Monthly Rentals in Slipper Island / Whakahau

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. The view is beautiful and the house is very clean and neat. We had fun hiking up to Paku, which is easily accessible via a trail right next to the house. The shovel for Hot Water Beach was a bonus!

Rose’s place is magical! The views are stunning and the studio is so peaceful. We enjoyed listening to the kiwis call every night and the constant birdsong. It’s a great base for exploring the area and so tastefully decorated. We’ve stayed at a lot of airbnbs but this one stands out for its uniqueness and peaceful surrounds.

Despite the terrible weather we enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views and cosy accommodation. Julia was very helpful and a great host. Really appreciated the little extras like cheese and nibbles and ingredients for continental and cooked breakfast. Very convenient to walk into town…. highly recommend Paradise on Pines

Sigh....if we could have stayed here for two weeks instead of two nights, we would have. The view alone is incredible--we had a fantastic dinner with takeout pizza out on the deck, drinking wine and watching the sunset. The sunrises over Mt Paku are stunning even from the bedroom window let alone the deck--you don't even need to get out of bed. It was slightly difficult finding the place--make sure you read the instructions carefully as the turn off to the house is the one right before the actual street sign/street, but once you figure that out you're golden. Perfect location--very close to town including awesome restaurants and walkability to the beach etc. Fantastic place, we would love to come again! Book it now!
