Beachfront vacation rentals in South Ayrshire

Second stay at Liz’s place. We were happy with it on the first stay but the second proved we were right to go back. Everything you need for a home from home. Ideal location. Close to town and beach. Everything in the house is quality. Very comfortable all round. Facilities are easy to use. Good restaurants and bars very close, also not far from the train station. We were in Glasgow within the hour. We had a lovely break this time as well. Look forward to the next time.

Had another very comfortable stay, home from home, with fantastic views of the Ayrshire coastline. David and Una being superb hosts throughout my stays here. Can highly recommend

The Best Monday-to-Friday break we have had in Years. It is in a Great Location, easy to find & overlooks the Water. what more could you need?

The cottage is in a great location, it was clean and had everything we needed. Nick and Helena were easy to get in touch with and really helpful whenever we needed anything.

We had a lovely stay at Gillian’s caravan , it had everything we needed and the communication with Gillian was great .

Lovely place to bring our two dogs for an overnight stay and we all felt right at home. Plenty of on street parking near the flat and a very short walk to the promenade. Due to arriving late afternoon we didn’t get to see much more of Troon but we will be back and would recommend Emma’s apartment to anyone visiting the area :)

Replacement flat was great. Parking on request was a bonus. Great location. Comfortable and has everything we needed.

A spacious period family home, tastefully furnished and very well equipped. The highlight is the conservatory, giving a panoramic view of Lamlash Bay. We enjoyed sitting in comfortable surroundings watching seals on the shore. Only 15 minutes stroll to the peer and local amenities, including the Co-Op. And just 10 minutes drive from the ferry terminal while also located in a quiet spot. We love Arran and highly recommended this property!

Great location, exactly what we were looking for! Check in/out was a breeze. Short walk to many restaurants and pubs.

Stayed here a few times before, clean and tidy place, easy booking, good comms from the host, will book again when next in the area.

Fantastic location. The view from the window was stunning! Property as described and had everything we needed for a short stay. Hosts Lindsay & Charlie were friendly and communication was good. Log burner was good keeping the downstairs space warm and there were a plentiful supply of logs. Lamlash is a nice village with a few pubs/ eateries. There is a Coop too which is handy for supplies and the ferry terminal at Brodick is less than 10 minutes away. Brodick has a larger supermarket, several shops and eateries too. We had perfect weather which definitely made for a great break! We are looking forward to visiting Arran again!

This was by far the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. The location is absolutely stunning. It’s a short 10 minute walk to the Main Street where you’ll find lots restaurants, pubs and shops and great public transportation. Valerie was a wonderful, responsive host. The flat had everything I needed and then some. I can’t say enough about how wonderful my stay was and I’d stay there in a heartbeat when I visit again. Thanks Valerie for everything. Lesley. 10/10

Excellent service and availability. The first flat we booked experienced boiler problems, but despite it being the weekend, the proprietor was easy to contact and facilitated a new flat at no extra cost. We experienced super and understanding service. We would definitely rent again.

This is a very nice place to stay in Troon. Quiet, on the water front, with beautiful surroundings. My boys and I loved the welcoming baked treats laid out on the counter for our arrival. I would definitely stay here again when we return to the area. Thank you to whoever for opening your home…

We had a very comfortable stay. The cottage was beautifully decorated and very homely which was what we wanted after a long day of walking / sightseeing. Arran is a beautiful island and the cottage is in a great location for exploring it.

What a wonderful place to stay, right on the beach and with lots of room for friends / family. Very well furnished and high quality. A perfect location either for the golf or just for a few days enjoying Troon. Thanks, June!

Bentfield is a fabulous place to stay in a beautiful location. There was more than enough space for our extended family. We particularly enjoyed the outside (but covered) seating area for a BBQ and of course the hot tub. The house has everything you will need for a great holiday.

Couldn’t fault our stay at Silverbank. Andrew was so helpful and accommodating from the get go! The house itself is stunning with an unobstructed view of the water which was beautiful to wake up to even on a windy day. We stayed as a family with extended family staying in other properties but because the house was so spacious we were able to host most meals in Silverbank which was a great way to spend more time together with the family! The kitchen is more than well equipped with coffee machines to blenders!! The overall standard of the place was amazing the beds and bed lined was nicer than most hotels and the place was absolutely spotless. We would love to visit again!

The whole family loved the location, the house, the garden, the views and access to the beach. Very quirky and interesting home with great accommodation for our numbers. It took us a while to locate everything in both house and garden but that was part of the fun of it especially for the children.
