This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest houses along the path are located here. No crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquility and the beauty of the old village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

In a very convenient location in relation to the beautiful forests of the Oranjewoud and the center of Heerenveen is this cute vacation home with its own sun terrace and unobstructed views of the garden. This former garage has recently been completely transformed into a comfortable and cozy studio. You can enjoy cycling and walking in the neighborhood, and the Frisian lake area is a 20-minute drive from here. Furthermore, the center of Heerenveen offers numerous cozy terraces and bars.

U slaapt op de begane grond (2 sk + eigen badk.+eigen keuken+ eigen grote woonkamer (50 m2) met hoge plafonts en openhaard. eigen ingang. 3e slaapkamer is boven via het voorhuis. Buiten aan het water je eigen terras. Ook geschikt voor groeps werk met een grote werk tafel. Vintage dus mooi, oud en gezellig. Maar niet spotless.

Our guest house was newly built in 2018 in traditional style with oak beams, Frisian yellow stone wall and concrete floor with floor heating. The apartment is located in the middle of the bustling village street of Langweer on the first floor above our design studio. It features a spacious living room with a luxurious kitchen (and island), two fine bedrooms with private bathroom. The entire apartment is decorated with tasteful furniture adjoining our design style. Many nice sights are steps away: the harbor is around the corner, nice restaurants, beautiful villages, beautiful nature, cities, shops and culture.

Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace by the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.
