Perfect location. Modern cottage. block off Main St. Cozy for 2, gas burning fireplace & AC. Well-equipped, open floor plan, lvg room/galley ktch/dining/ full bath WD down. Upstairs, queen bdr. and 1/2 bath. Private outdoor deck. Outdoor shower too! Beach chairs & towels, tote, cooler, umbrella, hair blower, iron. We care about the details like ironed sheets, good pillows, new mattress, & fluffy towels.! We don't provide parking & discourage bringing a car. Parking at a premium in season.

River Run was exactly what we were looking for. Great location, super clean, quiet, fabulous setting on the river. Honestly didn't need to leave the house. My only suggestion would be light block curtains for the master bedroom. As a late sleeper it was a little startling at sunrise. Next time I'll bring a sleep mask. We will 100% be back!

3-min walk to BEACH! Private luxury Backyard!

This was a great place to stay. The house was just the right size for our family of 4 (two young kids). The fenced in yard with shade structure and yard games were great. We spent a lot of time playing outside. We initially got the place because of the proximity to the beach, and it is a nice short walk to the beach, but ultimately this beach wasn’t quite the right fit for our kids (ages 3 and 1) so we ended up going to a beach on the north side of the Cape instead, which was a better fit. We were really grateful for the chairs and beach toys, which we used when we went to the beach. The beach umbrella wasn’t in great shape, and with a little breeze it wasn’t usable. Also there were a couple shelves in the house that were either broken (medicine cabinet in bathroom) or missing a pin and so unusable (in the kitchen) but these were minor issues and didn’t affect the quality of our stay. All in all, we had a good time!

A wonderful spot filled with Machpee and Cape cod decor. The location was excellent given we travelled up and down the Cape and needed a spot that was centrally located. The house is well appointed and has everything you need ! It looks exactly like the photos. And the neighbourhood is very nice too.

I did not choose this listing, my original booking was cancelled the day before our arrival due to some water leakage following a storm. I was offered two choices as a replacement and this one was in a location I preferred. The house is large and had enough bedrooms for our group, which was key. It is an old house, very like a large cottage. I cooked in the kitchen and the only thing I remember missing was an ice cube tray for my friends’ cocktails. The floors are a little sloped and there are things that need updating but my husband and I buy character homes and renovate them so we look at trim and windows and doors with an eye to fixing them! The house was absolutely fine and we really enjoyed the outdoor shower, the firepit and the comfy couches. Clean area rugs as well. The most important details such as lots of hot water, lots of clean towels, clean sheets are there. That’s what matters. I appreciated the prompt and frequent communications when my original booking fell through.

Fantastic home that clearly is actually enjoyed by the owners (so no weird surprises like you find in places that only exist as rentals). Well designed space that’s very comfortable to exist in. About a mile to the nearest ocean beach so we ended up driving more than walking but there’s plenty to do with a car.

Looooved the place! My family and I fell in love with the place. Amenities were aplenty and there were plenty of games/activities to play/do in the house. Everything was as pictured/described and the place was spacious and cozy at the same time. We ran low on an item and Marianna took care of it asap. Her response time was extremely quick; always at the ready. We couldn’t get enough of the place and were sad to leave. In a word: perfection!! Thank you so much for the best stay we’ve had in a long time!
