Rural Hideaway near Bath

CallyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
All as described and we enjoyed our stay. Karen was responsive. Little outside of Bath but that’s what we wanted. We loved cycling, running and walking along the canal which is about 5 minutes away. Karen’s guide book was a great help also it is packed with recommendations for things todo and restaurants.

Puddledock Piggery

KateRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had such a wonderful stay at the Piggery. It was absolutely beautiful, we loved the space and the indoor/outdoor living. Our two little girls had such a lovely time in the outdoor space while we could relax as it was so safe. We visited Longleat and it was a perfect locations, just 10 minutes away. The perfect place to unwind after a very busy day! Beverly was so lovely and made us all feel very welcome. We will definitely stay again!

The Cabin at Laverton, near Bath, rural setting.

MarleeRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Our stay at David and Jill’s place was one of our favourite Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! We couldn’t have asked any more from them, we were greeted on our arrival and they came over to check in on us as checked-out. We felt so looked after! David and Jill have thought about absolutely everything at the property, and the space is contemporary whilst also feeling cosy and relaxing. My partner and I wish we could move in!! The location is amazing, it is so quiet and peaceful, yet you can drive into big towns within 10-15 mins. David and Jill have such an amazing knowledge of the area and told us all the good spots to eat and explore throughout our stay - which was also conveniently all printed out and put into a folder for us to look through at our own leisure too. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We will 100% be back. Thank you Jill and David for having us, and for making our weekend so special :)

Mill Garden Lodge Romantic Spa break in the Forest

ThomasRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Traceys place is a fantastic cottage to base yourself to explore the Forest of Dean. A short drive to the main visitor centres and several walks available from the door. Lovely little place to come back to after being out exploring for the day, it's perfect for couples. The garden isn't secure, but they do have a ground spike with a long line on (or another cottage with a fenced garden). There is also a meadow field which is great to take your dog up to. Tracey and Dave were lovely hosts with what was probably the most comprehensive recommendations email we have ever had.

Lodge with stunning Mendip view near to Wells

KathrynRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

The Pretty Shed, near Bath.

FreyaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is a great place - it's really characterful and cosy. Kirstie was communicative and went above and beyond, allowing me to send a package to The Shed ahead of my arrival. It was a great place to stay for a wedding at the local Priston Mill. I appreciated the ease of the 522 bus to/from Bristol and the tasty fish and chips at The Haynes.

Cosy Shepherds Hut fab views National Trust Lacock

ChristineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay at the Shepherds hut exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful inside and out, spotlessly clean, tasteful decor and had everything we needed for a relaxed and pleasant stay. The view was stunning and Lacock is 15 min walk away. We were fortunate with the weather but it would still be great in the cold or rain. Our host Dilly was lovely and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.

Luxury Shepherds Hut with hot tub near Bath

TillyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely time staying at the shepherds hut for my birthday, Nancy was incredibly responsive when we needed but also gave us plenty of privacy. The hut itself was spotless and looked exactly like the photos, the hot tub was also brilliant and definitely a highlight of our trip! One thing I would say is maybe replacing the bar stools as we weren’t able to use them due to how high up they were, apart from that it was a fantastic find and would recommend to family and friends!

The Hay Trailer was absolutely lovely, my partner and I loved it! It was super cosy and the bed was so comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed to make a meal (stove, kettle, mini oven) and also had tea, coffee and sugar too which was much appreciated. We loved the hot tub and felt like we had lots of privacy when using it too. Really recommend, would love to visit again!

Hideaway cabin in Southville, Bristol

KayRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A great 'small space' in Southville within easy walking distance of the amenities North Street and Wapping Wharf. But for us near to a crowded family house where one more bedroom is needed for grandparents but the cosy cabin provides that for us! Spotlessly clean and just right for two. Bed super comfortable and considering the urban location it is surprising quiet overnight. The fan was useful as it was warm and sunny - as Bristol often is. Lizzie is friendly and welcoming in her communications and face to face. Thank you once again.

Swan Pod with Hot Tub - Ashlea Lakeside Retreat

AllyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My boyfriend & I stayed here for three nights to celebrate his birthday. Perfect little escape - serene surroundings & amenities like the hot tub are naturally, very relaxing. The other five cabins are far enough away to give you privacy, without leaving you feeling completely alone. We used the Lansdown P&R (25min drive away) to take a day trip into Bath. The only thing guests should note there is no oven, so bear this in mind when planning self-catering. However, the hob & microwave should be adequate for most cooking needs. Could not fault this stay, Rachael was responsive & warm and provided everything we needed to enjoy our time there. Both the hot tub and cabin itself were spotlessly clean. The local swans were very interested in our morning fry-up, which provided some good entertainment! We left wishing we’d booked another night - would definitely stay again!

The Hideaway (Hanham hills)

SamanthaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
A wonderfully peaceful two night stay in lovely wooden shepherds hut set amongst the tree’s. The hut was super cosy with everything we needed, plus a great size comfortable bed. Lovely view over the countryside, we really enjoyed being able to sit outside watching nature. Host was spot on, fantastic communication and very accommodating. Loved the screenshot walking guide, we followed it and it led us to the pub so we were very pleased! Some treats were left for us, the farm shop muesli was absolutely delicious so thank you for that.

Shepherds hut - Gertie

CaitlainRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
An absolutely beautiful place to stay! My husband and I spent our 1st wedding anniversary here and couldn’t have chosen better. Waking up to the stunning countryside views was incredibly peaceful and serene. Each day, we took short trips into Bath to explore the city, then returned to the calm and comfort of the countryside in the evening, it was the perfect balance. Laura was a wonderfully friendly and responsive host, ensuring everything was spotless for our arrival. She even left us some delicious local food, which made for the perfect breakfast on our first morning.
