What a wonderful experience! The description of the home was excelled by the reality. It was very clean and tastefully decorated — Anna has an eye for design and art. the three bedrooms easily accommodated us. The large patio with its charming table and vine screened roof was a charming place to enjoy our morning cappuccino. the home is situated in a agricultural community built in 1788, situated in extensive vineyards. The buildings have been thoroughly renovated into a series of private homes. The community contained renters like us, but also young communities and older retirees. We had a chance to get to know people in the neighborhood, who were uniformly friendly. the AirBnB is about 25 minutes away from Arezzo by car. The best place to park we found was in the short term parking at the train station. From there it was just a short walk to the Old Town. Anna was a wonderful and charming host. We recommend this property highly!

Our stay at Piero’s home was the highlight of our family’s three week Italy trip! It is one of the most beautiful homes we have stayed at and the spectacular vineyards, gardens, and pool really added something special. We plan to definitely return/stay again! Beautiful stay in Tuscany! The house is exactly as it is pictured. The space is very comfortable with a great outdoor space with the most amazing views. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Ema has put so much care and energy into making this a great stay, even down to all the landscape outside. You will feel right at home here.

This was our second month long stay at Il Focolare and it was every bit as inspiring as our first stay. Views of the farm fields below Monticchiello are no less a work of art than any master paintings you can find in Florence. Marco made our stay very comfortable indeed.

absolutely one of the best AirBNB experiences we have ever had! There is no better location if you are visiting Siena, especially if you would rather take the escalator up the mountain. The entrance is right across the street. Our host had thought of everything. From washing detergent to a bottle of wine. Take not though, in Siena it is sometimes difficult to get a taxi early in the morning unless you book it well in advance. Our host went out of his way to make sure we arrived at the train station on time! But just remember, book your departure taxi early! And oh yeah, the secret garden was awesome. A great place to kick back and enjoy the mountain air with a cool beverage;) 5 star plus plus!!

We loved staying in Montalcino at Lisa's place. Lisa was a fantastic host and responded quickly. She gave us her picks for restaurants, wine tastings, etc, which were excellent choices. The Airbnb was ideally situated right off the main square. It has a yard, which we enjoyed, and a very functional kitchen with everything we needed. The king-size bed was very comfortable and had high-quality linens. This is a hilltop city, so keep this in mind for anyone unable to walk up steeper inclines throughout the city. We enjoyed the exercise and the stunning views. We stayed for a week and I could have easily stayed longer as we got to know the restaurants, stores and the area. Montalcino is a charming place to spend your time. It was a good location from which to take day trips. There is so much to do in the general area. We highly recommend you stay here; it was the highlight of our trip, and we felt like we were in good hands. Thank you, Lisa!

Ester’s place was absolutely amazing! I fell in love with the beautiful stone and wooden floors, and the Tuscan kitchen was a dream—filled with gorgeous dishes and high-quality cookware that made cooking a pleasure. The linens smelled so fresh and clean, and the furnishings struck the perfect balance between rustic charm and elegant style. Every little detail, from the artwork to the thoughtful touches throughout the house, added so much character. This was not one of those bare, minimalistic places—it felt curated and cozy, full of warmth and personality. Giovanni and Ester were incredibly communicative and helpful throughout our stay. They reached out ahead of time to advise us to make reservations for Easter (which was a lifesaver!), helped arrange transportation, gave us fantastic local recommendations, and checked in to make sure we were doing well. We also really appreciated the welcoming bottle of prosecco, the breakfast treats, and the beautiful fresh oranges.

This accommodation has a really nice view. The bedding was clean and the bathroom was clean. There are two swings, a playground with a slide, a garden, and the kids were happy with animals such as mountain rabbits, cats, mountain birds, snails... etc. I was grateful that the hosts were so kind and sweet. I recommend this accommodation that I want to go to again.

first I love his neighbors who checked us in. Cinzia was amazing. She not only showed us our place but took our kids to show us her farm. she also makes her own olive oil and gifted us with some! Wonderful Italian neighbors!! I contacted Rocky in advance and he provided me with specific recommendations for where we should go during a long drive we took. we went where he suggested and was not disappointed! Amazing quiet location with great near by wineries. would 100% recommend to everyone!

Words cannot describe our gratitude and love for the time we spent at Rita's home! We loved every second and wish we could have stayed longer. We will absolutely be back to visit and stay. The home is in pristine condition, and looks exactly like pictures but even more beautiful in person! Rita made us feel like family and we truly consider her a special part of our family now. Max’s place is beautiful like a dream. The accommodation is tastefully furnished with Tuscan charm. The interior is equipped with high quality cooking utensils and tablewares in the kitchen, comfortable bed, and sparkling clean bathroom. We enjoyed marveling at the beautiful wooden beam ceiling and terracotta tile floor. The exterior is elegant, well maintained, and exudes a pride in the care-taking of the property. Max and his wife Pamela were genuinely kind and helpful, and we enjoyed every interaction with them. It felt like talking with family. The location is convenient to explore central Tuscany. We made many day trips from Podere Il Belvedere su Cortona. Every time coming back to Max’s place felt like coming home!

We felt comfortable from the first moment. Beautiful terrace, very, very nice pool, good facilities, everything you need. We plan to come back.

Beautiful, peaceful stay. Amazing, secluded location. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming - made us feel right at home. Lots of great walks around, including the nearby winery. The only downside is it does get rather cold in the stone apartment but during warmer weather the coolness in the apartment would probably be perfect. They provided a portable heater & a hot water bottle though which was nice. Thank you Tebea for being such a lovely host!

A very nice stay in Tuscany. Within driving distance to many great destinations - Montepulciana, Cortona, Arezzo, Siena. If you just want to relax, it is a very peaceful place with a lovely pool. The grocery store was 5 minutes away and Marian always had wonderful recommendations for us.

the apartment was clean and tidy. The location is perfect for those who want to visit the main towns of the Val d'Orcia by car. Free car parking a few steps away.

Perfect peaceful location. In the countryside but close to amenities and 25 minutes to historic Siena with endless restaurants. And in secure gated area. Beautiful views and amenities in the apartment, with sauna and indoor and outdoor hot tubs. A must stay if looking for quiet, peaceful Tuscan experience.

Podere Fonte Bernardi was located close to the adorable hilltop town of Monticchiello! The farmhouse villa is absolutely stunning...the VIEW gives you a daily dose of the L' Orcia valley... never once did the view fail to awe us - 9 straight days! The house provided us all the comforts of home with an Italian flare! Very driveable, close to other amazing hilltop towns of Montipulciano and Pienza!! We were also able to get to Montalcino, San Quirico d'Orcia and Bagno Vignoni. Our host made several recommendations for markets, restaurants, historical places to visit, and activities! A great cooking class at Deb's Lounge in Montiechiello- learned how to make eggplant parmigiana and pici pasta!! We also cooked a few nights at the house and ate and drank wine out on the covered patio with a picturesque view! We hired a driver, Bartoli Wine Tours for 2 days....Day 1 saw Umbria- ate in Porano and visited Bagnoregio....Wow! Day 2 wine tasted around Montalcino! Best trip ever!
