out the back is really wonderful. This is a great place for a family or anyone looking for an authentic Nevada City stay. Highly recommend!

Great location, close to downtown NC but also very peaceful in the woods. Spacious home with high ceiling and good amenities, including pool and jacuzzi. The only downside is the living room was pretty dark and no bright light for reading at night.

We had the most wonderful time in Marilyn and David's gorgeous home. The home is very large and accommodated our large group perfectly with plenty of large gathering spaces and private areas as well. The pool and hot tub are awesome. It even has a phonograph which was awesome and we enjoyed and danced to!! The entire property has a panoramic view of the foothills and is breathtaking and perfect for star gazing. Highly recommend!! Thanks so much for everything!!! The Wheelers

Absolutely perfect place for our stay. From spacious rooms to the outstanding views. Kitchen was well equipped and lovely. The main floor was easily accessible from the side door on the driveway side. Loved all the eclectic decorative touches.

We had a wonderful stay. The pool and hot tub were amazing. There was plenty of room for all of us. The pots and pans were a really nice brand.

The house and locaion were beautiful and we felt very comfortable from the minute we arrived.

We enjoyed the stay—it was spotless and very peaceful! The checkout process was very thorough. Just make sure you read the instructions thoroughly, that way you won't get charged! Overall, it was a great stay!

Beautiful place, clean, fun decor, super clean, super cozy!

this home is truly an escape. the minimalist and modern decor feel soothing and peaceful. we loved waking up with the sunlight filtering through the beautiful trees surrounding the home. we appreciated how clean and welcoming the place felt. we were just traveling through and didn't get to explore the area but just enjoying the restful home makes us want to go back.

Jess’ place was both incredibly well designed and cozy at the same time. It was immaculately clean, had a well stocked kitchen and was a perfect distance to the main drag in town. In addition, Jess was the most responsive and flexible host - answering all our many questions and asks for local recommendations (we were staying with a big family and kids over Christmas). Would 100% stay here again!

Vicky's place was awesome, perfect for a family and friends weekend. The kitchen is well stocked and we loved the huge dining table. Beds are comfortable and the couch was big enough for all of us to fit after a long day of skiing! The house is in beautiful, serene surrounding, with huge backyard. We will be back.

Great, spacious home in the forest. Immediately off highway 20 with a short drive to Nevada City. Tons of space in the bedrooms and common areas. Nice outdoors yard with lots of trees and shade.

I really enjoyed our stay here. It’s really close to town. The house is comfortable and we felt right at home. She has small things like makeup towels, sharp knives, and nice pots. I also really appreciate the quality and scents of the cleaning products and toiletries. It’s beautifully decorated and the yard is big enough for a dog or your children to run around. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Linda’s place is the perfect blend of an older Victorian feel and more modern kitchen, floors, A/C if needed. It’s incredibly peaceful with numerous sitting areas to read a book, enjoy a cup of coffee, have a chat about life, or indulge in a glass of wine and appetizers. Always something new on the expansive garden that you didn’t notice before. Just a wonderful little getaway…and friendly neighbors while out walking the neighborhood, which all just adds to a really special place. Thank you Linda and we hope to be back!!!!

Beautiful home, with chefs kitchen, pool table, and hot tub. Would definitely stay again!!!

This is our second time staying at this beautiful home. It’s so comfortable and cozy and has lots of great space for family to hang out, cooking meals, play games, and watch movies. I love being able to bring the dogs and it’s very well set up for that. We also found a lovely hike along the railroad track and threw an old graveyard into the little historic town of Dutch flat. That was really nice.

The house was lovely and well-appointed. it was a little tricky to find arriving after dark. It was also not easy to get from the driveway to the front door in the dark. The motion detector light doesn't stay on long enough to make it all the way. We found the accommodations comfortable and Lucy the cat was awesome. Quite the hostess! It was not noted in the listing, but it was communicated before we arrived that the house is shoes off. We were able to work with that but would have preferred it be called out in the home listing.

This was the perfect place for a group. We celebrated Christmas in the 4 bed 2 bath country home. We loved the fire pit and natural surroundings. Everything was spotless and high quality. Huge laundry room and most of the rooms are large. Oscar’s hospitality was excellent and we couldn’t be happier. A good value if you want to get away in the Northern California countryside.
