Vacation rentals with breakfast in South Derbyshire District

I was a participant in one of Loughborough University sporting events and I decided to go Airbnb after not so good experiences with local hotels and discovered a sanctuary away from the noises of other participants, and felt so refreshed for the second day's events. The place was so clean, facilities were good and it's within a good walking distance from campus.

We were warmly welcomed by Steve in person where any possible additional needs were discussed. All was good so we were left to unpack and settle in. The rooms were checked each day with used pots being replaced with clean. A lovely breakfast selection was available with yoghurts and fresh fruit. Hand cleanser, shower gel shampoo and conditioner all provided. 5 star place and people. Thank you.

I enjoyed my time whilst staying here. The place was exactly as described and clean. I also want to give compliments to the host for being very responsive.

Adie made us feel very welcome, and made sure we had everything we needed. He left us bread, milk,cereals,teabags,coffee and even a bottle of wine, etc. We were just a little surprised that we had to be out by 10am, we could have done with a little longer. It was great that the dogs came and visited as we were missing ours. Thank you Adie for a wonderful place to lay our heads and get ready for our granddaughters wedding.

We had a lovely stay at Ed and Charlottes, the perfect spot to explore from. The cottage was spotless and exactly as listed with lovely scenery and stocked with the essentials for our stay we were even treated to a delicious bowl of fresh strawberries on our final morning. The place was easy to find and the prearrival instructions easy to follow and had really helpful information on local taxis and places to eat nearby perfect for our stay. I had a wonderful stay with my partner and newborn. We were made to feel right at home and the location and annex was beautiful. Cannot recommend highly enough, we will be returning for sure.

1 Dalebrook View is a thoughtfully furnished and very spacious apartment which immediately feels like home. Very comfortable beds and well designed living spaces with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. Kate could not be more helpful and gives clear details and instructions for everything you need during your stay. Good dog walks can be taken from the front door and there is a small enclosed green area 2 minutes walk away called The Grove next to the Fish and Chip shop. It is an ideal place to briefly take a dog to at the beginning and each end of the day. We visited The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton and nearby Calver Arms plus local cafes. All offering good food and drink options, although we found the Eyam cafés to be very expensive, busy, slow on service or closed. Our booking for three nights from Sunday meant we missed out on a few things not being open including the local Toll Bar fish and chips open Wednesday to Saturday. We will just have to return another time!

Wendy is great at communication - it really felt as if nothing was too much bother. At just under a mile walk (mostly along quiet residential pathways) to Lichfield city centre, it felt we had the best of both worlds.

Martin & Diane's place was very comfortable with a beautiful garden and a very cute dog. Martin and Diane were kind and attentive without being intrusive. There place have everything that was needed and we were pleased with off road parking. We can recommend their place for a city break or to stay if you are working in Coventry. We will visit again when we are visiting family in the area.

A great little flat with a large bedroom with sitting area, separate single bedroom, mini kitchen and a shower room. DIY cold breakfast supplied included cereals, yoghurt, two different juices, bread for toast and jam. Martin is really friendly and available to help at any time if needed. It is excellent value for such a big space that would work well for a family with a child. I would happily return if I was back in the area.

I live locally and rented Sophies place as an emergency for my daughter getting ready for prom due to unexpected building works. I'm glad I did, I've found a new spot for visiting relatives.

Nice suburban location, handy for Selly Oak and the University. Clean and very quiet. Good size room and comfortable bed.

We had a lovely one night stay at The Stables whilst visiting for a wedding. Very clean and everything was very comfy. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and Angela was very accommodating!

Perfect house. The toilet and shower is flawlessly clean. Susan is very nice and warm-hearted. The breakfast is also great for a small fee! Overall, definitely worth the price.

The dog friendly bungalow was spotlessly clean. The hosts were very friendly and kind, and it's a great location.

I needed somewhere close to my meeting and Polly's place ticked all the boxes. The room was well fitted, clean and comfortable. It felt like home. Polly was friendly and welcoming and an excellent host. There was a sizable garden if I wished to sit in it and I could help myself to drinks and breakfast. I was even offered cake! I would definitely recommend. Excellent value for money!

I enjoyed my stay here. My room had a balcony with a view over the gardens. The small kitchen area was great and I could self cater and also l enjoy the home made jam and fresh eggs for breakfast.
