Waterfront vacation rentals in Skye

Dot's place was perfect for our brief visit to Isle of Skye. Comfortable and had everything we needed. Walking distance to Portree restaurants. Dot was very responsive. Would stay again.

We spent three days at Daniel's place and it was perfect for staying in Fort William and accessing nearby areas such as Glencoe. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen and parking were great to have. Best was that we were a family of 4 with two teenaged children and everyone liked being independent. The location couldn't have been more walkable. Even though right in town, it was also quiet. The entry hallway could be spruced up a bit and better smelling but that's it! We had one issue when my daughter tripped a breaker with her hair dryer. A reminder to get a converter as well as an adapter if coming from the US. Daniel responded immediately with where the breaker panel was located.

What a lovely place! Surrounded by nature, it was the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect. The views from every window were stunning, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax. The property itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sarah was kind and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and welcoming. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and her warm hospitality really stood out. We’d love to return.

When we brought a dog, it was really good to be able to walk down through the meadow with sheep to the beach area where our dog could run freely.

Our second time staying here. On arrival we were greeted by Mike who showed us around. Lovely apartment with views onto the Cloisters. We made use of the amenities onsite, and enjoyed the stunning views and historic location. We had a wonderful stay once again.

Just as described, great location. Shop within 10/15 minute walk. Also short drive to really great mountain adventures. Wonderful to come back to a warm fire and hot shower. Nice wine glasses and plates (often not the case with all air b and b’s). Would really recommend this as a great place to stay, thank you

What a stunning house in a stunning location - Jamie was most helpful with organising our stay and the house was spotlessly clean! :)

We had a fantastic few nights at "Dail an Fheidh" Elizabeth's cottage. What a beautiful cottage that met everything, the view and waking up among the deer is magical! A supermarket is not around the corner but if you do your shopping in advance or go with the pedestrian walk across it does not matter. After a tip from the host, a delicious pizza was eaten at a brewery at a 15-minute drive. There is plenty to see and do in the area such as Glenfinnan and Loch shiel and the Ben Nevis. A place to relax and enjoy, a place to definitely remember and recommend for everyone!

The Islands View was absolutely stunning. Not only did my husband and I got an amazing view of Skye, but the place was immaculate and conveniently located.

We LOVED our stay here. As others have said, the views are just incredible every direction you look! It was amazing to watch the sunset looking out to the loch. We walked into Dornie a couple of times and drove over to Skye very easily. Amazing location and sooo beautiful, would not hesitate to recommend or come back ourselves

The location was perfect. It’s quite hard to find a place if you don’t make reservations in advance (even in April) so keep that in mind. The place was lovely. And Fiona was very responsive.

We would highly recommend this property - the house was excellent , and incredibly well set out. The location was fantastic for being able to visit all the key attractions around Skye. Thank you for a brilliant trip - we hope to be back again.

If you’re looking for a house with new high end furniture etc, this is it. The design was better than any house I’ve owned. Denby dishwater, cutlery , pots and high end linens and towels. This place is perfectly designed! Just know, it is on a main road, so you will hear cars when sitting outside. Other than that - the house is spotlessly clean, the beds are very comfortable and everything was perfect.

The Yatter Whaup House was absolutely beautiful. The house has so much character and was everything we needed for a relaxing family stay. The views of the mountains and Loch are incredible. Christina was responsive and we even got to meet Flossy the chicken!

We absolutely loved our time at Sandra's place. The kitchen is well stocked and the views are absolutely beautiful. My two kids loved Portree and exploring the Fairy Pools, but they also loved hanging out and throwing rocks right out front on the beach at low tide. The place was roomy and very clean, 10/10 recommend, we would definitely stay again.

I was drawn to Onie's place because it looked cosy and homely in the photos. Well, we weren't disappointed. It was very comfy and we enjoyed the board games. Stunning views in both directions from the windows.

Exactly as described! In a great spot, within a few mins drive from central Fort William, but far enough to be quiet with great views. Clean and has everything you need.

This was an amazing stay in the middle of the perfect isle of Skye Scottish costal experience. We played golf across the street and we're blown away at the views. The apartment was lovely and cozy. Well stocked with everything we needed to cook and if anything was missing, we just had to ask and they had us covered. Amazing time and if I ever get to come back I would love to stay with them again. Such lovely welcoming people!

We had a great stay at Jenny's place. The place is conveniently located, has wonderful views, and close to Fort Williams and all the hikes in the area. I'd also like to note that the kitchen is very well equipped and organized. Thank you, Jenny!
