Good place to stay. Affordable, clean and comfortable

Hi, spend my short staycation with friends. We did not have any complain about it. All the thing that We need is complete. It is convenience for us as there is a huge supermarket. And the most important, the owner is friendly.

I loved my stay at R&R Haven. Sadly Ren was away, but Roger was a great host and I learned more about Borneo in my two days here than on the whole of the rest of my trip, and much about the very interesting life he has led. He kindly gave me a tour of the garden, where he and Ren grow an array of edible plants, and I got to sample some of these for dinner in a delicious jackfruit curry (with jackfruit, long beans and pandan leaves from the garden). I was a bit worried about the lack of aircon, but the temperature was fine with the ceiling fan. I don’t understand the review complaining about the road noise - yes you can hear the road, but there is very little traffic, especially at night. It’s the quietest place I stayed in Malaysia. It’s not a 5* hotel, it’s an authentic experience in a beautiful part of Borneo, which in my opinion is much better.

To be honest, it was not our first choice in the beginning because we planned the trip too late but Ivan's place surprised us. Much pleasantly. It has all features we hope for a family trip. Peaceful environment. Easy accessibility to eateries and places of interest. Clean apartment and friendly host.
