Guesthouse vacation rentals in Sønderborg Municipality

The vacation home is part of an old farmhouse and has been beautifully restored. As it were, you will be catapulted back in time , but then very comfortable with all amenities , even air conditioning is available. Upon arrival, there was a bouquet of flowers on the table and fresh eggs in the fridge. We were warmly welcomed by Julie and shown around the cottage. At the back of the cottage is a nice terrace. Faaborg is nearby and definitely recommended, cozy town with shops and restaurants. Beautiful region for biking and hiking.

What a lovely spot. Peaceful and rural. Close to woods, beach, footpaths and a 1st class butchery and artisanal shop. Not a main road in sight or earshot. Small farm with tractors, chickens, veg, jams and preserves. Christmas tree plantation going doe to the fjord. Get the idea? It’s the real deal for those who want to get away from it all.

Although we regrettablyhad to cut short our stay (for family reasons, nothing at all to do with the property or owners!), the house and surroundings were entirely up to our expectation. The clean, tidy and fully-equipped for our purposes, house is cosy and conducive to a relaxing holiday, nestling in peaceful surroundings with simple essential ameneties within reasonable distance. What more could you want?

Very cute accommodation, small with all spaces well utilised. Courtyard, however not very private as the owners have windows into it. The hosts are very friendly and happily give local insight. Free public parking is just across the road on the harbour parking lot. We were there end of May and we found a spot. I’m doubtful it’ll be that easy once the season starts. The location is great, walkable to old town, restaurants and ferry harbour. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

I immediately felt welcome and comfortable. Lars is very nice and the place is extremely charming. The bathroom is very small, but works wonderfully. At night, it is extremely quiet. In the morning you can hear the preparations in the kitchen of the ice cream parlor, which is just one room away. But that didn't bother me. By the way, the ice cream is delicious. I found the island, especially Ærøskøbing, stunning. I had a great time and would check in again immediately. Hopefully soon again.

We had a wonderful time in Broager! Vibeke's apartment is very nice-super clean, very spacious, very well equipped (especially the kitchen had everything you need for self-catering), the view from the balcony is very nice and complete peace! Great with toddler, a high chair was on site and there would have been an extra bed if needed. We would be happy to recommend the place!

We had a lovely family holiday . The sea is directly accessible and the surrounding area offers a lot of nature to unwind. Since we were on vacation in April, we also enjoyed using the fireplace and sauna. Our questions were also answered directly by the host. We had a great time and will definitely come back.

We had five lovely days at Solbjerggaard. The apartment was tastefully decorated and there was a really large and lovely garden that we used extensively. Marie-Louise made sure we felt welcome from start to finish. One of the best places we've visited! The area has a lot to offer with nature, beach, wine places etc.

We were five women with 7 dogs. The place was delicious, Sandra was very friendly and the surroundings just perfect.

The place was a wonderful retreat for 2 days for me. The rooms are in the basement, but very homely and lovingly furnished. Everything was as described. You share a bathroom with the owners. My highlight was the underfloor heating in the bathroom😌. I would come back!!

With Sabine and Hans Christian, it was not only beautiful but unique. Wonderful hosts! You can completely forget everyday life there in Vester Skerninge, because it is something completely different, 12 days without TV and radio. If you need it, you should bring a tablet, there is WiFi in the house. Five stars are still not enough! If it can be arranged again, then it's time to go to Vester Skerninge! Andrea, Frank and Mike

Very nice, friendly host Stein, helped with everything. The cottage is nice, comfortable, nice. The city is wonderful, with access by car and bicycle. Completely good value for money.

The very cozy apartment in the beautifully renovated thatched old farmhouse immediately put us in a vacation mood. The rooms were very tasteful and lovingly furnished. The equipment, for example in the small kitchenette, is carefully selected and is in very good condition. We slept very well in the bed. The spacious property with many cozy seats invites you to relax. Marie-Louise was super friendly and very helpful, just a great hostess! We would spend our vacation here again. Simply great! My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Margit's home. The home is in the countryside, peace and relaxation, breakfast in the sun, dinner in the sun, if we wanted to eat outside. Well-equipped kitchen, nice bathroom, two rooms with good beds, nice living room. We highly recommend a stay with Margit.
