Louise was a truly wonderful and hospitable host who made us feel right at home. The Weinhütte is exactly as advertised — peaceful, well-equipped, and perfect if you're after tranquil mountain views, relaxing on the balcony, or enjoying a proper “lekker braai” using the built-in grill. The Airbnb is located on Louise’s gated property within a secure estate, offering both privacy and peace of mind. While the nearby horse farm means occasional flies, it's manageable — though a fly zapper lamp indoors might help minimize them. Overall, a lovely stay with thoughtful amenities and a host who genuinely cares. Thank you, Louise!

Tim is simply the best host and beyond that a remarkable person to meet. He made our stay at his place a joyful experience we now long to repeat. The house is perfectly located and has the most beautiful sunset view from the region. Also completely furnished. Our two months there working and exploring as digital nomads was filed with everything we needed. Internet, comfort, kitchen, communication, location, maintenance, support… 5 stars for every detail. Thank you for everything Tim! We hope to come back soon!

What a wonderful holiday! Betty's Bay is one of the most beautiful and peaceful destinations in South Africa. The mountains are breathtaking and the main beach is within walking distance. The house is simple, yet elegant and well equipped for any type of holiday. We will certainly miss the natural setting, the birds, the mountain and the beach.

We had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Wesley, the host, was welcoming, responsive, and made the entire process smooth from start to finish. The location was perfect - peaceful, yet conveniently close to everything we wanted to see and do in Stellenbosch. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend staying here!

There is nothing quite like falling asleep & waking up to the sounds of the sea. Rachelle's beach home is the epitome of South African West Coast style, especially the outside living area under the verandah. The inside is incredibly charming and every room is very well appointed. We enjoyed whiling away the hours, watching the world go by, waves rolling in, breathtaking sunsets followed by gazing at the Southern stars. Melkbos has a wide arrange of restaurants, most within walking distance and the supermarkets & shops are just 5 mins drive away for self catering options and sunset braai's. Whether you like to walk along the beach collecting shells or go surfing, the options are endless. The Swartland wine region is easily explorable from here as is central Cape Town. Such a wonderful relaxed environment, and next time we will be sure to stay for 2 weeks instead of just one.

What a stunning vacation property - a home away from home which is clean and fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The property has been tastefully decorated with an artistic flair and Tuscan look and feel. Vanessa has taken the time to ensure guest satisfaction by adding all the little extras (books, games, condiments and basic toiletries, as well as treats and bedding for pets). Our dogs were able to explore the property safely as the entire perimeter of the house is fully secured. If you have binoculars, remember to bring them with so you can enjoy the abundance of birdlife and nature that inhabits the surrounding rocky areas. From a wonderful, sparkling pool on warm summer days to a scenic coastal walk to the Harbour, you can exercise yourself and fur babies as often as you like. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again in the near future. Thanks for all your efforts Vanessa which were greatly appreciated by all.

This was my second time staying with Marlise. Like before, everything was great. Two things stand out above the rest. First, the setting is one of the most thoughtful and beautiful that you will ever find. I could spend a month just relaxing near the pond and the garden. Second, when traveling, it’s always nice to be greeted by a ln enthusiastic and friendly host. Marlise, David, and their team do everything they can to make you feel welcome and to let the stress of travel melt away as soon as you arrive. Bravo! I hope to return.

This was deep exhale from the rush of everyday life. We spent slow mornings listening to the ocean and quiet evenings watching the sun set over False Bay. Our group of 8 had an incredible experience at this home located incredibly close to Johannesdal 1207 wedding venue (our reason for visiting Stellenbosch). Lieb and the staff were incredibly friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make our stay a comfortable and memorable one. The house is beautiful and the surroundings are stunning, and this property has some fantastic views on the walking trails. I highly recommend staying here for any trip to the Stellenbosch region!

What a fantastic, modern home with stunning views of the ocean and sunset. A great location and real gem of a place. The indoor pool and pool table, mixed with board games makes this the perfect escape for an extended family and Shaun is just a awesome person as well.
