Vacation rentals with a kayak in Shuswap Lake

Margot's place was beautiful inside and out with great views of the surrounding area. Great location with easy access to the water and local area. Inside the house is very modern a bright, while the outside was roomy and comfortable with lots of different spaces to enjoy. Would love to get back sometime in the future.

We stayed at this awesome lakeside home for a golf trip in the Kamloops area over the May long wknd (8 guys in total). It was more than accommodative for our group, with an ample amount of beds (10 separate beds in total). It was still quite cold in May to enjoy the full benefit of this lakeside location but we loved jumping off the private dock for a quick cold plunge in the mornings. This is a great blend of cozy cabin vibes with a wood-burning fireplace + bbq on the upper level and a recreation centre on the lower level. There were all sorts of fun games/activities to enjoy including billiards, ping pong, cornhole, cribbage, and a wide assortment of other board games. This really kept our evenings rolling after our golf rounds every day which was important as this location, while serene and scenic, is about a half hour drive removed from downtown Kamloops area and cab service is limited. Evenings in here were a lot of fun. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

This is a fantastic place to stay. Extremely clean. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen was adequately stocked. The backyard and deck were immaculate, and we especially enjoyed the hottub. We would recommend this place to anyone, and would most definitely book again. Thank you for hosting us. The only comment I would make that our booking said checkout was 11am, we made plans around that, but when we arrived the paperwork said checkout was 10am. When I contacted our host, they did allow us 10:30am but I do think it should be the same on all correspondence. Again, thank you - it is a wonderful place to stay. Great neighborhood.

We had a wonderful time visiting the Shuswaps and Davids home was a perfect base for us with a baby and 3 crazy little dogs. We will absolutely be back to stay here! David is the most lovely host and we are so appreciative of him for helping us to have the greatest vacation!

We had the most incredible weekend! We came into town for a ladies golf tournament and this was the perfect place to rest and recover at night! The hot tub by the pool was a great bonus, and the patio furniture was super comfortable and has the most amazing view! They left us the sweetest welcome basket, and the condo was fully stocked with everything we could have needed for the weekend including sunscreen, hats, yeti cups to use, and more! The additional mini fridge for drinks was a very nice touch as well! Will definitely be staying here again if we come back!!

Great rustic cabin with lots of water toys to use or rent. Easy access to all lake amenities. Lots of appeal for families, but fine for the two of us.

Dawson and his family/staff exceeded all expectations. We couldn't of asked for a better vacation. We had the absolute best time and had so much to keep 3 kids entertained. We look forward to coming back next year.

This place is 10/10. Everything you need in a beautiful vacation property to share with family and friends. This place is so kid friendly, lots of kids plates and cups, even a high chair. The views are mesmerizing, and the lake is crystal clear. Be sure to check out Finns if you bring your boat. Neighbour's are very friendly and we felt right at home. Would stay here again many more times! Jad was such a responsive host, he gave us many recommendations and always assisted us with anything during our stay. If you are looking for a place on the shushwap, definitely don't hesitate and book this up! Thanks Jad for the best summer week!

Our family loved our stay here! Though we weren’t able to stay long, it was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. With the beach out front and various activities on the beach and within the resort, this place was perfect for us and our kids. Dawson and his father were also extremely friendly, kind, and helpful upon arrival and with any questions we had. Thank you!!

This was probably the highlight of our trip. The unit itself was relatively typical to what you would expect in a little lakeside community but the grounds and amenities offered were absolutely, without a doubt 100 % over and above our expectations. We spent a week from Calgary to the island and back, and the 18ish hours we spent at Dawson's would likely take the cake for our favourite part of the trip. There is something to be said about family time on a private beach with a beautiful view. There were plenty of water toys, rafts, and floats available to use. And then there was the sand pit, swing, volleyball net, and more and more and more. I wasn't even loaded up yet and three of the four of us were already messaging others to plan trips to return (the fourth is 5, so he has just asked every day since returning when we will go back to "live at the lake house", haha). I was a little more pricey than our budget would have liked, but it was absolutely worth it !!!

This place was truly one of the best! So beautiful and peaceful. It’s exactly as it shows and we all can’t wait to make this place a regular vacation spot.

The house was beautiful. Amazing deck for relaxing and the dock was perfect for our boats. The outdoor firepit was also a highlight. The house and property were very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Brittany was easy to communicate with and answered all questions. It was a great trip and would recommend it to anyone looking to relax in a beautiful house lakeside.

It was my third time at White Lake Cabins and as always I'm leaving with the intention of coming back soon. It's a wonderfully peaceful place, close to nature with a beautiful lake. Visiting White Lake Cabins is a great way to unwind, rest and re-center. I highly recommend it!

Danielle's place was beyond our expectations! Beautiful view from the large deck, especially with coffee in the mornings and glass of wine during sunset. Close to the beach/lake and we had so much time with kayaks! My teen daughters also enjoyed night swims, the water was warm. The property itself was super clean, beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed! Danielle was VERY friendly and quick to respond! We had no trouble at all with check-in, and no issues during our stay. We hope to be back early next summer!

Had a wonderful vacation in July 2024 at Robs Cabin on the Shuswap. We found the location wonderful and peaceful. Locals were very friendly. Rob gave us great instructions so we were prepared for the remote location and brought everything we needed. Sicamous was just a 10 minute boat ride. Cabin was very clean and well stocked with basics and plenty of space for our family of 7. Our boat was easily moored on the buoy provided. Would definitely stay again.

Definitely an unplugged weekend that we needed! A gorgeous lake with amazing fishing and swim able waters. No Internet or reception so definitely be aware of that. Very relaxing with having fires outside and watching movies and playing board games. Will definitely be booking again for the four person cabin to go with another couple.
