This was a magical week spent at Luis’s apartment. We attribute so much of our enjoyment to his engagement with us from the start to even after our stay, making sure we arrived at our following destination. Luis loves his city as evidenced by his passion and knowledge for its history, cuisine, local Toro wine and every detail and event of Semana Santa. Luis and Miriam helped us navigate the city for the week’s events guiding us to the best locations for observing the processions and the best places to enjoy the food and wine of this beautiful city. His apartment is spotless, well equipped and mattresses are very comfortable. The location is superb, close to the historic center and paths along the river. A Birder’s delight crossing the bridge to the river bank path! We have traveled the globe and with over 60 stays in Airbnbs and never has a host spent so much time and effort ensuring our stay and experience was TOP. Luis went above and beyond! MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

El alojamiento está es un pueblo precioso, muy tranquilo y cerca de lugares muy bonitos para visitar. Es muy acogedor y calentito. Esperamos volver a visitarlo pronto.

La casa es muy bonita y super bien equipada, no falta de nada. Las camas muy cómodas . Tuvimos leña en todo momento para encender la chimenea. Tanto Isabel como Javier son de 10 y siempre estaban atentos y disponibles. El pueblo es muy tranquilo y con unas rutas de senderismo que vale la pena conocer. Se merece una segunda visita sin dudarlo.

Delightful, cosy house in a peaceful village with easy access to the many natural and historical sites in the area. It was the first time in the region for me and I really enjoyed it. This is and old house, restored in a way that makes it comfortable but retains its charm. It has a wood pellet fire and I have never used one before but it was quite intuitive. And it was lovely to have the fire in the cold evenings and mornings. Great place, great hostess, would definitely stay again.

Fueron unas vacaciones perfectas! nos hemos quedado enamorados del pueblo y de la casa. Nos hemos venido con la idea de repetir. Juan nada más llegar fue muy agradable, nos explicó todo y nos aconsejo donde comer, lugares que visitar, muy amable y atento!!! Si queréis disfrutar de unas vacaciones tranquilas, este es el sitio perfecto!! PD: Que decir del tiempo...ha sido maravilloso, justo lo que estábamos buscando para huir del calor de Madrid.

An absolutely amazing little cabin! It was peaceful, quiet, and the perfect getaway for me and my three dogs. The host was incredibly friendly and proactive, providing all the information we needed to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. Everything was well thought out, making it a truly relaxing experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Maritere y Celia son unas anfitrionas estupendas: pendientes, discretas y amables. Te hacen sentir en casa desde el principio. La casa y el jardín son maravillosos, tal cual se muestra en las fotos. Todo está impecable, tanto en limpieza como en orden y combinan a la perfección funcionalidad y tradición en la decoración, mobiliario y utensilios. La casa alberga una pequeña pero preciosa muestra de alfarería tradicional de los alrededores que me ha encantado (y sin una mota de polvo; no digo más). Hay todo lo necesario para estancias cortas o largas y tienen el detalle de dejar desayuno para un par de días y gel y champú en el baño. Las camas, almohadas y ropa de cama nuevas y supercomodas. Además no hay ni un ruido, con lo que se descansa fenomenal. El jardín y el balcón muy cuidados y llenos de vida. Un lugar perfecto para conocer Sanabria y alrededores, Sierra de la Culebra, Norte de Portugal o Los Valles en cualquier época del año.
