Anno 1871 is a stunning property that feels frozen in time—until you step inside and find a beautifully modernized interior finished to the highest standard. Despite the updates, it retains its charm and character. Nestled in the countryside, it offers peace while being just a six-minute drive to the nearest shop and an excellent base for exploring Denmark—45 minutes to Lalandia and an hour to Billund. The nearby beach is breathtaking. The wilderness bath is a must. Tucked away in the courtyard, it is perfect for unwinding. Host Stefan went above and beyond, even preheating it before our arrival. A minor heating issue was resolved instantly, and he generously offered unlimited logs. Though near working farms, don’t let that put you off—this place is a hidden gem. If you seek tranquillity with modern comforts, I highly recommend Anno 1871. We will definitely return!

A great week in Denmark has come to an end - cozy, clean accommodation with really everything you need. Very nice, large garden and the option to turn on the oven - just great. It was a very nice stay, wonderful communication and I'd love to come back.
