Kid-friendly vacation rentals in South Slope, Brooklyn

I would definitely recommend staying here. I was celebrating my birthday & Morlisa surprised me with a bottle of Rose☺️(I’m 24). If you want somewhere to stay that’s comfortable & less chaotic than staying in a hotel within Manhattan, this is the place. Close to the JFK airport too.

This is a comfortable, well-equipped 2-bedroom apartment. It’s not far from the Grand Army Plaza subway stop, which makes it quite easy to get into Manhattan as well as around Brooklyn. Lovely street and neighborhood. The frontroom has one double-bed so it might not be the right layout for a group or family, say, but it worked for me. And there is a private bedroom with a double-bed as well. The small bathroom also might not work for a group of 3 or 4, but was fine for me. I appreciated the responsiveness of Asha’s manager. Everything was done with care.

Close to the subway and it fit us (five people) pretty well

Excellent home in a fabulous neighborhood! Sara was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout our stay. There wasn't any air-conditioning to ease the heat of the really hot days, but the location and cleanliness of the unit was worth the steamy moments. Also - it is very easy to find parking on this street! What an unexpected surprise!

Had a fantastic stay at Michael's place. Michael was great with check-in and out, flexible with times and even helped us with our luggage. He provided a really handy sheet of local recs which we made great use of. Michael's place is a beautiful period house in Brooklyn with walkable access to the Q train to Manhattan or Coney Island and a short walk from Prospect Park. The apartment is on one private floor with its own balcony space. The apartment is beautifully decorated and includes more amenities than you could need. There is one very spacious double bedroom with an en-suite toilet, and a sofa bed in the back half of the lounge which converts to a second bedroom. Huge kitchen with excellent cooking facilities and a beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower and period features.

Carla's place was beautiful, bright, spotless and felt very peaceful. It was a wonderful place to come back to at the end of busy days and evenings. I had the pleasure of meeting Carla a couple of times outside as we were coming and going. She is very warm and friendly. I didn't need anything during my stay but I appreciated how she made me feel that she would be easy to reach out to if I needed her. Carla's communicated quickly from start to finish. I will look forward to returning to Carla's place on my next visit to Brooklyn!

This apartment is a fantastic base to explore the city. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well laid out. It stayed nice and cool during our stay too. The location is on a great block that's close to great shops, restaurants, and activities, and is also very close to the subway. We really enjoyed our visit.

Such a nice, wonderful place. Perfect for staying up n Brooklyn and just takes a little coordination to get around to other places. Erika was polite, kind, and responsive and helped make our stay stress free. The interior is designed well, with a great eye for art!

Ed’s place is incredibly charming and cozy. It’s in an amazing location with access to multiple train lines, buses and ferries. So many great restaurants nearby as well as steps to just about anything you need. The stairs are a bit of a workout, but as long as that is something you can do, it’s well worth the climb to this Cobble Hill gem.

I loved my stay at Jamal’s. The apartment was spacious, classy, and comfortable — a pleasing mix of vintage charm and modern convenience. There was plenty to explore in the neighborhood including a second-hand bookstore, park, and gourmet herb and spice market. I highly recommend Macosa Trattoria on Tompkins Ave for its fresh Italian fare and cozy, no-fuss vibe. Convenient access to DUMBO and Manhattan via subway a short walk from apartment. Jamal and Davis were responsive and helpful. I’d definitely stay again.

Linsey’s place was easy to settle into—comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared. Every detail was covered, from kid-friendly dishes and towels to an iron and teapot, making it feel like a home away from home. The space was quiet and restful after full days exploring the city, and the lighting in the evening made it feel especially cozy. Clear instructions and room controls helped us feel self-sufficient, and the toys for the kids were such a sweet bonus. Linsey’s communication was detailed and considerate throughout. We also loved Café Spaghetti just around the corner—a neighborhood gem with great hours and a relaxed vibe perfect for little ones.

Even nicer than the pictures! We loved the high ceilings and sense of space in the flat. Everything was exceptionally clean, which we appreciated. Adam was very responsive, and helpful. Everything was just perfect. Definitely grab a bagel at The Bagel Pub down the street while you’re there!

We had the most wonderful time staying at this apartment. Andre was awesome from the time we booked right through to when we checked out. Always quick to respond and so lovely to talk to, we received clear instructions and lots of recommendations. The apartment was awesome and we felt right at home straight away. It was perfect. The area feels safe and you’re footsteps away from a subway station taking you anywhere! I will definitely be booking this again if I am every fortunate enough to come back to New York! Hamza was very responsive and accommodating. The apartment is simple and small, but everything you need if you’re looking for a place to crash while exploring Brooklyn. Great location, easy check in.

My sister, my neice and nephew were all very happy with the Air B n B. It was truly like a home from home, it was clean and tidy and had all the immenities necessary for our stay. Kevin was very friendly and helpful. I shall be returning to NYC next year and plan on staying at Kevin's great Air B n B spot, subject to availability, as it's very popular. Amazing spot in BedStuy! The apartment is on a lovely, quiet street that is very close to transportation. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay while visiting family. As I grew up in the area I know my way around, but easy to get around for anyone! The bay is a beautiful site when you walk up the block. There are many places to visit in walking distance as well as plenty of transportation choices withing walking distance. Plenty of places to eat as well, with many different choices of food. Nice private quite apartment, I will be staying again in the Fall.

There was a lovely welcome package with a note, cookies and water awaiting us. They texted through Airbnb to make sure our stay was going well and we didn't need anything. Overall it was such an easy and relaxing experience that made our first trip to NYC a delight. I would come back again and highly recommend Timothy's place to everyone!!! Thanks so much.

Anthony is the best host I’ve ever had! So friendly, welcoming, and super responsive. He has clearly poured ample love and care into the space—it is immaculate, stylish, well-equipped, and truly an easy Williamsburg oasis!

Our family of 4 stayed 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the path in 5 min to connect to the NYC subways. On the walk, you pass multiple cafes and coffee shops. Great craft beer and wine shop on the corner. Pizza shop, Basile’s, right next to the PATH is perfect for a late night snack. The beds were comfortable, and even though there was some street noise heard at night, a sound machine was provided to help lull you to sleep. The only thing you have to be aware of is the unit is located on the 2nd floor, and you have to go up a narrow set of stairs which can be hard with multiple suitcases. Other than that, a comfortable and convenient place to stay with everything within walking distance!

Loved the stay in the apartment! It was beautiful, peaceful and exactly what we needed to have a little time when life takes over. Will for sure be booking the spot again!! The view of NYC was beautiful. Well worth every penny-one of the nicest, cleanest places we’ve stayed so far! The owners are very attentive to your needs- and if you have questions they are answered promptly- couldn’t have asked for better hosts!!🤗 Thanks again for everything.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is just like the photos, and in a lovely neighborhood with grocery, coffee, restaurants, subway, etc. nearby. The bed is super comfortable...amazing water pressure...all located in a quiet building. I would definitely stay here again!
