Clean, modern, comfortable apartment.

We absolutely loved our stay! The location was perfect—close to a variety of tours, great places to eat, and local attractions. One of our favorite spots, El Salto (the rope swing), was just a 5-minute walk away! The space itself was cozy, comfortable, and very welcoming. We especially enjoyed spotting hummingbirds around the property and catching views of the volcano on clear days—such a treat! Everything about our stay was incredible. The only small note is that the place provides two body towels, which may be a bit limiting for longer stays. It’s also helpful to bring your own quick-dry towels for excursions, as the provided ones aren’t allowed outside the property. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience and we’d definitely come back!

¡Recommended! The apartment is very nice, comfortable and clean. The jacuzzi is beautiful, the air-conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. The parking lot is very spacious. The attention we received was excellent, very helpful and kind.

We loved this stay! The place it self is beautiful, very clean, quiet and private. They have thought of everything to help make your stay comfortable and relaxing. We loved the AC was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and there is a beautiful path down to the water we really enjoyed walking. We especially appreciated the host, who helped us translate when we almost missed a guided tour, he gave us directions and talked on the phone with our agency. It was so helpful!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The balcony is the true highlight—perfect for watching wildlife. We spotted 54 bird species on the property, including the charismatic Three-wattled Bellbird, watched a troop of nine monkeys, and even saw a compost-diving coati—all from the comfort of the balcony. The hosts were fantastic at communicating, and the lodging was clean, comfortable, and exactly as pictured. All the amenities and equipment worked perfectly, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals for a week. There’s also a small grocery and bakery conveniently located across the street. The location is excellent—within a 10-minute walk you’ll find Curi Cancha Reserve, Bajo del Tigre, the Monteverde Waterfall, and the Crandall Reserve, which is accessible directly from the property. There is some occasional road noise from motorcycles and milk trucks, but the incredible wildlife and comfort more than make up for it. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a front-row seat

Absolutely LOVED our stay here. Felt right at home, beautiful surroundings and views, very close market, short drive to town, and close to the must see/do activities. Would definitely recommend to anyone and stay here again. Anyone on the fence, just book it, you will not be disappointed!

This location was great if you want to stay close but not too close to La Fortuna. The house is very private and clean. We highly recommend if you want to stay somewhere peaceful with minimal foot traffic.

Daiana’s home was wonderful. We only spent 24 hours in Monteverde and we are so glad we chose this house. Our host was accommodating with a late check out, always responsive, the house is well appointed and it was such a beautiful place. Loved our time here! Phenomenal view!

It was a very nice experience, the house is equipped with everything you need. Also, having a grill in the house is perfect for sharing a barbecue with the family, very clean and tidy. I would have loved a blender, but everything else was excellent.

Very nice house. Clean and family friendly. Kitchen is nice. There are a lot of bugs in the rain forest so keep the windows closed! Coming from Florida USA so bugs are normal, but if you are not use to the tropics then bring bug spray for mosquitos. If you are from CR, like my partner, then you already know to keep doors and windows shut especially at night. AC was nice to have after a long day of being outside. Very close to hot springs. The markets and restaurants are great. Overall this place is really nice for a chill small group of people. This stay made our small family reunion feel comfortable and complete. It was 6 and 1/2 of us (1 baby) but this place is actually bigger than we thought. Very spacious and more than enough bed space. House keeping rules are simple. AC off when you leave the house to save for the environment! I hope who ever reads this has a great time like we did! Thank you John and Tati for your great hospitality.

The most incredible view! One of the best locations we have ever stayed for sunsets, dramatic views, and wildlife. Wonderful hosts. I will add...this is a great place for explorers. It's not ideal for high maintenance folks. There are bugs, that get into the house. There's no AC - although the fans and mountain air made it comfortable for us. Very remote - amazing if that floats your boat - be ready to drive for any stores/restaurants etc. Overall, highly recommend 5 stars. If you're looking for luxury, look somewhere else.

Truly a home away from home with hospitality that is unmatched. We were astounded by the this beautiful Airbnb , immaculate and well stocked including a full washer and dryer which was a godsend. It is evident that Josh and Yer pour in their hearts to make their place an oasis of comfort and kindness. They gave the clearest instructions to access the home with helpful photos. They left us snacks, sodas, and coffee and that was such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. We felt so welcomed. I wish all Airbnb hosts had their proactive care! They set the bar high! Where can I start....This is my first time to La Fortuna and we had a great vacation with the help of Gregory. Gregory's is a great host and his property is one of a kind which suits well for La Fortuna environment with lot of nature to enjoy inside his property. He helped in almost everything including recommending a nice Chef Gabriel.

A small, cozy space, but above all very clean and tidy.

Found our stay at the apartment comfortable and enjoyable. The place was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms were spacious and the mattresses comfortable as were the sofas in the living space. It was an ideal location for our base for the week, close to town and restaurants, but also perfect as a sanctuary from some spectacular rain and thunderstorms that would roll in. We never really used the kitchen for cooking but it had all the amenities. The shower had good water pressure and hot water if needed. Our hosts were very friendly and responsive to any questions. If we needed it, fresh towels and sheets were available as was a tidy and clean of the garbage and bathroom from the helpful lady who worked there. We stayed for just over a week and would happily return and recommend to others.

It is a very nice condominium and fits a family of 5 to 6 people very well equipped and all functional. Very comfortable beds and each room with its own bathroom. We will definitely be back at any time. Thank you for your hospitality.
