What a lovely place. Clean, comfortable and welcoming. we arrived and met Carol and Pete, who were lovely and friendly. Everything was as described. There weren't many pub open on a Monday, so we popped to Waitrose and bought some pizzas. So glad there was an oven in the premises. Would recommend to anyone, and wouldnt hesitate to stay again.

Riverside Retreat- Iris the bus

Enjoyed a weekend here and felt sad it was so short! Such a beautiful location, so peaceful. Had everything we needed, great little kitchen, lovely shower. Van was cosy from the rain! It was even more wonderful than expected, just can’t recommend enough if you want a true break away from the busy world and back in nature!

Werescote View - 1st Class Stunning Rural Setting

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Karen was the perfect host - communicative, flexible and friendly. She was responsive to any queries and flexible on our check-in time, meeting us in person to show us around. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and very peaceful! Karen left us a welcome basket of bread, milk, orange juice, cheese and jam which was fabulous! The kitchen was well-equipped (love the boiling tap!), bathrooms spotless with waterfall showers and a bathtub - as well as generous complimetary toiletries - and bedrooms very comfortable with lots of wardrobe/drawer space for clothes - including bathrobes and slippers!. The house and grounds are stunning, with such a wonderful view to wake up to each day. Werescote is a great base from which to get around Devon and we made good use of the nearby fast-charger for our EV at Cullompton Services. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend Karen to others.

Balmoral Country Cabin

It is our second stay at Tor and Laura’s place. We are working at nearby Coldharbour mill for the weekend . And this year this slightly smaller cabin was much nicer than the bigger one last year. Although I had one less bedroom, it was much more spacious. Lovely sitting area and comfy furniture. Beds are comfy and there is nice touches like hot water bottles and fan heater so you can get it warmed up quickly if it gets chilly. Well stocked kitchen and squeaky clean. Definitely recommend.
A spacious outdoor area is observed, featuring a gravel pathway and a manicured lawn. Lush greenery and trees frame the horizon, providing a serene view of rolling hills under a clear blue sky. A bench is positioned for enjoying the landscape.

The Devon cottage with character

Lovely cottage, would highly recommend. Lots of lovely personal touches, plenty of towels, well stocked bathroom, and very delicious homemade biscuits and cake on arrival. We only stayed 2 nights for a wedding but could happily have stayed longer.
