Vacation rentals with a fireplace in South Stormont

This was our second time staying at Sheila’s, we felt right at home. Thank you for everything!

We had a great time at Sasha’s cottage! We loved the coffee bar and thank Sasha for the extra coffee pods she left for our group. We also took advantage of the 2 massage chairs and the chi machine she left at our disposal. All these extra touches added to our experience and we felt pampered with everything in the house. Thank you for the hospitality, we would love to come back again!

We’ve now stayed twice at Brenda’s house. It’s perfect for our family: great location, nice kid’s bedroom, well stocked kitchen, lots of space to relax, and now has a jacuzzi! Westboro beach is a short walk, and there’s a small park nearby for the kids. Brenda is a very thoughtful host, and the house was spotless when we arrived. We definitely plan to be back.

We loved our stay. The space is GORGEOUS. We especislly loved the gates at the top of the deck so the kids could run around and be safe. We stayed in winter and the view was epic. The hot tub was warm and the fire burned all weekend long. All in all we loved our stay, the beds are comfy, the master bedroom is wonderful, the kitchen has everything you need, and you cannot beat the view. Hope to be back soon!

Very friendly cottage for a small family with a large well-lit living room. Well oriented so you can feel the presence of other neighbors and enjoy nature. Access to the Gatineau River is a major asset.

Beautiful home!! Great amenities. No television but we stayed busy with games which was fun! Hot tub was enjoyable and area was shoveled/cleared from snow when we arrived. Lots of space for a big family or for multiple families to stay comfortably, just make sure you out correct # of guests. Host I very responsive to messages and was accommodating. Will return if in area again!

We loved the artificial plants! The location was perfect for exploring the city, and we enjoyed trying out different restaurants in the area. Maya’s place was perfect for our trip! Clean, well decorated, comfortable beds, efficient space, had everything we needed, and a perfect location! We really enjoyed our time there. We ended up spending more time at the apartment then we anticipated due to the weather not being optimal for walking about Ottawa, and we felt cozy and happy at Maya’s place!

If our child chooses to attend Clarkson University, I would hope to return to this property again and again...Definitely give it a look! All the amenities make it truly a mini getaway, so close to campus and downtown. Kudos!

Exactly as advertized. The host was very responsive and helpful. The location was perfect for what we wanted. Walking distance to the canal, shinney rink, great restaurants, pubs, downtown etc.

The location with the untouched Canadian nature, forest and waterfall is stunning! The exclusive spa was such a treat. The whole thing was secluded and peaceful, which is exactly what we wanted. We loved the charm and rustic feel of the heritage villa, but it also has 5 star quality in design, comfort and amenities at the same time. The booking has everything needed to provide it’s guests with a rare exceptional getaway. Highly recommended place to stay if you’re considering booking. We can’t wait to go back.

The place was as described with tons of space indoors and outside. The beds were comfortable and the house was spotless. It was a relaxing night with no interruptions. Rebecca was a kind and responsive host, willing to change bookings when something came up on my end. Her space was homey and clean and instructions were clear to follow. Would absolutely stay with her again when the opportunity arises.

The bedroom is spacious with a very comfortable bed and a few meters away it counts with a private bathroom. The house is located in a new and quiet development. It is advisable to go with a car. Rollinz was a very courteous and immediate communication host for any inquiry. I will definitely be staying at her home again on my next trip to Ottawa. Absolutely recommend it!
