Earth house vacation rentals in South Italy

Wir haben uns bei Andrea sehr wohl gefühlt. Er hat uns herzlich begrüßt und ist ein netter Gastgeber. Das Haus liegt traumhaft in einem kleinen Fischerdorf und hat alles, was man braucht. Die Küche ist etwas älter, wir kamen aber gut damit zurecht. Das Meer vor der Haustür ist sauber und klar. Das Schnorcheln direkt in der kleinen Bucht hinter dem Haus war klasse! Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit und würden wiederkommen. Mückenschutz nicht vergessen. Unbedingt in der Bar Il Gatto Pescatore im Ort essen; war sehr lecker! Direkt am Hafen hat eine Pizzeria eröffnet, die am Wochenende (Sonntag) einen DJ hat und bis 1 Uhr in der Nacht Musik macht. Uns hat es nicht gestört; sollte man aber wissen, wenn man lärmempfindlich ist oder Kinder hat, die dann nicht schlafen können. Alles in allem hatten wir einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und würden wieder kommen! Grazie mille Andrea!

Lovely Villa, beautiful outdoor space with pool and sun terrace. Lovely access to the sea via Beach with padel board and kayak. Very nice spot.

Chiara’s airbnb is the perfect place to stay at when exploring Matera! A beautiful and quiet « cave home », in the heart of Matera. Chiara was very responsive and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities. We highly recommend her place. We also recommend hiking the Parco Regionale della Murgia Materana at sunset. Incredibly beautiful! Thank you Chiara for welcoming us in your very special home!

We had a great 5 day stay at the house and enjoyed the outstanding views and peaceful atmosphere. The hot tub was an added bonus and the patio had great seating arrangements. Fabrizio was an attentive host and always responded quickly. He kindly picked us up at the ferry dock and drove us back down upon our departure. We did not cook but the kitchen seemed to have everything that was necessary. Spaces within the house were large and comfortable. We did not have a vehicle so getting places was challenging but we did manage to use the bus. I would highly recommend Profumo di Mirto Thank you Fabrizio!

We had the pleasure to enjoy the villa dei sogni for almost two weeks. Like our first visit, it was again just breathtaking. The house, the pool and especially the view, absolutely amazing! See you next time, villa dei sogni!

La casa si trova vicino a tanti posti immersi nella natura. A pochi minuti a piedi ci sono sentieri e falesia per arrampicata, attrezzata quest' ultima molto bene. Poi con la macchina abbiamo raggiunto campo avventura ben organizzato, nei periodi di festa meglio prenotare dal sito. Ci sono nel paese un paio di bar che fanno anche da piccoli alimentari, vicinissimi alla casa. Poi al Balzolo si mangia molto bene. Le persone sono molto gentili ma non solo gli ospiti della casa ma anche le persone del paese. Quindi se siete alla ricerca una vacanza o do un fine settimana in natura e calma durante la notte questo è un posto che consiglio!

Die Wohnung von Giovanni liegt ein bisschen versteckt, aber dafür ruhig und alles ist gut erreichbar. Der Check-In durch Sofia, die sehr nett und aufmerksam ist. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll im Inselstil eingerichtet. Zum Kochen ist alles da, nur Geschirrtücher sollte man dabei haben. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Lovely place, spacious and well designed. Beautiful terrace. The only downside for some could be a considerable climb up the hill, which we didn’t mind that much. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location inside the city walls. Clean and very well organized space - precisely as described. The garden is a nice touch. The hostess Mare, was outstanding. The perfect balance of professional responsivity, assistance and information, while giving guests uninterrupted quiet enjoyment time to take in the location and history. Thank you. Siamo stati 3 giorni e ci siamo veramente rilassati, l’alloggio vale il prezzo…. C’era tutto il necessario. Personale sempre disponibile! Grazie mille, torneremo sicuramente!

Przepiękne miejsce! Mieszkanie składa się z salonu z kuchnią na parterze a następnie schodzi się w dół jaskini do sypialni. Dom wykuty jest w skale, pokazuje nam, jak ludzie w Materze mieszkali od wieków. W sypialni chodzą dwa klimatyzatory osuszające powietrze, aby pobyt był komfortowy. Na zewnątrz była wysoka temperatura a w pomieszczeniu przyjemnie chłodno. Nie było duszno. Powitali nas rodzice gospodyni i opowiedzieli parę słów o mieszkaniu i okolicy. Widać było, że bardzo dbają o to miejsce. Polecam nocleg tutaj, ponieważ jest to wyjątkowe przeżycie nocować w domu wykutym w skale.

Na een spannende autorit naar boven werden we aangenaam verrast door de mooie locatie en vriendelijke mensen die ons ontvingen. De volgende ochtend hebben we na het ontbijt een hele mooie bootreis gemaakt. Voor de avonturiers is de wijnmakerij een echte aanrader.

5 stars - Beautiful Trullo and great host. We had a fantastic time in Trullo Dorado. It is a beautiful Trullo tastefully decorated and homely inside with very pretty gardens and a lovely pool. Vito and Guiliano were amazing, very welcoming and helped to book a surprise wine tasting for my parents 30th wedding anniversary which was a highlight of our trip. They also offer different experiences such as a piazza night where you can make your own pizza which I highly recommend! The location is great for trips into Alberobello(5 mins by car) and travelling further afield around Puglia’s many beautiful towns. A perfect holiday for the 3 of us and hope to return soon. We would definitely recommend.

Mauro ist ein großartiger Gastgeber. Seine kulinarischen Empfehlungen waren perfekt. Die Unterkunft ist etwas besonderes!

Mirko was a great host and his place is amazing. The location is amazing and has all grocery stores (one right outside) and restaurants nearby. There is public transport right outside which takes you to the city center. Kids play areas nearby as well. Now coming to the villa- a huge garden and a trampoline and hammock to enjoy the outdoors. The inside has this old rustic charm that is an amazing experience. A parking right inside is a cherry on the top. Mirko was kind enough to leave a welcome gift as well. The communication was great. I would definitely recommend it to everyone and if you have kids they will surely enjoy this place. Totally worth it!

First of all, I would like to thank Oscar for his warm welcome. It is a place of amazing beauty and full of peace. The rooms, the colours, the overall atmosphere, the authenticity - everything made my heart happy. Oscar lives nearby, but we felt like we were the only residents. In fact, it is the pictures that do not convey the true beauty of the villa. You will definitely be satisfied and happy if you choose to stay here. I rarely write reviews about places I visit. Marin’s place was in a peaceful neighborhood that was close enough to visit Dubrovnik during the day. The neighborhood also had walkable restaurants and local beaches that never were too crowded. Marin was never short of recommendations and was always spot on. We’ll never forget the beautiful views with coffee each morning.
