House vacation rentals in South Yuba River

We had such a great stay! The property was perfect for our family getaway—our kids especially loved the trampoline and the hot tub (they barely wanted to come inside!). Our Doberman, Lincoln, had the best time playing fetch in the large open space—it was such a treat to find a spot that’s truly dog-friendly. Melissa was a delightful host—super responsive and thoughtful. She even set up a fun scavenger hunt for the kids to find hidden gnomes around the property, which they absolutely loved. It’s little touches like that that made our stay really special. We’d love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Andy was super easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The home is perfectly situated with easy access to snowboarding and the Bay Area. We hope to stay there again!

This is a truly special place. The house is wonderful—beautifully designed and decorated and extremely comfortable. But the outdoor space makes it really amazing. It is a great place to relax, great for grilling, and surrounded by beautiful trees, birds, with lots of room for our little one to play. Clare is incredibly responsive and friendly. We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to come back again some time.

Dan and Laura were very kind and responded quickly and honestly to all the questions we had leading up to our trip as well as during our trip. The house was beautiful. It worked perfectly for our group of 12 adults. We really appreciated the convenience of multiple bathrooms. My guests enjoyed the beautiful open kitchen, the large size tv in the living room, the downstairs entertainment room, and the hot tub the most. Thank you so much for being wonderful hosts! It made my milestone birthday that much more special.(:

What a great experience and relaxing location. The home is beautiful, clean, well cared for and stocked with nicer than usual amenities. But the back yard steals the show. Set in amongst the trees is a luxurious home in-ground pool and hot tub with beautiful landscape, pool deck and back patio with table. Just up from town, location can't be beat!

We had the most wonderful time in Marilyn and David's gorgeous home. The home is very large and accommodated our large group perfectly with plenty of large gathering spaces and private areas as well. The pool and hot tub are awesome. It even has a phonograph which was awesome and we enjoyed and danced to!! The entire property has a panoramic view of the foothills and is breathtaking and perfect for star gazing. Highly recommend!! Thanks so much for everything!!! The Wheelers

Glad we chose this home for a girls’ weekend away. It was cozy, clean, and welcoming. Robin made sure we had everything that we needed. The pool was really refreshing after spending the day sightseeing. We loved that the house overlooks the lake. We sat out on the balcony with our cups of coffee in the morning watching the sun rise and glimmer on the placid water. We were back on the balcony in the evening with glasses of wine watching the sunset as the stillness of the night crept in. Three bedrooms with three bathrooms made this a pleasant stay for three women enjoying a getaway!

The house was perfect for our family and friends and a very close drive to a wedding we were attending. The space was beautiful, and had all the amenities for all ages: kid friendly and Grandma and Grandpa felt right at home.

Our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first! Cozy, well-stocked, lots of thoughtful touches throughout the house, and Cassundra is an amazing host. Highly recommended and can’t wait to be back!

Beautiful A frame cabin amongst the tall trees. Very clean cabin with crisp clean linens and cozy beds. A large patio with comfortable furniture and a grill made for relaxing time outdoors. Within walking distance to the lake in a safe neighborhood. Would highly recommend and would stay again at this cabin.

Peaceful surroundings only a couple of minutes drive to town where there's everything you could possibly need. The house is cosy with a large kitchen, and deck, overlooking the back yard where many birds visit and some deer and squirrels! The linens were of high quality and really helped for a good night's sleep. The gas pot belly fireplace was much appreciated when it snowed. Rachel is a lovely host who communicates effectively. She thoughtfully shared some wonderful local products that really made the stay special! :) I would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay here! Comfortable, clean and quiet home very close to town. And we appreciated the basket of snacks! I found the double bed comfortable and slept really well, but it was extremely soft so may not work for those who need firmer beds.

I was looking for an inspiring, relaxing and spacious place for my family to stay during our daughter's wedding weekend in Grass Valley. Leah's place was everything I hoped it would be, and easy to enjoy. Leah was great about communications. Five stars all the way.

Beds were all very comfortable and clean. House was fun and interesting and thematically decorated. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to prepare food in. We had a very short stay but it was perfect for our needs and we would most certainly do it again! Thank you!!!

John and Chel have a beautiful, quiet place in easy walking distance to the historic district of Grass Valley. Their place was clean, uncluttered, and nicely styled. It was easy to feel at home immediately. The place was well equipped with everything one would need for a week or more, including a full kitchen with everything needed to prepare full meals, nice linens and towels, and comfortable places to relax. The little deck on the back was the perfect sanctuary with a bubbling pond, a beautiful garden, and an enormous western red cedar above. John and Chel were both very kind in the few interactions we had. This is a great spot from which to launch on foot to the Strawberry Music Festival or a short drive to many amazing hikes on and around the South Yuba River Trail (Humbug Creek Trail to the South Yuba River was by far the best). Don't miss Thirsty Barrel, South Pine Cafe, and Diego's in Grass Valley (all in walking distance), and Petra and Stone House in Nevada City!

One of the best designed Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. Beautiful design, well equipped kitchen, lovely outdoor spaces, great location, comfortable bed. Plus Jess was incredibly responsive and helpful.

I booked my first Air BnB, and Ryans property was the first! I came from Canada for a small vacation and was pleasantly surprised. It was beautiful and quiet and calm. The wildlife was amazing to experience so close. It was what I needed to escape my busy city life. Ryan was amazing to deal with and was so kind and respectful. Amazing host. I will be rebooking in the near future.

We loved staying here and great location to Grass Valley / Nevada City

My husband and I spent two days at Mi’s fabulous home after a wedding in Calistoga. Mi allowed us to check in early as I needed to be on a work zoom call. Her communication from booking until leaving was clear and warm. The house is just as it looks in the photos, clean well kept, light and airy. The deck surpassed our expectations and we spent a full day basking and enjoying the view. I recommend this air b and b highly, it is one of my favorites ever.

Wow Wow Wow!!! The view and grounds are amazing! The beds are all very comfortable and the linens are super soft. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware which made dinners easy. Plenty of seating and tables for all 8 of us. Bathrooms are updated with all of the amenities. The outdoor area was our favorite. They have many outdoor option’s when it comes to seating. Couches, lounges, chairs, beautiful large grass area, not to mention the kayaks, paddle boards and tubes. Steve and Sachie’s place is conveniently located to many of the surrounding cities. Our favorite restaurant was a very short drive and so delicious. Twelve 28 Kitchen will not disappoint. I have to end this review with Wow the view is amazing from this home. Thank you Steve and Sachie, we can’t wait to come back! Patti
