Vacation rentals with breakfast in Sigiriya

Gayan’s property was amazingly serene and peaceful. Host was very responsive and prompt in her actions. Morning breakfast offered by Gayan was the best meal I had during my visit to Srilanka. This place is highly recommended if you want to have some ‘Me’ time away from hustle bustle of crowded hotel and properties.

Super logement ! J’avais ma voiture donc à 20 min de lion rock! J’ai également fait le safari, j’ai vu pleins d’éléphants / crocodile / singes / oiseaux ! Vers 4m du matin un éléphant est venu dans le jardin de la maison, et ça c’était mémorable ! La petite famille est super mignonne, agréable, gentil ! Ils font tout pour que vous passiez le meilleur des séjours. Tout était parfait ! Merci encore !

As we had booked all four chalets, the host Dilum kindly provided the use of the villa at the end of drive. This was a significant and wonderful surprise. The villa was very spacious and was over and above our expectations. We enjoyed this space greatly and we were looked after brilliantly by Morgan. The breakfasts were tasty and always on time and more than we could eat everyday. Morgan also joined in with our impromptu cricket matches 🤩🫶 The space was private and luxurious and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone seeking something similar while exploring Dambulla and the surrounding tourist sites. We would definitely go there again 🙌🥰

Theese apartments are really comfortable and beautiful. The special location, the rooms and the bathrooms are nice and perfect. And the pool is amazing. And I would like to gratefully thank to Isanka and his beautiful family too welcomed us for her endless kindness and hospitality. They did everything to make us feel as good as possible. They made us delicious Srí Lankan breakfasts every morning, and a super tasty dinner with Kottu, noodle, rice, curry, papadums, sauce, etc... Mmmmm. :) And the tuktuk! They took us everywhere we asked. Thank you very much for treating us with such a care like this. 🙏 <3

Super, nous ne somme resté qu'une nuit mais le lieu étais magnifique, superbe piscine en extérieur, l'intérieur est très propre et bien rangé, Tharu est très réactif et Mme cuisine super bien. Ils nous ont même proposé de s'occuper de réservé un chauffeur pour nous emmener à un parc qu'ils nous ont fait découvrir. Rien à dire, 5 étoiles.

Mi estancia en el homestay fue excepcional. Se portaron conmigo como si fuera mi familia, me ayudaron con el pago, con el transporte, las cenas fueron exquisitas, ellos estuvieron atentos con todo lo que podía necesitar y siempre con una sonrisa. Estuve mucho tiempo en el hotel por que tenía que trabajar y se estaba genial, muy tranquilo, rodeado de naturaleza. Sin duda volveré. MUCHAS GRACIAS!!!!!!!! :)

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad! Alles was goed verzorgd, het eten was goed en de eigenaren ontzettend vriendelijk. Ze gaven ons veel tips voor de omgeving. De accommodatie is heel mooi gelegen in het groen, weg uit de drukte. We hebben een safari gedaan via de eigenaar. Was allemaal goed geregeld en we hadden een erg goede gids. We hebben zelfs een luipaard gezien!

the place is beautiful and so unique. our hosts were so friendly and welcoming ... from first meeting to the great food. we would definitely come again

It's difficult to find words to explain how amazing our experience in Chamila's place was. We haven't been received as guests, we felt more like a part of the family. Chamila is very hospitable, polite and humble and she, together with the whole family, including Snowy and Scooby, made us feel welcomed, we learned a lot about Sri Lanka, we ate amazing food (!) prepared by her mother and Elena even had a chance to try on one of Chamila's beautiful saris. Not to mention that she helped us to arrange all the trips in the area (and there's much to see - Dambulla is exactly in the middle of the "cultural triangle") and that we received parting gifts which will make us remember the visit when we're back home (we would anyway!). I've been staying in hundreds of places over the years and this is definitely on my personal top three list. If you're reading this, stop looking for different accommodation. You've just found what you wanted and you will never forget this place afterwards.

Janaka , his wife and the little boys are a very welcoming family that hosted us beautifully for 2 days. We loved the food that Nisha cooked for us , it was wholesome and gave us a very authentic taste of Sri Lankan cuisine. The rooms are very close to the samba caves. For our trek to sigiriya lion rock - janaka came to drop us in his tuc tuk at 4am in order to climb it with no sun. Janaka arranged for us a safari ride as well as took us around in tuk tuk in reasonable rates. All in all it was a wonderful stay for my husband and I , and we loved how warm and caring janaka and his wife were!!! Highly recommend this place !

We had an amazing time at Lal‘s homestay! The hospitality of Lal and his family is absolutely great! You can have delicious homemade Sri Lankan Dinner -also the Kids loved it!! We LOVED our stay at Amila’s family’s Homestay. In fact, it was the most special and our trip’s favorite. The family was super welcoming and the surroundings were gorgeous and serene. We woke up every morning to watch the sunrise on the lake. It is also really close to the historical sites in Dambulla and Sigiriya. Amila’s brother Chamika helped us with transportation from the airport and around the Homestay and Amila’s mom cooked us delicious Sri Lankan food in their traditional kitchen. Also the price is unbeatable. We HIGHLY recommend their place!

Subadra was a perfect host,we booked a homestay and got a home instead. The place was ozzing with love and kindness. She went beyond her way to address our concerns and gave a personal touch to everything she offered. She represented her country in the best way one could and more importantly gave us a reason to visit Srilanka again. Lots of love & kindness, Kamlesh & Gaurav

Jagath is one of a kind. He was such a welcoming host and always had a good balance between being helpful and supportive without intruding your own space and plans. If you are interested he can explain a many things about this part of Sri Lanka. He has huge knowledge about history, traditions, food, plants and also current issues. Also the whole estate reflects his interests with a beautiful garden, historic artefacts and an excellent cuisine, we are still missing. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

I couldn't stay due to a medical accident just a few days before coming to Maulie's place. I was in a bad status and in pain. I communicated to Maulie about the situation. I also understand I am not allowed to refund because it was one day before checking in. Maulie, on the other hand was focusing on how to help me, hospital or advice, and without me even asking, Maulie refunded me part of the fee too when she did not have to at all! I didn't buy travel insurance this time and I was really grateful for everything this lady has done for me. I couldn't tell about the place since I didn't get to stay there but I can say she is a wonderful person!

Endroit paisible, chambre propre, bon petit déjeuner inclus et avec un léger surplus on peut prendre un autre repas. Près de tout en marchant qq minutes. Je vous recommande cet endroit, bon rapport qualité/ prix. Les hôtes sont vraiment gentils ainsi que le beau chien Labrador Léo🐾 Flexible pour l’arrivée, très apprécié surtout après un long voyage! We absolutely loved our stay at Amith’s place - it’s in a great location close to Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rock, but still in a calm and quiet area. Everything was clean and the pool was lovely to cool down in after a hot climb. Amith is a fantastic host, and prepared us a wonderful breakfast. Cannot recommend this place enough! 10/10
