Vacation rentals with breakfast in South Somerset District

Amelia’s home is lovely, cosy and brilliantly located on a quiet street, a few steps from the centre of historic Sherborne in beautiful Dorset. Amelia is a kind and thoughtful host. We felt right at home.

We booked a 3 night stay in the week. Harry’s place was fantastic. He supplied enough breakfast items to feed a few people, which was such a bonus . The house was lovely, really homely and comfortable. Our pooch was catered for too. Some really beautiful walks from the house into the woods, which we all enjoyed. The coast was about 30mins drive, which we did visit. One thing to note, some of the local restaurants/takeaways were not open until midweek which wasn’t a deal breaker but good to know. The Pig at Combe was a great place to visit and eat, dogs allowed in the Folly, highly recommend. Communication from Harry was great and we did get to meet him as they only live next door. We would definitely like to visit again.

This beautiful cottage is a perfect blend of cosy and traditional, but also clean and modern. The cottage garden is gorgeous. We arrived late on the Friday and it was easy to access and Jane’s instructions and responses were great. Everything was clean and the bed was so comfy. But what makes this place so special is all the little touches. We were grateful for the homemade bread, cake, few bits in the fridge, eggs etc which made it feel like you a proper home from home. We loved the stay and our 10 month old daughter did too. There is a small spar convenient shop round the corner. A pub very close, which we sadly didn’t go in. But otherwise the village is tiny, quiet and beautiful. Thank you so much Jane.

The 3 of us had a fantastic stay from start to finish. Felt truly relaxed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the Coach house was full of everything we needed, and catered very well for our 15 month old who had lots of toys to play with. The dog is great fun and friendly and its a lovely location to watch the many rabbits eating grass right outside the window. Will be back !

This was our first stay at an Airbnb and it certainly set a high standard. We only stayed the one night for visiting Stonehenge but would gladly have stayed longer. The property was clean comfortable and had everything we needed. Would definitely use again if in the area.

We had the most wonderful weekend in Lyme Regis, and Tess's house was the perfect home from home in an ideal location. Not only did the house provide everything we needed, she laid out a cream tea for our arrival and the girls were very excited by the toys in their bedroom. We spent our days exploring and evenings on the beach where not only a seal spent the night in the bay while the girls paddled but we also spent an hour watching a dolphin jumping out the water. We will most certainly be back. Thank you for a magical family weekend x

Wonderful stay at Ann's place. The house is modern, well equipped, cosy and clean. In the village so all amenities on your doorstep. The view is outstanding, large terrace and garden. We loved it, thank you.

Perfect little place very peaceful walking distance to bus stop and town lots of information in the property about bath and place to go and eat we will definitely be booking the garden flat the next time we come to bath

Me my partner and dog had a brilliant stay, Barrie and Paula could not have been helpful enough with any issues we had. Would 100% recommend to anyone else looking to stay in the Poole/Bournemouth area. We have no quarms in booking to stay here again.

Highly recommended. This is our second visit. The apartment is very clean, well appointed and set in beautiful, well kept gardens. We enjoyed being able to walk our little dog in the private field/paddock at the rear of the property with lovely views of the surrounding fields and countryside. Well worth a visit and Steve is a very welcoming host.

Great value for money. Ann went over and above, as described on other reviews. Communicated brilliantly when we were informing her of what was going on after our car broke down. After a long drive it was great that some essentials were provided. There’s was great info and tips about the local area. She also left us a card and a sweet treat since we were on our honeymoon. The peg wall of leaflets is a lovely touch. Amazingly close to the white horse as well. We didn’t use the laundry facilities but it was great that it was there. Thanks for a great stay.

The great thing about Airbnb is the unique places you end up at. Beth’s was delightful. You know you are in someone’s home straight away. Full of character and charm. Everything catered for; milk, bread and eggs were really appreciated. Lovely property in every respect.

I felt more than welcome the moment I arrived, both Carolyn and her husband (teddy I think!) were so kind and helpful. I’d come down to cycle and see a friend. On arrival I realised I’d left part of my bike at home. The hosts literally went above and beyond to help ensure my disaster was solved and I can’t thank them enough. The Airbnb was delightful, beautiful surroundings and perfect location, totally private yet so near all you could need. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending a stay there and will be back, of that I’m sure!

Howell and Susie were the best hosts we have experienced. They were so welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed meeting their friends and neighbours out by the Duck Pond for a wonderful evening get together. A wonderful experience we will not forget. Willow Haven was a lovely place to spend a night. It had everything you could need for a night or two, even longer if you are venturing out for dinners. The location is a little remote but was perfect for me and was extremely peaceful. Heather's instructions were spot on to help find the place. Heather was extremely friendly and responsive. Willow Haven was lovely and cosy, well laid out and had every home comfort you could need. I loved the accommodation, it was beautiful. I only stayed one night but would have been very happy there for longer.

Beautiful relaxing stay with a friendly and informative host . Sian ensured all was available to have a good breakfast ,snacks and comfortable stay in a pleasant environment. A wonderful hidden gem. What an absolute gem! One of the best stays I've had in the UK, Patrick and Sophie were very friendly and communicative. As for the space, beautifully renovated to the highest standard, clean, well equipped, our every need was catered for. I can't wait to have another opportunity to stay here soon, and you will not be disappointed!
