Good communication and awesome view

Absolutely loved our stay here. I'll say our Kia K5 didnt make it up the driveway but it was a nice walk up, use caution if your feeble. The house is so beautifully decorated when you walk threw the door, the live plants made it feel like home as soon as they were spotted. The kitchen was so cute and had everything we needed to cook, the living room was so cozy with the cutest plaid touches to make it pop. The video projector was amazing, we were trying to unplug but took advantage of movies on the couch. The clawfoot tub was one of my favorite things, after hiking it was nice to relax alone. The hot tub outside was so nice, imagine being surrounded by dark folliage for privacy while relaxing, it was also directly beside the sauna. Both surrounded by dense trees for privacy. It was amazing! Hailey was absolutely amazing, before arriving she reached out to let us know if we needed anything she was a few minutes away. During our stay she reached out to make sure things were still great.

Very private location. Peaceful getaway. Not so far from town that running to the grocery is a chore, nor too far from great hikes. Our medium sized dog enjoyed the fenced in yard and we all sunbathed on the deck. Will stay again!

Absolutely perfect. We stayed for the week with our five kids (6,4,3, & 1 year old twins) and had an amazing family vacation. The space worked perfectly for our needs as a large family with small kids and the beach area was especially perfect for toddler playtime. The waterfall across the way was stunning and we loved boating around, fishing, swimming, fires by the lake, and rainy evenings in the hot tub. Such an amazing place for families!

We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay in Bobby and Dina’s beautiful, river house and they were the perfect hosts! They were very responsive to questions and even offered area suggestions including a wonderful local butcher, for our BBQ night on the deck, listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. This home had everything we needed to prepare meals, very clean and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this home for your trip to the Murphy area and would love to return when we have more time to fish & kayak!

This was the best rental that my family has ever booked. My husband was very impressed with the decor and the cleanliness of the rental. I contacted the host to ask for an extra day after finding out that our games had been scheduled for a later time. The host responded within minutes and fortunately the place was available for another night. We will most definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at the creekside cabin! The proximity to the Oconaluftee Visitors Center (just over 30 min) was perfect for our explorations in GSMNP. The house is also very close to a Publix and Ingles for groceries, and local spots for gas, food, and necessities. Our days and evenings were spent in the NP, but we made sure to spend one evening on the porch alongside the creek - and it was bliss! The space accommodated us, our toddler, and our pup. It rained hard a couple evenings, so it was very handy to have TV streaming options available. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and tools, allowing us to easily make breakfast and dinners. Hand washing the dishes is no problem for us. :) We hope to stay here again so we can explore more of the NP and Maggie Valley’s surrounding area! Highly recommend!

My wife and I grew up in Sylva. We came home to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We had several questions for Diane and she was wonderful to work with. We will definitely rent this property again. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

The Lake house was one of the quietest and most peaceful air b-and-b's we have stayed at. The new back deck is the highlight of the lake cabin. The rest of the cabin is fully equipped and functional, but we hardly left the back deck. With its fenced in area and gate was perfect for the dog. The kayaks and dock are a nice addition. It is located close to good dining at Micas restaurant and Whiteside brewery. We came for the hiking in Panthertown area. We will be back again.

This is my second time staying at this fantastic spot, and it was just as great as the first. They are wonderful hosts, the place is a real hidden gem, and the community has so much to offer. It certainly won't be my last time here!

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

Just a great time Honestly! Place was fun and perfect for my brother’s fishing and kayaking getaway trip. Just the right size and the best recommendations for everything. Great host, great home, and great location! Couldn’t have been more perfect. P.S. The shower pressure and temperature was like luxury at the end of a day at the lake. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking in, and the amenities were great. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and fishing along the river. The kids toys and games were a nice addition. Nicki was very friendly and responsive. We’d love to stay here again next year!

This is such an amazing place and yes it is real! Incredible views and wonderful stunning home in the mountains. It really was a memory I'll have forever. Matt was so awesome, he helped us get settled in and the amenities were so awesome🙏. Stay here and prepare to be pampered all the way up in the mountains! ❤️

Very quiet and private neighborhood. The private pond was amazing for fishing with small children. Location was close to activities and restaurants in Cashiers. Very comfortable place to stay.

I think this is the first Airbnb location that I've visited more than once and we're already talking about our next visit. It's so private, peaceful, and quiet. The space, while small-ish, is just perfect for 2 people and a dog. If you're looking for a quiet place to recharge, this is a great place to spend some time.

Heather’s place was a great retreat! The cabin was well appointed with interesting decor and a comfortable bed. She had everything one needs for a restful stay from the snacks in the cupboard to the drinks in the fridge. The shower had good water pressure with hot water. Plenty of clean, soft towels were set out ready for you. The landscape had to be my favorite! She takes great pride in offering a variety of flowering plants in the front garden. The moss garden was my favorite! It reminded me of my childhood and playing in the woods. The moss was always my carpet in my fairy home.😁 There are lots of seating outside to accommodate your nature soaking. It rained when we were there and so we did not use the fire chimney but it was a nice feature given the right time. We definitely be back to the Locust Log Cabin whenever we want a quick getaway. We love visiting sky valley and Jennifer’s place did not disappoint! It was a peaceful paradise nestled in the hills. We all had so much fun! Would book again for sure!

Our recent stay in this one-of-a-kind dome near the Smoky Mountains was a breath of fresh air—literally and figuratively. Tucked into a quiet patch of forest, the dome offered a beautiful, peaceful escape from everyday life. The outdoor deck was our favorite spot—perfect for sipping coffee in the crisp mountain air or stargazing at night. The hot tub outside was the cherry on top—relaxing in warm water while surrounded by nature was pure magic. The fire pit added a great touch for unwinding in the evenings. Location-wise, it struck the perfect balance—remote enough to feel off-the-grid, but still a short drive from trails, waterfalls, and charming mountain towns. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made everything easy. If you’re looking for a cozy, beautiful, and totally different kind of stay, this dome is the way to go. Highly recommend for couples or solo travelers looking to recharge in nature.

My family stayed for three nights to attend a wedding in nearby Clayton. It’s a beautiful area and this house was a cozy and comfortable spot to return to each night. Wish we had a few more days to sample some of the many activities available, especially at the Sky Valley Club where one can swim and play golf, tennis, even bocce.

Michelle's mountain cabin was wonderful. The VIEWS were better then expected. Just what we wanted. Having a morning coffee gazing at the vistas. WOW. The cabin was very warm and modern. Michell recommended a great food spot, Nocturnal Brewing. Super good, great vibes, people and pizza was divine. Our stay was relaxing, chill and what I expected. Michelle is a great host Thank you Michell for your kindness.

Ashlie's place is a relaxing quiet retreat in the woods. The cabin was a great place to chill out and decompress. I would describe it as a cozy cabin. Check in was a breeze with clear instructions provided.
