Lake house vacation rentals in Shuswap

Dean and Megan's place was a great place to stay! Great view of the lake and good access to the dock to launch our paddle boards. The place was very clean and organized, and the bed was comfortable. There were a few discrepancies between the listing and the print out at the location but nothing that made it a deal breaker. (listing said available fishing rods - however, the shed was locked) Although a bit more expensive than others, if we were to visit the area again, we would definitely look at this place again!

I’m hesitant to give a 5 star review, only because we would love to keep this cabin hidden for ourselves every winter. We were on an annual snowmobile trip. We ride Park and Nelson all the time. It was great not having to drive home every night to the kelowna area. We rode our sleds right from the driveway. The trail fee guy was a few hundred feet up the road. Cabin was exactly what you should expect. Clean, neat and the owners were incredibly accommodating. We would park our sleds, hop in the hot tub and relax with beers and cook great dinners overlooking the lake. What else can you ask for.

Absolutely perfect vacation. From the house, to the beach, to the seating areas, to the views from every single window, you will not be disappointed. The location was perfect, incredibly quiet and secluded, even with neighbours, it felt like an island. Host was quick to respond and help when we had questions. House was well stocked, they thought of everything. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!!!

Had a great vacation! Beautiful spot and easy access down to the lake. Plenty of parking on the driveway for 2 cars and a boat trailer. Week flew by while we were out there, house had everything we needed! Spent majority of time outside on the back deck / patio or down on the dock!

Kelsey’s place is a gem. Located right by the water on the bay you’re able to walk a short distance to Fins where you’ll find good coffee. You’ll be treated to fantastic views across the bay and will have a thoroughly relaxing evening watching the geese from the beach. The property has been equipped to a very high standard making our stay very comfortable Recommended for anyone wanting to unwind and relax

One of the best Airbnb stays I've experienced. The only thing better than the home was the host. Danica was responsive, attentive and a pleasure to deal with. We stayed at the home for my Mother's 70th birthday and Danica went out of her way, offering to help stage a surprise with balloons and flowers. A gesture I won't forget. Mom loved it. The home itself, beautiful. Spacious, rustic yet contemporary decor, high quality furnishings and small thoughtful touches that add to the stay as time goes on. The theatre, balcony, dock and view make the home one of a kind. The most difficult part of the whole stay was leaving. From my entire family and I, thank you Danica.

The staff I had staying there had requested to go back because they enjoyed the first visit so much. Destiny was a great host and everything fit my staffs needs completely. If I have the chance to book again, I will!

Jan was very responsive to any questions or requests that we made. The place was comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay nice. The property is quite large and very peaceful which made it easy to find a spot to just enjoy the surroundings in peace. The large deck was also a nice feature as it offered lots of seating and space to spread out and enjoy the sun. The check-in/check-out process was very simple and the instructions were easy to follow. We would definitely rebook at Jan's place if we were to vacation in the area again.

Bailey was a great hostess. She made sure we had everything needed for our stay. The house is so cozy and a short walk to the lake. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back again.

Beautiful little loft in a beautiful location! Clean, cosy and super peaceful. Ammenities are great, hot tub is a plus and just felt right at home. A great getaway. Would love to come back again!

Kim was our contact person. she was very responsive and helpful. The house was neat and clean. the sourrounding area is large for an outdoor relaxation, with no noise what so ever. the rooms were clean and they have all amenities. they have a good collection of games to pass time. Definitely recommended.

This Airbnb was fabulous, it was clean and homey, and had everything we needed for our week stay. There was plenty of room for our family of 10. We enjoyed the shaded deck and yard. The location was fantastic with a short walk to the beach and activities in Scotch Creek.

Easy check in, cabin is beautiful! Cabin matches photos and is near the water (short few min walk). Kitchen was unbelievably well stocked. Haven't seen a kitchen like that, you could cook anything! Clean inside and out along with a spacious feel but cozy due to the design. The cabin stayed cool even on hot days inside, loved it! We brought a canoe with us and enjoyed the water. 6 of us stayed and had plenty of room. Hosts were excellent & responsive. Thanks for having us Robyn And Dan!

Margot's place was beautiful inside and out with great views of the surrounding area. Great location with easy access to the water and local area. Inside the house is very modern a bright, while the outside was roomy and comfortable with lots of different spaces to enjoy. Would love to get back sometime in the future.

Such an amazing stay!! The location, the set-up and the amenities provided blew our minds! We had everything we needed in the kitchen, in the bedrooms and in the yard. You can tell the owners really know what people want and need when staying at a AirBNB. They provided all the info we needed for food, beaches & more. It was easy to find and such a blessing for our families to come together in a space that we really didn’t have to think about. It was an easy transport to the beach a couple times per day…and they are not lying about 600 steps. The spaces inside were beautifully decorated as well as highly functional. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with appliances and items. The yard was amazing and made it easy for the kids to be entertained. We couldn’t think of a single thing that was missed by the owners. Even the couple random bugs and spiders we knew about and expected as part of being out at the lake. We had three families come together and there was enough space for all. It was great with the younger kids as they could sleep while the adults had spaces to retreat to after bedtime. We plan to book every summer!!

We really loved our stay here! There was a lot more space than we expected, which was a great surprise. The decor was lovely, the place was really cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked, the spice selection was amazing! It was nice having the large table for everyone to eat around and the kids to play board games and colour. The only thing I’d mention is that the listing could be a bit more detailed. It would have been helpful to know things like the layout of the bedrooms, the different floor levels, that there are steep stairs to access some of the rooms, and that a few parts like the desk/stairs are still unfinished and could be a safety concern. None of this ruined our stay at all, just things that would have been nice to know in advance. Overall, a great spot and we really enjoyed it!

Kerri's place was very comfortable, clean and more than adequate space. We appreciated the extras like water in the fridge, coffee available, beach towels and sandals. She thought of everything and so accommodating to special requests. This was my first Air B&B and I will definitely use it again. My whole family shares my sentiments. Thank you Kerri!

I recently stayed at Ivy’s Place with a few mates to celebrate my 50th birthday and do some cross-country skiing at Larch Hills, and it was absolutely brilliant. This charming heritage home, over 100 years old, is full of character and has tons of space, making it perfect for a group getaway. The kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped, which made cooking meals together a pleasure. The house itself is warm, inviting, and beautifully maintained, with plenty of room to relax after a day out on the trails. The location is fantastic – set in Canoe, BC, it’s close to the lake and an easy drive to Larch Hills, making it ideal for both winter and summer adventures. The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought into making guests feel at home, and it really shows. If you’re looking for a spacious, character-filled retreat in a great location, I’d highly recommend Ivy’s Place. Would love to return!

We had a wonderful stay! Pam and Glenn were lovely, had a couple tiny issues but they were dealt with quickly. Pam was always quick to respond, that was greatly appreciated! The home was perfect we loved it! Great view, great pool and great beach! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

The house that we stayed in had lots of amenities, lots of pots, pans, dishes, knives, forks. House was very clean when we arrived. All of the fridge stove microwave Was very modern, and up-to-date, barbecue was great, nice, and big lots of burners, and it also had a fire table that made it comfortable to sit outside in the evenings. It was everything the host said that it would be. Thank you had a great time.
