Apartment of approx. 22m2 with loft, private bathroom with shower, private kitchen with refrigerator and induction plates. The annex is located at an angle to the carport/tool shed and is in the garden. There are 4 beds, two on the loft and two on the sofa bed. Duvets/pillows/linens/towels/dishcloths are for free use. There is the possibility of borrowing a washing machine/dryer, and the greenhouse is for free use, however, together with the host couple. The home is located about 2 km from the fjord and forest and 8 km from Juelsminde.

The house was built in 1905, there are wooden floors and high ceilings in all rooms. Der er 200 meter til busstoppested, hvorfra bussen køre til Aarhus C. Naturen omkring huset byder både på hyggelig skov og 600 m fra huset ligger der en virkelig dejlig badestrand. Kaløvig Bådehavn ligger under en km fra huset. I huset er der spise og soveplads til 4 personer. Håndklæder, viskestykker, dyner, senge linned og brænde til den hyggelige brændeovn.

Boligen er en del af en 3-længet gård med egen indgang og lukket have med tilhørende terrasse. Boligen ligger i landlige omgivelser med udsigt over marker men tæt ved indkøb og Silkeborg by. Boligen ligger helt op ad landevejen men har lydisolerede vinduer. Men støj fra trafik må forventes- særligt i hverdagene, hvor der kører lastbiler og traktore og ved høsttid. Hytten egner sig ikke til længerevarende ophold.
