House vacation rentals in Šilo

Our dream home!!! What a beautiful place. It was even better than our expectations. The house is tastefully decorated, welcoming, renovated but retains its character. The pool is just sublime. Both the interior and the exterior, 10/10. Zoran gave us great local recommendations. He's a thoughtful and very kind host. A quiet and heavenly place for a quiet vacation, close to everything on the island (within 30 minutes' drive of the attractions). We recommend this house for your future trip, a must-see!

Villa Ursa is located right in the heart of a small village. However a tall fence provides a sense of privacy. We visited at the beginning of June and there was almost no people in the village which for us was ideal as we enjoy peace and quiet above else (Lana informed us that during summer season it is a completely different story so have that in mind if you are visiting during July or August). You have a heated indoor pool and as the posting mentions a beach bar with a nice coastline just 10 min walk from the Villa (for us the sea was warm enough to swim in but a lot of people did not go into the water). Inside of the Villa looks modern and traditional at the same time which gives it a nice aesthetic. Lana was a kind host who welcomed us with a local wine bottle, freshly baked bread and a meat platter. We really enjoyed our stay and it is highly likely that we will visit again.

Our family of four had a great week at Maya‘s guesthouse. We loved the private backyard with nice garden, heated pool and jacuzzi. The small house has everything we needed and there is a good outdoor kitchen as well. The beach is a few minutes away and at least in fall there are good chances that you have it for yourself. There are hiking trails to the secluded northern part of the island steps away from the house as well. The communication with Maja is easy and very friendly.

Everything perfect! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. From the communication to the location and cleanliness - this accommodation is an absolute dream! Child-friendly equipped with children's dishes/cutlery, elevated pool with gate and a private playground in the garden, everything has been thought of here and implemented with a lot of love for detail. You can tell that it is not just an Airbnb house, but a lot of the owners' passion flows into the care. Even with self-inflicted complications, we were helped immediately and very kindly, which is absolutely not a matter of course. All in all, I can highly recommend this property! A very clean accommodation, hosts always available for ignorance. Location nice and quiet, but a little harder to reach on foot, but optimal by car. Highly recommended.

The vacation home was found as described! The outdoor area with pool is very well maintained and beautifully lit in the evening. The interior is tastefully furnished and very clean! The kitchen equipment is excellent, everything that was needed was found. The location of the house is very quiet and idyllic! It is about 25 minutes by car to the beach. Communication with Boris was impeccable! The vacation home is recommended!

A great villa in a very peaceful location. The house is equipped with everything you might need in terms of grilling, pool, sauna, or just cooking. You can easily spend some days there without even leaving the property. The next supermarket is about 7mins with the car. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Great location just 10 meters from the sea. Quiet, private. Anton lives next door and is accessible and helpful. Very clean and spacious. Great wifi and showers. Comfy beds. We hope to return to Anton's flat next year.

Biserka and her family's house was perfect! Biserka and her family are very friendly and always there if you need something or have a question. The house is in a quiet location and has a beautiful terrace where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning. The house is really tasteful and beautifully furnished down to the last detail. The cleanliness is perfect! The bedrooms are on the 1st floor. Air conditioning available. TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. The best thing was the kitchen, which is fully equipped and you can prepare your meals like you would at home. You rarely find something like this. The house is a dream and everything is really perfect! You can't have it better. I can only recommend the location to everyone! We'd love to come back. We say thank you to Biserka, Vjeko and Alen for their hospitality. The house is also ideal for families with 2 to 3 children. And animals are allowed too. You can only give full stars as a rating here.

We came just for the night as a middle spot to spot on our drive but we wish we had more time to stay! The house was absolutely stunning and so cozy. We didn’t see the view until morning but it was to die to for. It is so beautiful! There seems like a lot of nature stuff to do in the area so it must be great in the summer. Definitely a place worth staying at! We highly recommend! Only wanted to mention- there is no shampoo, just body wash, so don’t count on it.

Despite delays due to massive traffic jams, we were warmly welcomed😊. Immediately everything was explained to us with great pleasure and we were shown the entire accommodation. We even received a welcome gift, which made us very happy after what felt like an eternal journey. I highly recommend the place, anyone looking for a quiet place to stay but still close to the city must take a detour here. The house is in a quiet street , beautiful sea view from the terrace. All windows had mosquito nets. (There were a lot of mosquitoes.) Only the garden wasn't well-maintained and very overgrown. Don't wait for a blanket or kicking a ball with your kids.. Hosts are very helpful and kind.

We had Villa Jelena at the end of May 2025 and did not regret the booking. In short: Sabina is a dream of hostess, a very nice person and we quickly took her to heart because she was always approachable and helpful - without being intrusive. The place itself was picobello clean, nothing was missing and we immediately felt comfortable and "at home". The garden property with many olive trees, the diverse seating/resting areas and the wonderful pool ensures the perfect holiday feeling. Thank you Sabina, we will be back.

Thank you, Mira and Dzenis, for letting us stay at Villa Mirabilis. It exceeded our expectations in every way possible! The rooms are decorated with beautiful antique furniture and there was plenty of space for our family of 5. The garden is an extension of the house with an incredible, well-stocked outdoor kitchen and dining area with views of the sea. It was evident that Mira is a master gardener because her garden was one of the most beautiful we had ever seen with blooming plants and butterflies everywhere we turned. The pool was the cherry on top with panoramic views of the valley and sea. The location was perfect…quiet and private yet lots of restaurants and shops only 10 minutes away. Pictures cannot capture the beauty of Villa Mirabilis. This is easily one of our favorite AirBnBs we have ever stayed in and our kids are already asking to go back. Thank you, Mira and Dzenis, for an unforgettable stay in Croatia!

We really loved this fairytale house and felt like we were in another world. I was very excited because the pictures are so great. But the reality was even better. The furnishings are absolutely top notch, nothing is missing. Our children loved the intricate architecture and the wooden staircases. Although we were unlucky with the weather and it was really cold and rainy, we really enjoyed our stay as the house is wonderfully warm. We LOVED the Outdoor kitchen. There's a wonderful wood-fired oven there, where we baked bread and made stew directly on the fire. Our favorite place. We would have liked to use the pool more often, but the weather didn't quite play ball. But as soon as it warmed up, we went straight in and that was great too. We can warmly and wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful house. The hosts are very nice, help immediately and are really uncomplicated ❤️. If you're not just looking for a place to sleep, but a house full of love and magic, this is the place for you 💕

Absolutely fantastic place to stay in. Great private location with driveable distance to beautiful local beaches. We used this place to explore the coastal beaches from BASKA in KRK (about 1hr 20min) to MAKARSKA (around 4hrs). MARIN is a Great Person. He is very responsive and always friendly. We highly recommend this place to anyone. Thanks so much
