I wish we had stayed longer, this place is perfect if you want to rest and reset. Carol is an amazing host and very helpful with recommendations on what to do around the neighbours. I will definitely be visiting moonshine again to stay longer.

The House in Ballots Bay is absolutely beautiful and its even more stunning than the pictures. It has everything you'll need plus some extras (Games, books, braai, heated pool etc)! The rooms all are perfectly furnished and everything was very clean. The area is beautiful and perfect for anyone who looks for a remote place in nature to watch animals and enjoy stunning views & hikes. One small disclaimer: This house might not be for you if you have a fear of spiders, insects/ snakes. As it is really remote in nature, its very possible you will see some in and around the house (especially during rainy season). Anyway: Can't recommend enough to people who look for a getaway in nature with stunning views!

A spectacular home! Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time to stay. It is walking distance to the beach and to the Main Street with shops and restaurants, but the home is so lovely — with wonderful views and everything you need for self-catering — that you can easily spend all your time at the house. Dean was very communicative and left thoughtful touches like water carafes by the bed. We would love to stay here again!

Perfect location, amazing view, great house for a large group, fully equipped kitchen.

Our stay was very, relaxed and Matilda was very proactive. All instructions was very clear, and we got feedback on any questions with a quick and friendly response. The house is fully equipped, with all one needs. The garden is beautifully maintained. With a large lawn that our dog absolutely loved. You also have use of a big garage that just adds to you peace of mind, when it comes to vehicle security. Also has an outside care port that is under roof and behind security gate, that really came handy when we packed up and it was raining on our checkout day. The beach, nice coffee shop, and spar is all in short walking distance, really making this a super location to vacation if you want to park you car and not drive agian till your stay is over. We highly recommend this, location, house and host. Thank you Matilda for making our stay so easy and relaxing.

The unit is just as shown in pictures. Very clean and modern. Jonathan is a very responsive and friendly host. Easy to find the estate. Please make sure to have a car to stay at this property.
