Chalet vacation rentals in Sololá Department

A very cozy house! Ideal to rest with a large family as it has several rooms, definitely a plus the help of Don Pascual; the house is very well equipped, you can enjoy nature with a very nice gardens, the view of the lake impressive and the relaxing theme and Jacuzzi that adds 100 points to the house. Of course I want to return with my family.

We had a fabulous stay at Xenia's, and the staff at the house was super accomodating and professional. The house itself was spacious and well-equipped, and really felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed the large grounds and garden and had a wonderful time with our family in this home. We enjoyed the location in the busy town of Panajachel. It is a few blocks up from the market, which is quieter while still being accessible and walkable to the main busy points in town. Highly recommend!!

If you are looking for a private get away, camping type location this is the place for you. Few things if you are coming from the United States, no AC or washing, it gets hot but with the fans the sleep is ok. Make sure you go grocery shopping before you go in because food and restaurants are not easily accessible. The host Carlos will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy, he was the best host you can ask for and I would go back.

Great views, really spacious and comfortable. Very clean! Byron was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. I really like that recycling was in place. Strong wifi! We are two elder ladies so Byron made sure to help with carrying the suitcases. A real gentleman. The town is small and not very commercial. You wont find lots of tourists here. A great introduction to how Guatemalan live. Like most Atitlan towns, there are lots of steps and hills to climb, but you get used to it pretty quickly and there are tuc tucs around. There is a great little restaurant only a few steps away from the house, it has delicious homemade bread and fresh food to eat. Nestled in a bay, the town of Tzununa has lots of dogs, all are friendly. You can hear them at night as the sound echo travels. We highly recommend Byron's place!

We had a fantastic stay at the property . The scenery and setting of this property is just serene . We were a group of 10 with adults and kids . The kids loved the place so much that they refused to even leave the property . Had a very restful 3 days of Christmas . We stayed over the Christmas break and walked to a nearby local church for the midnight service . Don Miguel ,,George and Theresa ( the helpers on the property ) were always available and very helpful . I wanted to leave a word of appreciation for Sylvia . She is super helpful and very responsive . Was always available to answer questions and provide a lot of helpful recommendations . By far the best Airbnb host that I have interacted with . Overall a wonderful experience

The main house is a great spot for yoga, the kitchen is where I would spend the daylight hours, brightly coloured and airy. The outside space is very natural with trees, birdsong and squirrels. Bats at dusk. The lake is close for some spectacular views, the IMAP and nearby shop have everything you need for the kitchen. I enjoyed my time here 🙏🏼

This property is magical! We are a family of 6 adults and everything about our stay was smooth from check-in to checkout. David went above and above to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. He helped us arrange transfer from Antigua and boat transfer to San Juan and San Marcos. A shout out to Melvin, our shuttle driver, and Marco our boat driver. David was flexible with our checkout time and was quick to respond to my many, many questions. The grounds are stunning! You will not be disappointed. The views are breathtaking! We enjoyed walking around the exquisite grounds and jumping off the private dock into the refreshing lake. There are beautiful areas for yoga as well as workout equipment, which my son and son in law loved. The house is equipped with all the cooking essentials. Carlos is amazing and was available for anything we needed during our stay and set up a lovely fire for us one evening. My only regret was not booking this place longer.

Secluded, yet close to everything and very easy to catch a lancha to the other pueblos. The house is spacious, high ceiling and tasty furniture. A place you would want to live. And never leave. Dock is a bit high, but there’s a small «beach» just next to it where it’s nice to swim. Isla Verde next door has great food and nice ambient. Kristiina was super easy going and gave great advice. 10/10!

What a great stay! Our group of nine old friends took a short get away from California and left extremely pleased that we chose this property. The house, pool, and other amenities made for a great stay but the onsite staff made our visit perfect. Silvia and her family did everything they could to ensure none of our group had to do anything but simply enjoy our stay. Our host, Annis, was incredibly responsive and flexible contributing to our stay. We look forward to our next stay.

Home looked just like the photos and was very clean. My children enjoyed being surrounded by nature yet also so close to town. The kids appreciated having access to the hotel pool and lake. Natalia had recommendations for tuk tuk drivers, babysitters and cleaners. Thank you!

Our stay was so pleasant and quiet. The house matched the specifications provided, everything was tidy and very clean, the directions for arrival were clear and the location was accurate. I liked the privacy, as well as the style of the house. A few meters away, you have access to the lake. Cerro de Oro is a very quiet place; however, there are not many restaurants, so it is advisable to bring food. Fortunately, the house has the necessary utensils for the kitchen and dining room. In the bedroom area, the beds are super comfortable, you sleep comfortably! You feel right at home! José was very attentive and kind, he was always available during our stay. In addition, he gave us several recommendations to get to know the area, and we decided to visit Santiago La Laguna. Anecdote: On our last night, we found two small scorpions in the bedroom. Due to the beautiful nature that surrounds the house, I was not surprised, but it is important to take precautions.

We are very happy with our stay! Perfect location in a peaceful and beautiful setting. Go food and very relaxing. The host communicated well and quickly. Really recommend!
