we stayed in valogne 3 nights comfortable bedding. spacious and bright accommodation. parking spaces below the window all along the street. a creperie at the end of this street (attention booking recommended as renowned) well thought out welcome booklet! shops and restaurants + supermarket/ fuel nearby. we did the landing beaches/ barfleur/museum/cemeteries: route 1944: our heritage! Julien is very responsive.

My wife, my children and I had a lovely time at the Refuge. It's a beautiful house, very well decorated, very clean. The bedding is great. And having a Nordic bath and sauna is really very nice. Last thing: 5/5 for the responsiveness and kindness of the host. I would highly recommend it!

I originally booked for two nights but decided to extend my stay by another two nights. Vincent was quick to reply to my request and the extra booking was made very promptly. The house was beautiful, very well equipped throughout and spacious but the garden was the 'star of the show' with views across the countryside. During my stay, Vincent had heard about a possible problem with power in the area. He emailed to check that we were fine and whether we had had a problem - which we had not. The Super-U supermarket and petrol station are conveniently located just a few minutes away and it was handy to have a generous off-road parking space (actually 2) just a few feet from the front door. There is just one word of caution - the stairs up to the first floor are quite steep and the top step is just a little narrower than the others. Not a problem as there is a handrail but just something to be aware of. Otherwise, thank you Vincent, for a lovely stay in your beautiful home.
