We had a lovely stay over Christmas. The place is quiet, intimate, clean, and modern. We were hit with a heat wave while staying and our host, Duncan, was quick to organise us an extra fan when we requested. We will definetly be back and recommend to others 😃😃

Really neat and modern apartment which is conveniently located near shops and restaurants and just a stone throw away from an amazing beach, a highly recommended place to stay if you’re planning a trip to the Somerset/Strand area.

The house is perfectly located with the most amazing views of Gordon’s bay and Strand. The farm is beautiful and private. The house has everything you need in a home away from home. I would love to come back and stay a few more months at this peaceful beautiful sanctuary. Penny is a perfect host and always responsive and considered. Would gladly return for future stays.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable, very well equipped large room. Lots of nice touches like shampoo, milk, rusks and drink in the fridge as a welcome. Easy 10 min drive to Radloff park and the Somerset West Croquet club

This accommodation was perfect for our needs. It was clean, comfortable and extremely homely. Kim went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The location is very convenient for exploring the surrounding areas. We'd highly recommend Kim's place!

3 Nächte Anfang März verbrachten wir in dieser modernen, geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichteten Wohnung und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Empfangen hat uns nicht Marietje, sondern ihre Tochter Mione, die dort inzwischen mit ihrem Mann und zwei Kindern nebenan im Erdgeschoss wohnt. Der Kontakt und die Kommunikation mit Mione war sehr gut. Der Ort, Strand und vor allen Dingen der Strand selber war für uns eine positive Entdeckung. Die Lage der Wohnung ist optimal. Wir können Sie uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Katie’s place was perfect for our stay. It was safe and secure and all the little extra touches were appreciated. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend.

The host was so kind and availed himself on text and call throughout our stay. The place was just as described, easy to access and the beach view made it entirely worth it. At the end of the trip De Walt even went further to extend his kindness by allowing us to stay a few more hours since our flight was only scheduled to take off later that day. Overall a fabulous experience, made the graduation weekend extra festive. Would recommend this cozy place to anyone, any day!🌻

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend at Simone and Arno’s place. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly friendly and responsive. Simone gave us a warm welcome and took the time to walk us through everything, which was super helpful. The place itself is beautiful—neat, tidy, and thoughtfully set up. The hot tub was a highlight for us, and we really appreciated Arno going the extra mile to set it up. It was the perfect way to relax and unwind. The location is fantastic— close to the beach and close to food stores, yet still so peaceful and quiet. It truly felt like a getaway. We’d happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

We stayed here for a chess Tournament at Hottentots Hollander high school. The home was perfectly located, just a 10 minute drive to the school and close to the beach, lots of restaurants and shopping centers. My wife and I worked during the week, there are plenty of work spaces, and high speed internet for video calls or for streaming Netflix, although the TV was also available for that. We did bring our own Rain router though and had perfect signal. The master bedroom had an en suite and the other bedroom had two beds with its own large bathroom. The aircon helped with the hot afternoons and we did make use of the kitchen area for cooking and the laundry area for a load. Jillian was a perfect host, anticipated our needs and communicated well. It was a pleasure staying here. Would do it again if we’re ever in Somerset in future.

Mosaic Flat was the perfect location for a longer stay in Somerset area. Lotte & Josh very welcoming, informative and wonderful communication. Apartment is good size, clean, quiet & well equipped. Area is secure and accessible to touring greater Cape town area, shopping & sporting activities. Perfect for “Base” while travelling to other areas of the country. The pool is great for cooling down after those hot summer days. Very reasonably priced and highly recommend Helderberg Heights.

This was our best stay out of all the air bnbs we’ve been to! My husband and I are people persons and Ilsa is honestly one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. She went above and beyond making sure our stay was pleasant and comfortable and that we had everything we needed. We really loved just having conversations with her. Also, the place was super, super clean and I am a stickler for clean so I REALLY appreciated this! I highly recommend staying here!

The stay at the villa was very wonderful and the owner of the villa, Catherine, was very kind and helpful. The villa is private and has everything you need.

Stunning stress free stay! Incredible large balcony on the lower level and easy access to the rooftop’s pristine pool, jacuzzi, lounges and breathtaking views! Walkable to beach restaurants shops. Chill area with a near empty beach! Easy to use kitchen and comfy bed! Twas a truly relaxing restful time spoiling my mother 🤗. Will bring the whole family next time!

We absolutely loved our stay in the Strand and this funky, design-rich studio ticked all the boxes. Dave and Annelise are the type of hosts/people that I would love to just have a glass of wine with, and it meant so much that they both came to personally let us in and welcome us, even though it was after 10pm! Our only regret is that we only had two short nights…

Some lovely extras we did not expect a wood fired hot tub and a lovely breakfast made the stay extra memorable.

The place was easy to find and security at the gate were quite helpful. We had alloted parking spaces close to the lift. The apartment itself is quite spacious and well furnished. The place was quite clean and tidy. Polly was very friendly and she even helped us figure out how to operate some of the amenities. Maddy was quite responsive and helpful. Communication was clear and easy. The apartment is located very close to canal walk, the food court is about 5 minutes away on foot, and supermarkets are close as well. The whole area is quite safe and I could easily take a walk at night. The WiFi was reliable and accessible from all the rooms. The kitchen was well equipped, we were able to cook a whole meal on the first night itself. There are two balconies and the view is very nice, with table mountain as backdrop. The area is also quite peaceful and quiet.
