Escape from the crowds and enjoy a real Roman experience in the tranquillity of this minimal, modern flat in a quiet corner nestled into the city's magnificent Aurelian Walls. Clean lines, crisp white walls, and sleek wood and metal finishing create an airy, up-to-date feel. The flat has an open-plan kitchen-living space, two bedrooms and one bathroom. It can accommodate up to three guests plus younger children. We’ve taken a lot of care to try and make sure your stay is as comfy and hassle-free as possible. There are various possible sleeping combinations so please ask if you need a particular arrangement. A child’s cot is available on request. Dogs are welcome and we can provide a dog’s bed. There’s wi-fi and air-conditioning in every room. Appliances include TV-DVD combo, dishwasher, washing machine and almost everything else you might need. The furniture is brand new except when it’s rather old. You can borrow from our collection of guidebooks, cookbooks, novels and DVDs during your stay. CHECKLIST sleeps up to 3 young children and pets welcome air-conditioning in all rooms fast wi-fi in all rooms TV and DVD washing machine and dishwasher bedding and towels provided security door and combination safe no smoking no wheelchair access I reply to requests quickly, typically in an hour or two and you'll certainly hear from me the same day. I'm very happy to answer any questions to make sure you're making the booking that you want. My friend Pascale usually does check-in and out and she will answer any phone calls during your stay. That said, I'm not far away if needed. I speak English, Italian and French. If you want to write to me in a different language, that’s OK but be aware that I’ll use computer translation to read and write messages—you can help by writing short clear sentences. The flat overlooks the Aurelian Walls with 'Parco delle Mura Aureliane' in one direction and 'Parco degli Scipioni' in the other, both less than 2 minutes’ walk away. Just across the road is the covered market of Piazza Epiro, great for typical fresh local produce. Many major attractions are nearby: the Basilica of San Giovani in Laterano, the Baths of Caracalla, Circus Maximus and the Colosseum, the Museum of the Walls, the Catacombs, and the beautiful Basilica of St. Stephen in the Round. BUSES 360 to Termini Central Station 628 to Town Centre 218, 360 and 665 to San Giovanni Metro METRO San Giovanni and Piazza Re di Roma are both 10 minutes away on foot. And 218, 360 and 665 buses run from San Giovanni to Piazza Epiro. ON FOOT You can reach a lot of attractions on foot. For example, the Colosseum is about 20 minutes' pleasant walk away. TAXIS The nearest taxi rank is at Piazza Tuscolo a few minutes' walk away. CYCLE You can hire bicycles locally from Info Point Appia Antica, Via Appia Antica, 58. This is a great way to visit the Appia Antica Park. SCOOTER HIRE Hiring a scooter is a great way to get around Rome. There are a couple of places in the centre that specialise in renting to tourists, e.g. BICI & BACI, Via del Viminale, 5. TOURIST TAX INCLUDED EXTRA BEDS We can host a maximum of 3 people over 12 years of age (municipal rules) but extra children are allowed. You can request: - an extra bed for a child under 12 years old (€15/night extra). It’s only needed if the other 3 beds are already occupied. - a child’s cot for a child under 2 years old (no extra charge). Please tell us about your extra needs when you book.

It’s a very nice apartment block, there’s 6 units in total, the location suited our trip, we were greeted by a lovely lady called Lucia who showed us around and made us feel very welcome. Our apartment was beautiful and quiet, very well equipped. I would recommend getting a top floor apartment as the bottom apartment we stayed in was noisy from people walking or moving chairs upstairs. My only other recommendation is that the second bedroom be fitted with a blind as the light shines through, this didn’t worry us but might others. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will still recommend you staying.

Giuseppe’s place was perfect. We were traveling through Italy and stayed the night here. We booked late and checked in late and they were very accommodating even though it was after hours. Our gps took us to the back entrance but the instructions provided were able to help us find the right entrance on the other side. The room had a bathroom and living area/kitchen which was a good size and everything was clean. Host was very communicative and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again.

Sasha's apartment was a great find for our family. Sasha is an absolutely wonderful host, attentive, friendly, caring. He met us at the train station and brought us to the apartment. The house was clean, well prepared. Sasha took me to the store for my first shopping, gave me wine and delicious cookies to the children. Bikes were important to us and he arranged them for us in the amount we needed. He told me which route is better to take for a bike trip to Old Bar and to the Old Olive. We were pleased to meet Sasha's family, they are all bright friendly people. Sasha's sister brought us fresh figs, Sasha offered us to treat us with grapes that grow on the terrace. Sasha gave us an unforgettable adventure trip to a secluded bay and prepared a magical dinner with fish for us. We had a wonderful stay at Sasha's house and would love to come back. Thank you, Sasha!!!

We truly enjoyed our stay! Even though we visited in January, the air conditioning in both the bedroom and dining area kept the space comfortably warm. The apartment was equipped with a great coffee machine, which was a fantastic touch, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Having a washing machine available was a big plus, especially when traveling with small luggage. The apartment was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed, making us feel right at home. The location was also very convenient, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment offered a fantastic view of the sea and the hillside. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return in the future!
