Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Sidney

Great short term rental for us. Gave us the driveway to park, well appointed suite with all the necessities, bed was top shelf, very comfy-slept in both mornings! Ill stay here again if available.

Beautiful Getaway! Our family of 5 (2 adults, 5-year-old, 1-year-old, small dog) spent American Thanksgiving week at Carley's place on Pender Island and had an amazing and relaxing week of family time. The house is even more unique (in the best possible way) than the pictures show, the views are amazing, and the kids spent days just exploring the space. We hiked each day, explored the island, and enjoyed the sunsets and fireplace. The hosts are communicative, and the place has all the amenities you could need. 10/10 would recommend and hope to come back again!

Our stay at Gavin’s place was perfect. We had plenty of room for our group. The house was comfortable, well appointed, comfortable beds and had everything we needed and more. Gavin was super responsive to all my questions, he is a great host. Thank you Gavin! Highly recommend this home when staying in Shawnigan Lake. Lots to do, and we had fun adventuring around. This is an AMAZING place for a couple’s retreat! We felt so welcome and right at home during our stay! Louis and Tasha are wonderful hosts and they’ve put a lot of thought and care into creating a wonderful experience for their guests

It’s a beautiful place with an incredible view . Paul is straightforward and proactive. It’s a good price compared to Poet’s Cover and right next to the ferry terminal. If you come here I hope the following tips help so you can prepare accordingly: 1. There are some flies and ants inside the cabin. 2. There are absolutely no food items here so bring it ALL down to salt and pepper to coffee to cooking oil to shampoo 3. It’s a tight layout I would say it could fit 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children comfortably. 4. The pool is seasonal- it’s not open all year round 5. The hot water tank is on its way out or it’s small. It didn’t bother us as it was just my husband and I . It would be an issue for those more than 2 who want to take a bath or shower back to back.

Beautiful home the house was stocked with all the basics in kitchen and bathroom-nice outdoor space. Host was super responsive to my technology challenged brain. It was peaceful and loved the pool, pool table and games great family fun! A+

We had an amazing stay at Gramma Rikki’s beautiful home! It was perfect for our group of two families (4 adults + 3 young kids). The house was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—from a well-equipped kitchen and cozy bedrooms to toys, books, and kid-friendly touches throughout. The huge yard, hot tub, and fresh-water pond were big hits, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax. Gramma Rikki was incredibly warm and welcoming - an outstanding host. We’d absolutely come back again!

The Treehouse Cabin was an excellent space for our group of ten!! Patrycja and Adrian were fabulous hosts. Accommodating to our few requests and quick to reply to any questions we had. The property is a bit of a ride from downtown Victoria, but by being so it allows some peace and privacy from the crowds and traffic. There was so much we could do without even having to leave the property. Air hockey, pool, hot tub, and darts, just to name a few! The home was well stocked with serveware, basic kitchen items, cleaning supplies, some bathroom supplies, and more. If I could do it again, the only thing I would change is planning trips into downtown Victoria a bit better to reduce driving and maybe allowing some more time to enjoy what the home offers!

Budd's place was even better than I expected and I can't wait to return. My friends were also blown away by how stunning it was. It had everything you could possibly need and was such a great escape from the city. Highly recommend!

Super convenient and comfortable. Enjoyed gas fireplace, pool table and comfortable beds. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

The street was very quiet. I think there was only one or two other cabins that were being used that week, which means we had a very peaceful stay. We locked out it was also very sunny the entire week. The place was amazing with big windows, it was clean, bright and beautiful. Thank you very much Cheryl. We had a wonderful stay. A very homey place, makes you feel like you're actually coming back home rather than to a hotel room. The place is very spacious and comfortable and is a full downstairs suite unlike some much smaller rentals. The kitchen is well supplied including things like cooking oil and spices which adds to the homey feeling. A highlight is the strong shower and king sized bed which are really nice after a long day at work. Darcy is very friendly and thoughtful, she's a host that cares about the ppl staying with her!

It's a lovely cottage that provides everything you need. Especially the spa area is just breathtaking. It's located in a quite, lovely area and a good spot to discover the whole Cowichan Valley from Victoria up to Nanaimo and Lake Cowichan (highly recommended for hikes and don't miss the elks at Youbou :), although it's recommended to have a car to explore the area. All in all fully recommendable. Thanks Matt for having us.

Very spacious and comfortable! nice outside area with lovely birds singing. Easily accessible and lots of amenities. I would stay here again :)

Lovely suite and conveniently located. We had freshly roasted coffee beans waiting for us. The bed was really comfortable and we had a wonderful sunset view from our bedroom.

Wendy's place was so quiet and peaceful, we absolutely loved staying here! We had everything we needed and the space was really well set up. It was a perfect spot to stay! Wendy's property is wonderful and we enjoyed getting to see her friendly dog, the horse and goats! Wendy was really helpful with great local recommendations, there's much more for us to come back and do on a future trip!

A beautiful home with everything you will need for family. It is very spacious and quiet, central to downtown Victoria, Saanich and Island Hwy. Deck was a nice place to sit and relax and cook on the bbq. Master bath has a nice soaker. Family loved our stay. Shelley is a great hostess.

This adorable cottage on Shawnigan Lake is one of our favourite stays ever. Impeccably appointed with spotless comfort. A real gem in the middle of a beautiful lake community. A must stay for anyone. We will be back for sure! Thanks Amanda.

This won’t be surprising because it’s been said in every review. This place is amazing. To have an acre and a half of private, oceanfront property is rare. We loved everything. Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine listening to the waves come in was sublime. Corinne is for sure the quickest, friendliest, most generous host I’ve encountered through Airbnb. Bathrooms had great water pressure. When we had a little downtime, the TV was big and fantastic. The hikes around the area are just top notch. What people haven’t mentioned though is Corinne doesn’t have a lengthy ‘clean to do list’ for when you leave. I also think people are walking away from Airbnb’s due to price gouging. This place is crazy reasonable and I will come again! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!
