There is a fabulous view from the cabin towards the island of Kinn in the northwest, a special brand and knowledge known as a sailing brand along the coast. To the south is the well-known viewpoint Brurastakken and the popular hiking island Alden also called Norske Hesten. With the cabin's motorboat you can go there and to Værlandet and Bulandet.
