Vacation rentals with a fireplace in South Italy

Wonderful secluded farmhouse apartment. Very responsive host that gave us perfectly clear instruction as well as good recommendation for the area. Having a car is a necessity as most things are 20-25 min away. Highly recommended!

We loved our short stay at Brano’s place. It is a true idyll: away from the masses in a beautiful countryside location with a stunning view of the mountains and surrounded by calm and pretty nature. Brano was an excellent host and we enjoyed the visits from the local cat and dogs who came to spend some time with us! Would come again for longer. Thank you 🙏🏼

Roberto is a very welcoming host, he is very responsive and gave us some great recommendations in the area. He even brought us breakfast twice. The house has an unobstructed view of the sea with private access without sand space to settle in but with a small concrete terrace. We also enjoyed the outdoor terrace which is sheltered from the wind and where we spent very pleasant evenings. We had a good week in Sicily and the location very close to the airport (15 min) was a plus. The cities of Trapani, Palermo, Mondello, Segeste are easily accessible within 1 hour and Cefalu at 1h20.

We stayed at this fantastic villa for two nights, Friday - Sunday. The host was immediately available and thorough to answer any of our questions. When we arrived we found ourselves in a beautiful villa, clean, modern and within reach of everyone. Carlos and his wife immediately made us feel at ease, explaining the simple little house rules. Never intrusive but always ready in time of need!! We will definitely be back!

5-star accommodation Perfect house without neighbors with a beautiful garden to relax near the Amalfi Coast. In the town where the Path of the Gods begins, but with enough tranquility to rest very well after a day of sightseeing Chiara is very clear and communicative Everything was perfect, I'll be back!

Staying on Erice (already inhabited 6th century BC) is a special experience. In the low season, it is partly a ghost town, especially at night, but there is plenty of infrastructure, cafes, bars, restaurants. During the day it is besieged by tourists, who often do not have enough time to explore it completely and stay on certain paths. I have not only explored Erice, but the mountain from all sides, there are beautiful nature all around in spring and well-maintained hiking trails. The apartment may look a little old-fashioned and the stone house is a little fresh, but everything is there, pleasant and the large roof terrace a bonus. The host is reliable, responsive, helpful, and a Superhost. She gave everything so I didn't miss anything and picked me up whenever necessary.

Agriturismo Fonte Sala is very well kept up and in a beautiful setting. The apartment is as advertised. Both Lorenzo and Geanina were very helpful. We did have an intermittent issue with wifi, but that was probably due to the heavy rain and wind, as we had some issues with internet access via cellular as well. We would stay here again.

We loved our stay at the beautiful stone house on the Bay of Kotor! The location was perfect, easy to explore neighboring towns of Kotor and Perast, lots of great restaurants within a short drive (and a few within walking distance). We loved the quiet street and the location right on the water was absolutely perfect to enjoy the outdoors (a huge plus to have a paddle board for our use as well!). House was spacious and comfortable, and the hosts were so lovely, allowing us to check in early and were very responsive to any questions we had. They also provided wine and fruit and some great local recommendations. I would definitely recommend and would stay again!

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed. My husband and I spent 4 nights in Bojana’s apartment. Great location on the marina and two minutes’ walk from South gate of old town Kotor. You get the location and peacefulness. You can also eat outside as there is a table at your disposal on the patio. We have enjoyed our offer in the morning looking at the marina. The apartment is beautiful, newly renovated- it seems-, extremely clean , spacious and very comfortable. Bojana is a super host - she has great recommendations for restaurants, activities ( boat tour, beaches …). And another major advantage is - and believe me you will appreciate it once in Kotor- is a parking space reserved for you. Thank you very much Bojana for a wonderful stay at your place.

We were hosted for a couple's trip with our dog. Mrs. Ivana is very helpful and friendly. The apartment was very tidy and clean. Extreme proximity to all the amenities of the center.

This place was beautiful. I wish we had longer to stay. Surrounded by great restaurants and plenty of things to do. With the active nightlife in the area it was a little noisy but host provides ear plugs that work very well had a great night sleep without any disturbances.

We had an awesome stay! Very close to everything especially Vatican. We had 2 apts joined together as we needed 3 bedrooms and 3bathdooms. Super spacious. The bedrooms on the right side (2br2bth) were very noisy at night time though due to the proximity to the streets and cafe downstairs. 1br apt on the left was very quiet. Marzia was a great host with very fast responses. Overall I recommend it, but don’t forget earplugs.

Wonderful stay at Daria's. She was helpful and communicative throughout the stay, and her parents who live next door were very generous and welcoming. Great base for exploring the area.

Amazing airbnb. Very spacious for a family (we were only 2) with two balconies and an amazing view of Korcula town from two rooms. We also loved the location within walking distance from the old town but still far enough away from the cruise ship day visitors. Would definitely go here again! Thank you Vlasta!

I recently stayed at an Airbnb in Trastevere, Rome, and the experience was truly enjoyable. Villa Gorna is an amazing location with fantastic hosts. The property is as described and photos are accurate. A lot of care was taken to put nice extra features. Orazio was very responsive and helpful, with offers available for tours etc. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

I honestly can’t recommend this place highly enough. We were so well looked after. The host (Laura) even drove me to the local supermarket to get groceries, as we arrived late and had our child with us. It seemed that nothing was too much trouble. The place is incredible! Large, traditionally decorated interior and impressive outside space. A lovely little welcome pack is available in the kitchen with some breakfast items and the whole place was outstandingly clean. You won’t be disappointed with this accommodation. Thank you so very much Laura!!! You went above and beyond for us and that was before you posted a scarf back to us in the UK that we left in Rome. Our time at Mario’s house was amazing. The pictures do not do justice to the views from all parts of the home. The property is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. It is huge and beautiful. The home is very safe and is surrounded by a gate, including the driveway. The surrounding area is quaint and very walkable. There are cafes and small shops. We were a party of 8, with two families of 4. There was plenty of space for us all to stay comfortably. Mario and his family were kind and gracious hosts. We would absolutely recommend staying here and my children have asked how soon we can return :)

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful Airbnb right on the water. The property is spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of six adults, with plenty of communal spaces to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Our host was very attentive and took care of every request we had. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious retreat!

We had a wonderful weekend in this villa surrounded by greenery, a real corner of peace to get away from the routine. Right away, the host was helpful and attentive, guaranteeing us a peaceful stay. The house has exceeded expectations: spacious, cozy and tastefully furnished, with clean and well organized environments, equipped with every comfort. The location is ideal, surrounded by nature but well connected, with the ski slopes reachable in about an hour. After a day in the snow, we wanted to watch the Sanremo final, but the comfort of the sofa and the warmth of the environment captured us... and we fell asleep! An unforgettable stay, which we will definitely repeat!

I had the most amazing birthday trip I could have asked for. Not only was the villa absolutely stunning, and a mesmerising place to wake up and relax in, the host made our trip infinitely better with his friendly disposition and excellent recommendations.
