House vacation rentals in South Ayrshire

Our family of 6 enjoyed being in this Holiday park for a whole week. We had the luck to discover a lot of local beauty sites. Furthermore, we visited some Highlands Loch and castles that was amazing. Definitely will be back in future.

My second stay at this place. Was very impressed the first time. A very relaxing and very tidy place to spend a weekend with family. Very good view of the sea and Alisa Craig island rock. Caroline and Stuart were very helpful and accommodating with my scheduling of the stay. Highly recommend this place.

The church cottage is fairly close to the Ayr train station (10 min walk) so Glasgow is easily within reach. The very nearby Fox & Willow restaurant is excellent, as is “The Bistro” downtown. The Stagecoach bus service downtown can take you to many great places (e.g. Culzean Castle) in the area. The cottage area is very quiet.

Our stay at Cameron’s place was perfect. It was spotless with oh so comfortable beds….we slept very very well. The kitchen was extremely high spec with everything we could possibly need and the bathrooms were excellent. On a farm it’s a peaceful getaway yet walking distance to a fantastic restaurant. It was the perfect base for our trip to Royal Troon. Thank you for hosting us Cam! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will recommend you highly.

Fantastic house and host! Very beautiful house in a wonderful location! House had everything that we needed and more! Very comfortable clean beds and pillows! Lovely sitting area in garden great sun trap! Six of us stayed for long weekend and we all would highly recommend this house, great value for money. Host answered very quickly any question that I had and recommended a beautiful restaurant close by for dinner . Walkable to shops and restaurants, will definitely return!

Tranquil, beautiful home with an abundance of character. We stayed for 5 nights as a family and just adored how at home we all felt hanging out in the kitchen, sipping our morning coffee in the garden room, playing games and enjoying a movie night in the sumptuous living room and we can’t believe how well we ALL slept. The mattresses in the beds are amazing!!!! Thank you Linzi for your responsiveness and for sending a high chair for us to use so quickly. Highly recommend !!!!!!

We booked this property for a large group of 15+ people as we had family visiting for the weekend and thought the jacuzzi and communal bar areas etc. would be perfect. The host was extremely helpful throughout the booking process and even offered to upgrade us to a larger property as the property we had originally booked was getting some maintenance work done. We had direct contacts to the host and could call at any time if we had any issues and was assured someone would be there to help. The property was perfect for our group, lots to do, lots of space, lovely and clean, helpful hosts, private parking and the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna etc. was just the cherry on top. Couldn’t fault this place at all.l! We will be sure to keep this in mind if we ever have family visiting again!

A great place to stay with family while in Ayrshire to watch the Open Golf at Troon. The house is very homely, decorated and furnished to a high standard with all of the amenities you will need. One of the beds is a sofa bed but I can speak from the experience of spending 7 nights in it to say that it is very comfortable for one person. There is very ample parking. The cottage is accessed via a couple of miles of narrow lanes which adds to its charm and sense of remoteness with lots of wildlife to see along the way. Laura was a great host and supportive while not being intrusive and made it clear that she was there if we needed anything. In summary a great place to stay if you are heading to beautiful South Ayrshire.

A really brilliant cottage, great location, the kitchen was well equipped and the welcome pack was a lovely touch! The wood burning stove was perfect for the evenings and the big windows/doors meant we had fantastic views of the forest and the sea. I couldn’t recommend here enough and hope to return with my grandad - as it has wide doorways and a slope to the entrance with no steps. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms spotless! Can’t wait to come back!

This was a cosy cottage stay for the wife & I whilst visiting family. Everything was as per the photographs and the instructions left by Chris were clear, concise & accurate. He was readily available to answer any questions we may of had.. although it was so straight forward we didn't need to get in touch. If you're looking for somewhere clean, comfortable & cosy for a weekend away, this is the ideal spot! Thanks to Chris & Iona.

A group of us stayed at Jeanfield farm to celebrate a friends 40th birthday. It was very clean and the beds were really comfy. Kitchen was really functional and spacious - we cooked a roast dinner with no issues! and we really enjoyed the garden and the hot tub. Thanks for a lovely weekend Katie!

Stayed here as we were attending the races. Location for this could not have been better! Lovely place on a quiet street, will definitely book again if we are ever back at the races!

We loved this lodge. It was the perfect location for a reunion of our families. The house was ideal for all the kids who played a lot of hide and seek. The living spaces were comfortable and the kitchen was a great set up for the big family meals. The aga kept us all cosy and we didn't need the heating on. Enough bedroom options and bathrooms for everyone to kick back and relax with smaller kids in interconnecting rooms where they felt near but still independent. Stranraer isn't really that far away if you need medical care or more food but the Morrisons drop off worked well. Highly recommended!
