Annes pre-trip instructions were detailed and accurate, whilst Rodney was the perfect host. He visited us on arrival at the Log Cabin, where we had an extensive discussion about the history and layout of the property. This was a very friendly place to visit, especially for those wanting peace and quiet in a forest atmosphere. Whilst the Log cabin was rustic in style, it also had everything one needed for a quiet getaway. Everything worked well, right down to matches and dry firewood for the wood-burning stove! What a pleasure!

Kim was truly amazing - warm and friendly. The check-in process was seamless and effortless. The property itself is stunning, filled with natural light and radiating peace and tranquility. Its proximity to the beach is the icing on the cake. The place is a must-stay destination for anyone seeking serenity and beauty.

Serene and beautiful escape from the city and town. Ideal for just relaxing with a good book and resetting. Lovely nature and birds all around. Walking trial with the river only a couple of meters walk from the cabin. The road is a bit rough and the road works to get to the destination is a bit of a pain. I am sure once the road is fixed it will be an easy and smooth drive though.

We loved the stay at the cabins. Everything we needed was there. To note that the area is very cold, but lovely fire in the cabin!

Die wunderschöne Unterkunft von Dion war ein Traum! Ruhig gelegen, mit einem traumhaften Blick, genau der richtige Ort zum Entspannen und für Naturlieber*innen. Mit dem Auto kommt man in circa 10 Minuten in die Stadt. Besonders gut hat uns der eigene Garten und die Feuerstelle gefallen. Dion ist ein toller Gastgeber und war immer für uns da. Große Empfehlung!

Fun, perfect and delightful - a must visit.

Had a breathtakingly amazing stay at Sabrina’s property. It’s the perfect getaway for couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle of Joburg. The property itself is gorgeous and the nature everywhere absolutely elevated the experience. My partner & I easily rate this place a solid 10/10; I lowkey wanted to gatekeep it cause it’s so stellar however it wouldn’t be fair to others. Sabrina, once again thank you.

Le logement chez Jill et Kye est dépaysant et original dans sa décoration ! Si vous aimez le mode camping / feu de camp vous aimerez cet endroit. Si vous préférez le confort et le luxe, n’y séjournez pas car ce n’est pas le concept des lieux. Nous y avons logé 1 nuit en août à 5 - 2 adultes et 3 adolescents (18/16/14) et nous avons apprécié le temps que nous y avons passé. En soirée, Martin nous a aidé pour allumer un feu pour que nous puissions cuisiner un « Braai » (BBQ). Malheureusement les vagues étaient trop fortes et nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de tester le surf. Par contre, les dunes sont à 10 min de marche depuis le logement et la mer encore à un bon 10 min. Du moins à l’aller. Il faut plus de temps pour revenir car les dunes sont hautes !!!

Ryan’s cabin is the epitome of simple luxury. It is spotless, well-kitted, and has been expertly decorated with contemporary finishes. We felt really immersed in the ambience. The cabin is hidden within a beautifully forested suburb, and is far enough from town to feel quiet and secluded but close enough for the convenience of shops and restaurants. Trust Ryan’s recommendations! We had an excellent meal thanks to his restaurant suggestion.

We had a very nice stay, very beautiful and peaceful place to be in. We enjoyed every bit of the trip The host was also very helpful and caring, nice place and definitely worth a second visit.

Absolutely stunning view, very comfortable bed and the perfect place to be for a quiet weekend away. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Nono hat uns herzlich empfangen und sich stets um alles gekümmert. Die Sauberkeit und Ordnung waren beeindruckend, was unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machte. Das Haus selbst war ein wahres Schmuckstück, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und harmonisch in die Natur integriert. Besonders magisch war die Tierwelt direkt am Haus, die uns oft besuchte. Franz und Germaine waren großartige Gastgeber und haben unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht! Wir kommen gerne wieder und werden das Jabulani allen unseren Freunden empfehlen.

A beautiful and peaceful location. Very private. Warm welcome from host who lives next door and therefore easy to check in and access property. Having our own balcony with view of the river and estuary below was very special and a perfect spot to watch the birds. The 56 steps up to the accommodation were ok for us but could be challenging for less able visitors. Easy parking in front of the property at the bottom of the stairs.

A truly magical and peaceful venue, that exceeded all expectations. It is well worth the visit. !!

Cute and fun. Meets the description of a treehouse tent! We were grateful for the heated bed because it was a chilly night.

Wanted to escape from the hustle & bustle of the City, stunning little cabin in nestled right in the mountain & so beautifully lush & green with an absolutely stunning view of the dam. Super quiet & exactly what we needed. Lovely finishes in the cabin. Well worth. Host was super responsive. Lovely place, will definitely be back ❤️
