Vacation rentals with beach access in South Ayrshire

The apartment is very nice and it is like on the photos. Catherine is a very nice person . I can totally recomnend it.

What a great place to stay; the view is stunning, so relaxing. I requested to stay longer but someone else beat me to it unfortunately; I should imagine this property is very popular. Richard was a fantastic host and couldn't do more to be helpful. Many thanks.

I booked Victoria’s place for two nights for myself, best man & groomsmen as I was getting married at the Brig O’Doon. Victoria’s place was ideal and very well situated. It is only a ten minute walk from the Brig and had an iron, ironing board etc. very useful for pressing the night before 😂 Parking is ample for 2 cars or more & it was really easy to check in. Beds were comfortable & the outside spaces are pleasant - would stay there again.

We had such a wonderful stay and can’t thank Susan enough for being such a fantastic host. She was incredibly communicative ... quick to respond, helpful in every way, and honestly, she couldn’t have done more to make our stay any better. The accommodation itself was absolutely lovely ... spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed and more for a relaxing break. The location is just brilliant ... surrounded by great restaurants, cafes, and bars, and only a very short walk from the beautiful seafront. Troon is such a special place to visit, and staying here made it even better. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-located getaway with a truly exceptional host. Thank you, Susan!

We had a brilliant stay and loved the amazing views. The apartment is bigger in person and really well laid out. Everything was clean and comfortable with some essentials provided in the fridge which was a nice touch. It was great having a bistro next door too when we wanted to eat out on our last night. The weather was mixed so we didn’t get to enjoy the wrap around balcony as much as we hoped but you can still enjoy the views from the warmth and comfort of the seating indoors. Would recommend and definitely come back.

Lovely place to bring our two dogs for an overnight stay and we all felt right at home. Plenty of on street parking near the flat and a very short walk to the promenade. Due to arriving late afternoon we didn’t get to see much more of Troon but we will be back and would recommend Emma’s apartment to anyone visiting the area :)

Joanna made my booking and stay stress free and surprised us with a lovely thoughtful welcome gift. The caravan was immaculate and spacious for us to have a relaxing few days celebrating family.

So glad we found this gem ! Perfect for our short stay while visiting family in Ayr. Beautiful and generously spaced property stylishly furnished. It was the cleanest Airbnb we have stayed at so far. Little touches (coffee, tea etc) were very much appreciated. Marcus was very responsive and communicated brilliantly. We felt very at home here and will hopefully be back.

The house was everything we wanted and more. Even more beautiful and cosy than it appears in the photos. The level of cleanliness was exceptional as was the level of comfort. Geraldine was lovely and extremely flexible and helpful. Everything was within walking distance - both the town and the beach. My mother has mobility issues and a huge advantage of Geraldine’s place is that everything is on one level. The kitchen is huge and has everything you would have in your own home. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated (as was the entire house) and the beds were comfortable. Having two bathrooms was a real bonus. 10/10 on all fronts. We’ll be back!

A spacious period family home, tastefully furnished and very well equipped. The highlight is the conservatory, giving a panoramic view of Lamlash Bay. We enjoyed sitting in comfortable surroundings watching seals on the shore. Only 15 minutes stroll to the peer and local amenities, including the Co-Op. And just 10 minutes drive from the ferry terminal while also located in a quiet spot. We love Arran and highly recommended this property!

Stayed at the house for 2 nights with my daughter and my mum. The house was exactly what we were looking for. We had a brilliant few nights away in this cosy, relaxing wee home.

This is a very nice place to stay in Troon. Quiet, on the water front, with beautiful surroundings. My boys and I loved the welcoming baked treats laid out on the counter for our arrival. I would definitely stay here again when we return to the area. Thank you to whoever for opening your home…

Spent a very relaxing 4 day weekend here. The house was gorgeous, big and roomy, and if you like historical houses interest you, it had an abundance of original features which were fantastic to see. Despite how big the house and rooms are, it was very warm and cosy. the master bedroom had a sneaky view of the sea and Ailsa Craig, with bed being very warm & comfortable. the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need, with a very large back garden if you wanted to spend time outdoors. Hilda was very quick to respond to messages and Alastair had a lot of information about the history of the house and the boat yard, which I found very interesting. They were both very accommodating when traffic meant I didn't get there til almost 10pm on the guest night. This was a really great place to stay and I would love to go back and stay again. The photos and description don't do this lovely house justice. Fantastic location right on the seafront. Amazing to watch the changing weather and kitesurfers put on a free show in wild weather! Comfortable house with everything we needed. The back garden is beautiful with lovely planting and pretty lighting after dark. Database a friendly and helpful host and we would recommend this as a place to stay for a family or a few friends.

Great location, exactly what we were looking for! Check in/out was a breeze. Short walk to many restaurants and pubs.

Stayed here a few times before, clean and tidy place, easy booking, good comms from the host, will book again when next in the area.

We hugely enjoyed our stay here. The flat was even more beautiful in person and came fully fitted with everything you could need. The entrance was safe and secure and it was a perfect stay. I would highly recommend it!

This was by far the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The location is absolutely stunning. It’s a short 10 minute walk to the Main Street where you’ll find lots restaurants, pubs and shops and great public transportation. Valerie was a wonderful, responsive host. The flat had everything I needed and then some. I can’t say enough about how wonderful my stay was and I’d stay there in a heartbeat when I visit again. Thanks Valerie for everything. Lesley. 10/10
