Renovated Rustic Stable set in Rolling Hills

RebeccaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The Stables was the perfect destination for a relaxing holiday away from the city. Yvonne was an excellent host who gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and left us some tasty scones as a welcome gift. The view from the place is stunning and we enjoyed eating outside watching the birds. The place was comfortable, the shower was hot and had good pressure and the kitchen had everything we needed. I'd thoroughly recommend this place and will hopefully come again in the future.

250-year-old stables in town centre

SusieQRating, 5 stars5 months ago
This is an excellent location! Taxi stand across the street and of course the train station, about 10 minutes to Bath on the train. It was clean and tidy, and a good kitchen, everything you need, with a Sainsbury express right across the street to stock up. I did not have a car, but there is parking. And you can walk over the train tracks to the pub, the Old Road Tavern.

Characterful upside down barn in the countryside

LynnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Perfect private accommodation next to hosts own occupied farmhouse (with own private secluded garden) which we enjoyed immensely with late afternoon sunshine until dusk listening to newly arrived lambs and odd moo from livestock residing behind hedge.Everything you would like to enjoy on holiday was supplied. If anything is amiss Louise and Steve assured us they would supply. We were greeted with a ‘welcome tray’ laden with emergency essentials- fresh ground coffee, orange juice, biscuits, milk - a great touch, thank you.The upside down layout we found ideal as it was very hot weather. Upstairs comfortable in living accommodation with windows open and better downstairs later in evening on cool tiled floors and bedrooms which we enjoyed a very peaceful, restful nights sleep. The instructions folder we found very informative with everything supplied for your use to grocery stores/restaurants (with £ guide and * reviews) walks and ‘ must do’ attractions. We will be back next year😃

The Stone Barn - Luxury Barn in Rural Wiltshire

MichelleRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a wonderful time at the Stone Barn! Nicky and Mark provided a beautiful home away from home that couldn’t have been better. It’s so peaceful and the views are amazing. The place was clean (beware if you’re not a fan of spiders though as there are a decent amount in corners, bathroom, etc due to the countryside location I’m sure) and they even gave us a lovely welcome package with local food items. They were responsive and made sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to call home in the Cotswolds area. We were within 1-1.5 hrs drive of all the major sightseeing places which was perfect.

The facilities were first class, and the scenic rural location was simply stunning – a true slice of the quintessential UK countryside. Louise and Dave were warm and welcoming hosts, ensuring everything ran smoothly. We only wish we could have stayed longer! An incredibly affordable accommodation option and an ideal choice for anyone seeking a relaxing rural retreat. Highly recommended.

Stunning Barn Conversion In Bristol Countryside

VishalRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We stopped off at Ian and Claire’s place on our way to Devon and had a lovely few days. The accommodation retains the character of its former use as a barn (exposed wooden beams, cast iron fixings) but has been modernised in a very thoughtful, creative and practical way. It had everything we needed and was the perfect base to explore. With our four year old we visited Dyrham Park and, closer to home, Kingsgate Park (which is one of the best play parks we’ve been to). There’s lots of useful amenities nearby and the setting of the accommodation is very peaceful and private. We loved it, thank you for having us!
