The place was fantastic! Great location, very cozy, conveniently located, close to all that Balat has to offer. Ișil, was amazing 👏! she met us on the first day, did a detailed walk through of the space, showed us around the neighborhood, and was available for any of our questions while we stayed at her gorgeous space. she even helped us with unstanding local transportation. Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

Tao’s home is a charming entire house with a private entrance, nestled in a vibrant neighborhood. If you're a fan of Orhan Pamuk's novels, you'll recognize the area, and you'll be pleased to know that the Museum of Innocence actually exists and is located nearby. The house itself is full of character and unique details. The kitchen is well-equipped and had everything we needed traveling with a young child. There are three floors to navigate: the kitchen, dining area, and a shower are located on the ground floor, while the entrance, two bedrooms and a toilet are on the first floor. The second floor features the third bedroom with its own small kitchenette and bathroom. Additionally, the entrance has a few steps as well. Tao is a very sweet, friendly and thoughtful host, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout our visit. Communication was seamless, and he provided us with excellent recommendations for local restaurants that we thoroughly enjoyed.

First of all, the decor and design of the house was really amazing. It really had a very warm environment. Every detail has been thought out for guests. It was an important detail that all of the products offered were vegan and eco-friendly. Although it was a cool weekend, we warmed up comfortably with the combi boiler. Gökçe & Derya are extremely kind and helpful people who really see their guests as “guests.” They responded quickly to everything. Thanks for the amenities and help they provided.

Peaceful and comfortable accommodation with amazing views and all the creature comforts. An excellent base for exploring Istanbul by ferry or bus, with nice cafes nearby. Can recommend using a delivery service (we used Getir) to get groceries in.

My stay with parents in this apartment was amazing and peaceful! Location is very good No issues with the transport And I would like to say thank you to Nihal , she is very nice and mindful , responding immediately. Definitely will stay next time !

It is a great place to spend time with a large group of friends. We had everything in the 4-story building, we stayed with full pleasure. Mr. Ferhat was extremely caring and helpful, communicating with us very well. We thank him very much. We would love to come back in the summer to use the pool:)

Ezgi communication was excellent, always replying within minutes on the morning we left, my husband left his bag in the apartment, Ezgi sent someone round to let us in and get it within 20 minutes so we did not miss our flight

Very good studio in a good location, everything is sparkling clean and brand new. The place had just been renovated a month ago. Internet was very stable aswell. Host is very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

It was a very nice house, unfortunately we could not use the beautiful garden due to the rainy weather, but we also had a great time in the house. All the needs were considered in the house, which was an important criterion for us and we were able to reach them all. You can cook any food on the stove with a small grocery shopping. Everything and everything in the house was spotless. It was very close to the beach, and you can walk out in nice weather. In short, everything was very nice, I recommend it with peace of mind.

Beautiful apartment uphill from the heart of Balat. we stayed for 9 days so plenty of time to experience the neighborhood and the place. It was a pleasant place to stay. We didn't want to stay in the massively touristy areas and experience a little but of the local life and Balat is great for that. The place is set over 4 floors with very steep stairs. be very careful whilst coming down. luckily there's a toilet on each floor. It was comfortable, relatively quiet and safe. We travelled with cabin luggages so very grateful for the supplied shower gel and shampoo! We cooked a little and the kitchen is totally functional as is the washing machine ( although you'll need a but of Google lens translation to figure out the programmes!) Constructive criticism - could do with hooks for the towels in each bathroom and a couple more seats on the terrace. It was a really nice spot to have our breakfast and evening sundowner. Also, no TV unlike what is listed but good WiFi available.

Every detail has been meticulously considered: a spacious and comfortable living area, the pleasure of a home cinema experience on a large screen, a bright and quiet neighborhood… Even the bed, pillows, and dryer have been carefully chosen with comfort in mind. For those working remotely, this place is also an excellent choice! There is a dedicated workspace where you can comfortably take care of your business. Sara, made this experience even more special. With her warm hospitality, excellent recommendations about the city, and attention to every detail from check-in to even sharing the local grocery store’s number, she truly made me feel at home. If you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed home in Istanbul, this is definitely the right place! I will definitely be back!
