The house is very nice and spacious, perfect for larger groups. We were there with 5 adults and 4 children. It is all beautifully distributed in huge living rooms, which offers a wonderful view of the (snow)landscape with the glass bay window. On the lower floor, everything is super modern. In the kitchen is really everything you need from raclette to fondue to different pans and pots. A base of spices... Really everything there. In the upper bag are the bedrooms and two bathrooms. About half of the bedrooms have super comfortable box spring beds. The other bedrooms have simple wooden beds. Of course, Sauna is great. The landlady Ms. Vogelbacher is really exceptionally friendly and easily accessible. Both before and after the stay it was always possible to talk to her on short notice and she always answered all questions. Thank you! We will be happy to come back :-)

We, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, loved it. The apartment was clean, lovingly decorated, and there was nothing missing. The restaurant had great burgers and steaks. Luckily, the sun was shining and we could enjoy the birdsong on the roof terrace. It was all about a successful stay.

I stayed at Paula's apartment with my best friend on the weekend. We were already positively surprised when entering the apartment because it completely matched the photos. Paula decorated the apartment with attention to detail, you felt right at home as if you were in your own home. The apartment is super central, everything within walking distance. Despite only two nights, we were able to disconnect from everyday life. The apartment has everything you need. Only the entrance to bed is a bit difficult for the person who sleeps at the window, then it is best to roll over the bed. Otherwise perfect weekend in the perfect apartment! Thanks Paula, we will definitely be back.

There were four of us with two nights in the apartment. For a family with two kids we found the apartment perfect. It is tastefully decorated, and we found everything very nice and clean. Especially the comfortable beds are to be emphasized positively. In our experience, this is rather rare in vacation rentals. Beautiful view, quiet location. Every now and then you can hear something from the apartment above, but the house is not very clairaudient. Communication with the hosts was very friendly and straightforward. The flexible check-in with key box is great! If we are in the area again, we will be happy to book the apartment again.

For our short hiking vacation with our daughter, it was just great. Everything stylishly decorated and very clean. Practical and cozy, beautiful, overlooking the garden as seen in the photos. It was great that you could start hiking right from the house and that there was a ping-pong table near the house. Table tennis rackets and others such as games and books were also provided. We definitely recommend this place and would be happy to come back!

There were three of us plus our dog. The apartment was clean and tidy. We felt very comfortable here. The highlight for us was the wonderful view of the national park. The area is perfect for hiking. The hikes can be started directly from the house. The national park starts right around the corner. Richard is a very nice and helpful host. We can definitely recommend Richard's place. I'm sure we'll be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was very friendly and communicative, which made check-in and check-out super easy. The location was convenient and quiet. The apartment had most of the essentials, though we did notice there was no iron available. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but could be helpful for future guests.

The apartment was very nice, albeit a little old-fashioned. However, this was positive, as it suited the castle's backdrop perfectly. Everything was very clean and there were all the necessary household appliances. Communication was impeccable and the lady was very kind. The location was very quiet and all common errands could be reached very well. There was a lot to do in the area and the cleanness of the apartment should also be emphasized. Perfect and happy to come back :) Thank you for this great stay.

"La perle rare" indeed!! A beautiful, very tastefully furnished apartment with everything a person needs (and more)! I immediately felt at home. Everything is super clean and pragmatic, "spotless" so to speak and warm. You can breathe, work and sleep wonderfully here. The location is quiet but not lonely and the proximity of an industrial area with shops of all kinds is valuable. For someone like me who doesn't like to cook, it was a plus that there is a great pizzeria within a 5-minute walk, where I became a regular guest. Joachim is a very enjoyable and responsive host who cares about the well-being of his guests. I will definitely be back soon and look forward to it. Cornelia

The house is perfectly located - away from the hustle bustle of the city and close to nature. The views from the house are splendid and the proximity to the lake is cherry on the top! Manfred is a great host, was available to communicate when we needed him. The house was clean and cozy and we felt absolutely at home here. The house - in a nice vintage style - is in a beautiful area, near Winterberg. With a fifteen-minute drive you are at the slopes, where you can easily park. There are several restaurants on the same street as the house, but it is otherwise nice and quiet. Due to circumstances, we were there a day shorter and less than planned with one family member; we would also have liked to visit the suspension bridge nearby and skied for an extra day. Hopefully we can get back to the resit soon. Host Daan is fantastic; nice, fast communication and super helpful. Thank you!

It was lovely to start the day with a short walk in the woods directly behind the accommodation. There's a bakery 4 min away by car, and grocery stores around a 10 min drive. We had a Wonderful week at Gabi’s place! The community was very quiet. Absolutely loved sitting on the deck, watching the river traffic go by. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. Also some coffee to start with, spices, oil, etc. Also really appreciated the aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and some small bags. There was even 2 nice trays to carry food and beverages out to the deck. There were several large grocery stores within 10 minute drive, REWE, Lidl, Edeka, and Norma. Would Love to return!!

A perfect stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The place was just fantastic – clean, cozy and equipped with everything you might need. Especially the sauna was a real highlight and provided pure relaxation! The surroundings were wonderfully quiet, perfect for unplugging, and there were plenty of great getaways nearby. Oli was always available and super helpful. You can tell how much effort and love this place is running. All in all a great stay – I'd love to come back!
