I – Janine, a trained hotel manager – am particularly interested in bringing people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

If you just want to get away from it all or plan active holidays with hikes / bike rides in Siegerland and Rothaarsteig, you are in the right place. The holiday apartment is located directly in the forest and with hiking trails, lakes and rivers a lot of variety is offered. Restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets can be reached in 3 minutes. It is a 12-minute drive to the highway and the center of the university city of Siegen.

Within walking distance: gas stations, discount stores, restaurants and the historic Siegen Old Town. Free parking is available in side streets

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

In the garden there is a spacious garden house, which we also make available to our guests by arrangement.

The over 700 year old castle Haus Bamenohl is hidden behind old trees in the middle of an idyllic park in the heart of the Sauerland hills. As guest of the Vicounts of Plettenberg, who have been living here since 1433, you can relax for some quiet days alone, spend a romantic weekend for two at the fireplace or take a family outing. In our laundry room on the 2nd floor you will find everything else, such as the washing machine with dryer function, iron, ironing board, or the washing tower.
