This property is for a maximum of 2 adults with Super King bed. Generally i will be available to answer any questions and if i am not around then can be contacted on my mobile. Chilham features a beautifully preserved medieval square. Just off the Square: - Chilham Castle with its landscaped gardens & parkland - Medieval St Mary's Church - 4000-year-old Juliberrie Barrow. - Tea rooms - Woolpack Inn - White Horse Inn Other local highlights: - Local vineyard with tours - Chilham Lake (fishing) - Kings Wood & Downs - cycle & walk Chilham train station is a 10 minute walk from the property with links to Ashford International (10 mins) and the high speed line to St Pancras in London from Ashford (35 minutes). Canterbury is 10 minutes in the other direction, onward to Margate (about 25 minutes). If you have a day out in London the last trains leave London around 0015. The main bus stop in Chilham is a 4 minute walk from the property with buses to Ashford and Canterbury . If you go out in Canterbury for the evening, the last train back is around 2240 and if you are out later, taxis are available back to Chilham at a cost of around £15-£20.

The triple glazed cottage provides comfortable accommodation and is just over an hour away from SE London by car, or by train straight into Teynham station from London Victoria, (1 hr 6m). We are 10 mins walk from Teynham railway station. Faversham & Sittingbourne are 10 minutes away. We have released all availabilty through to end of December 2026
