Such a great place. Cupboards had essentials in and Val left us milk. 2 dressing gowns provided which I thought was lovely. Toiletries in bathroom. Great location , great host and great price!

Amanda's place was lovely and just as described. She has obviously gone to a lot of effort to make the place as welcoming as possible with lots of thought as to what people might need (books, games, toiletries, kitchen items etc) and has provided helpful detailed instructions.

A great place to stay to explore beautiful Exmoor. The second time we have stayed there its clean, cosy and comfortable with fabulous views of the coast and access to great walks.

We had such a lovely stay at this charming little cottage in Spaxton. It's super cosy and thoughtfully decorated, making it feel like a real home away from home. The beds were incredibly comfortable – we all slept so well! The garden is absolutely beautiful and adds to the peaceful, private feel of the place. It’s a wonderful spot to relax with a cup of tea or enjoy the fresh country air. The cottage had everything we needed for a short stay – well-equipped and very welcoming. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quiet and restful break in Somerset!

Communication for excellent, as was the home made cake waiting for us! Lovely country location. Property was very clean and tidy, with plenty of towels, for the bathrooms and hot tub. Plenty of info provided on local pubs, restaurants and things to do. Guided ghost walk in Bath was great fun!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Cider Barn. It was peaceful with beautiful views and we were lucky that the weather was good so we were able to make use of the pretty garden at the back. The house had a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed and a good shower. It was lovely to meet Sandra who was very friendly and the homemade oat cookies were delicious and much appreciated as were the eggs and milk. We would love to come and stay again in the future.

Lovely quiet spot to relax and unwind. Well situated to explore Tiverton, Exmoir and Knighthayes, not far from M5. Canal access at Halberton is worth seeking out. All amenities 15 mins away in Tiverton.

Excellent host, very friendly. Showed me around and recommended I visit the local pub for food. The barn is beautiful, quiet, very comfy furniture and the amenities were great.

Had a wonderful stay here on the farm, couldn't have asked for more! Trish was a fantastic, responsive and friendly host with lots of useful information about local points of interest! The old stables was so cozy, spotless and comfortable with everything we needed for a great weekend! It was so lovely to see, meet and feed the alpacas and goats on the farm. We had fresh eggs and milk provided as well as some treats and a beautiful welcome card! Would definitely recommend this location to anyone visiting the area and looking for a peaceful and unique stay!

Lovely home, spacious, modern, clean, and well equipped. Easy to find and Suzanne provides clear instructions and recommendations. Good parking. We used it as a base for a wedding at Stockbridge Farm Barn which is only a couple of minutes drive or under 20 minutes to walk. There is lots to do in the area (we visited Montacute House 25 mins away by car), and there are some nice walks from the house.

The Cook Barn is in a perfect location, so peaceful, yet within walking distance to the village and its shops and pub, and surrounded by wonderful countryside for walks. The décor of Cook Barn is a delight and we loved all the artwork and Moroccan artefacts. Richard was very welcoming and helpful, and provided us with all sorts of useful information about the village and its surrounds. A great place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment! It was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location was also perfect, with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly, and check-in was a breeze. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches and cosy atmosphere.

We fell in love with the house , location and facilities as soon as we arrived. It had everything we needed , the children loved it , from playing tennis, skittles to bar football and stories by the wood burner before bed. Everything was there for us, a separate table in the games room for arts and crafts and games to lovely comfortable furniture outside looking across to the sheep , the children loved the opportunity to be able to walk around the field with the sheep, with one of them saying "this is the best holiday ever" and another saying " this is the best day of my whole life". Helen and Paul’s place is the most beautiful and thoughtfully curated Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. This home truly goes above and beyond, every room is filled with beautiful, thoughtful touches that made our stay feel so special. From homemade sourdough bread waiting for us, to individual toiletries and everything you could possibly need already provided, it was clear how much care and love has gone into creating this space. The garden was absolutely stunning, with cozy, comfortable furniture perfect for relaxing. And the hot tub under the stars! Just magical. The entire stay felt like a peaceful retreat, and we left feeling completely recharged. Helen and Paul were the perfect hosts — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We can’t recommend this place highly enough.

My recent stay at this beautifully converted barn in rural Devon was exceptional and everything I needed. I tucked myself away in the private, remote setting of the barn which offered the perfect blend of seclusion, comfort, and countryside charm. I enjoyed waking up to the rustic features of the barn coupled with the modern amenities. The standout for me was the fireplace, which added to the already wonderfully cozy atmosphere on one of the cooler evenings. The hosts were warm, welcoming and very helpful with any questions, and I got to meet their incredibly friendly dogs who added a lovely, homely feel to the stay. I definitely want to go back and stay again.

I had my 60th birthday at the wheelwrights workshop,great base to explore from,the tor is visible from the bedroom window and we walked into town at least 3 times,its quite a walk but I managed it fine, quirky high street, good selection of pubs and food although we cooked back at the place on a couple of occasions the tor is a must,so is chalice well,the rifleman pub was the closest so we opted to do our drinking there mainly.very happy with my week away and certainly recommend it.

A beautiful place to stay. Stunning beams in the bedroom, very well restored, spotless modern bathroom with infa red sauna and electric shower. Lots of wildlife can be heard at night. Fantastic wood burner with under floor heating downstairs. Easy walk to Exford. Great village shop with all you need and 2 pubs. We drove to Withypool and walked to Tarr Steps which was an 8 mile round trip but a great excursion in glorious late February sunshine. Lovely view from the garden at the pub at Tarr Steps and the food was good too. We love Exmoor as it is an unspoilt gem with so much peace and nature to surround yourself in. Everyone you meet is friendly which also helps. Photos of this place do not do it justice!

We stayed for 4 days, Ava and Chris were very welcoming. Their cottage has a well stocked kitchen, they welcomed us with wine, bread, milk and butter as well as a lovely gift for each of my toddlers which was a lovely surprise! The beds are comfortable, there's lots of hot water for baths and showers. Location wise it's very easy to get to so many places. We have friends in Yeovil, visited Longleat and Weymouth. We'll certainly stay again. Luckily we checked the instructions in the guest book, you need to take out the rubbish and strip the beds upon leaving. all very straightforward instructions. Thank you for a lovely stay.

we had such a lovely stay at Burleyhayes barn. The weather was definitely on our side and we had a wedding to go to. The local villages and pubs were very welcoming, serving decent food. The house is beautiful with spacious bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms for comfort. well equipped kitchen. In all a great stay

Anna was there to greet us soon after we arrived. We had already seen photos of the accommodation and read descriptions, but I can only say it exceeded expectations. Perfect place to spend a week relaxing and exploring locally. The artisan cafe across the road was full of character and delicious homemade food. There is also a well stocked village shop on the northern outskirts. We hope to return. Thank you Anna.

The cottage is in the most idyllic location. Our eldest enjoyed the pool several times a day. The pool temperature is lovely and warm making it great for younger children. Harriet and her family were so helpful and welcoming and we would recommend a holiday here! The cottage has everything you need, is quite, modern and stunning views over the stream and gardens.
