Monthly Rentals in Smugglers Cove

We had an amazing stay! Harold was a great host, and we had great communication from him. We knew in advance everything we needed to know, and all the info he gave us was right on the money! It’s close enough to downtown Long Beach to walk, or to grocery shopping just a few blocks away. The bungalow was private and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there and spotless. If we had wanted to use it, a gas grill was provided, or even a charcoal grill. And charcoal was there, too! The host didn’t leave out a single thing you could want in my opinion! The neighborhood was very nice and quiet, too. This will be our go-to destination any time we come to Long Beach!! Thanks, Harold and Claire, for an amazing place we could call home away from home!!!

Was absolutely amazing, the place was pristine with a large yard for our dog. The owners of the place were extremely responsive and supplied us with a guide to local cuisine/attractions. Made sure we knew how and where to check in, was the best AirBnb experience myself and the wife have had.

This place was very comfortable and cute. We stayed for a month and had gotten used to the neighborhood and the closeness to the beach. They stocked the house with everything you’d need. We were able to go crabbing and to the beach. I would highly recommend.

Heidi puts the H in hospitality!!! She was super communicative but not in your face. She was a font of knowledge about the area but only offered when we asked or to help us solution/answer a question. Her and her husband were very flexible and worked with us to make our stay absolutely perfect. In the listing they mention the railroad crossing and the train. I have to say here, the train is a very soft background noise, and should not be a concern at all. My wife is a very light sleeper, and it did not bother her in the least bit. We were there for well over a month. This place is on a nice quiet cul-de-sac, where the neighbors are attentive but largely mind their own business. (If that makes sense). Walk out into the road In front of the house, look right, and you can see the gulf!!! Easy walk to toes in the water. Xtra perk…1 block to the left = a microbrewery.
