Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

Sasaig Cabins are designed for 1 or 2 persons, cabins are cosy and comfy with double sleeping area, bathroom with shower and a small kitchen area which has sink,fridge, toaster,kettle,airfryer, grill and a microwave (no cooking ring) perfect base to explore. Locally we are in walking distance to Toravig distillery we have private access to knock beach and are situated 10 mins drive to Armadale ferry service.Broadford the second largest township on the island is a 15min drive from us .

Our beautiful wooden pods are set on the hillside behind the Cowshed Boutique Bunkhouse and enjoy amazing views across to the bay and the hilly surroundings of Uig. In a wonderful location to explore the Isle of Skye, The Cowshed is perfectly situated for enjoying spectacular sunsets in a peaceful setting. We have 7 pods available, and each of these cosy spaces is equipped with enough comforts for you to enjoy a relaxing break surrounded by nature.

The Little Skye Bothy

We have replaced our Little Skye Bothy in 2022. Same view but a little more space and you still have your own piece of tranquility with outstanding views to the loch and the mountains. There will be more photos to follow soon. The pod has kitchen facilities, 2 ring hob and microwave (no oven). There is a shower room, breakfast bar and stools, TV and wifi is available.
