Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Silver Lake, Los Angeles

Farbod was a great host — he communicated clearly and allowed us to check in a bit early since we arrived earlier than expected. The home was beautiful and as described. We were there for a Dodgers game and it was the perfect location. We will definitely stay here in the future.

Jasmine was a lovely and communicative host. The back house was the perfect size for 2 people and checking in and out was a breeze! It was equipped with everything we needed and felt very cozy. There was ample street parking and the neighborhood was quiet and convenient as well! Highly recommend for those looking to stay in Los Feliz.

Norma was a great host! Helped me out on my first night since I came in so late - and then everything else was as described. Silver Lake is a great neighborhood - I'd stay again if the listing is available to me next time I am in the area. 🙂

I spent 3 nights at Melissa's place with my wife, my daughter and my 14 month old grandson. It was everything that we expected and more. The house was perfect for us. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bedrooms were well laid out and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice having 2 bathrooms, both with showers and one with a bathtub as well. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more!) We loved the neighborhood! It was so convenient for walking for everything we needed. There were quite a few choices for coffee shops in the morning and lots of great restaurants nearby. We had a wonderful take out dinner from Pine and Crane. Melissa was a great host and we would love to stay at her place again! -Peter

Wonderful house tastefully decorated great views we could see the Hollywood sign from the porch. Great location for Silver Lake and sunset strip bright sunny feel to the house. Well equipped we were super happy with our stay. 5 star

Jordan’s place exceeded my expectations in person! So clean and so cute. It had really nice energy and was decorated with so much love- all the details and books and Knick knacks made it a special spot, also a nice touch hearing Jordan play piano upstairs in the afternoon :) peaceful. I would recommend this home to stay and the big plus was the location was amazing!!! Thanks again for a great stay.

What a GEM! This 1920's bungalow is cozy and cute, with historic details such as crystal doorknobs and a gorgeous fireplace, paired with modern amenities such as ice cold AC and an updated kitchen that sill has a ton of vintage charm! In late May, the garden was a beautiful oasis with its own shady micro-climate. The hammock was a great place to escape with a good book. I enjoyed walking in the safe and friendly neighborhood every morning before it got too hot. Many neighbors take great pride in their landscaping and I took a ton of photos of the beautiful plants and flowers. From a health standpoint, I appreciate that the host does not use cleaning products or air "fresheners" with artificial fragrances. There's nothing worse for my family than entering an Airbnb that reeks of a plug-in air "freshener". Be forewarned - the hot water is VERY HOT!

I loved my stay here at Mary’s place, and especially enjoyed spending time on the deck enjoying the sunset. Mary was a kind and courteous host and her space is private, comfortable and has everything you need to cook if desired. My only con is that you can hear the upstairs neighbor walking around quite loudly, and sometimes very late at night. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Otherwise, a perfect location to relax and explore the city, especially close to Atwater Village, Los Feliz, Highland Park and Echo Park.

this is our third time staying at elizabeth’s place and we’ll definitely be back a fourth time! the airbnb itself is lovely, absolutely a great place to rest and relax. the kitchen and bathroom are fully stocked-(which is completely unnecessary but very appreciated) and elizabeth herself is a delight. the airbnb is a very short walk from downtown, and the walk is gorgeous. can’t recommend this spot highly enough.

I had a wonderful stay. The apartment was clean and had a wonderful breeze with the windows open. There are two very cute dogs on the property, they're very friendly. The view was incredible. There is a fantastic bagel shop within walking distance. Very centrally located for things to do in silverlake. I would definitely stay here again.

Charlotte’s place was super cute and so peaceful. We loved the outdoor area. It did not feel like we were in the heart of LA. The host was great, very good communication . Great stay, I would recommand it.

Stay was great. Felt right at home. Make sure you follow the check in details correctly. Felt a little uneasy at first but became comfortable once you settle in. Great location. Walking distance to LA live. Will return!

Johnny's place was great, just like the pics. The rooftop pool was awesome and provided great sunset views. Johnny was very responsive, and would recommend his place to stay.

This Silverlake flat was one of the best air bnb’s we’ve stayed in, location, amenities, communication, all top notch.. The extra touches including wine, snacks, coffee and tea, French press, nice soaps, were much appreciated. We especially loved living in a flat created by two people with amazing taste and concern for our happiness, thank you Alfonso and Liz!

Pari’s place is bigger than it appears in the photos- really nice space. Modern and comfortable, fully outfitted kitchen, and plenty of towels/amenities. Contrary to other reviewers, I didn’t find the parking to be tough. I rented an SUV and just backed into the space without a problem - I can see how it would be tough for someone if they headed in- just do a three point turn up front and you’ll be fine :) One last comment- the location can’t be beat! Walking distance to so much (including one of my favorite restaurants, Green Street). And less than 15 minutes to Occidental College, where I was attending events. Great stay. Thanks Pari!

Felt right at home! Will definitely stay again

Nice place. Quiet. I had no issues getting in. The bathroom was clean. Kitchen was clean. They had a steamer for my clothes which was nice as well.

Giselle and Ali are amazing hosts and we always enjoy our stay in their beautiful unit :) We’d definitely visit again soon!

We were in LA for business meetings. Before we make a reservation, we compared Ali's condo with the other condos surrounding. He is the most responsive and most helpful host, and we are so glad and lucky that we made a correct selection and book Ali's house. He likes a local friend who provided us with not only assistance/guidance on check-in and staying but also touring and catering advice. He is super responsive, proactively reaching out to us offering additional help, and so friendly. The place is clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Guests can tell from the tasty design, details of guidance, and thoughtful and convenient amenities that Ali and his wife have spent great time and effort to make this place as welcoming and cozy as possible. This place is definitely our stay for next visit, regardless for business or private. The location is close to everything, peaceful, and in walking distance to my LA office and everything.

Absolutely thrilled about our stay here. It’s a beautiful condo with the best LA decor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also- Having a WORKING washing machine in an Airbnb was a game changer! The rooftop views- wow!! How cool to have a pool and hot tub on the roof! There is also no reason to feel unsafe at this location (I saw other reviews with some worries). The security at the front desk was AMAZING. They will not let anyone in that is not supposed to be in the building. They eventually know you by name and greet you. They walked me outside to show me exactly how to get to the convenient parking garage provided by the host. (The parking garage is just as secure!) I could go on and on about our experience- but it will only allow me to write so much! Thank you so much Brandon! We will be back! If you want to stay downtown LA- stay here.

great area, lots of little shops, and places to eat!

The place was really clean, everything is described. Just what I needed for my weekend getaway. Felt right at home.
