Shepherds hut vacation rentals in Shropshire

Teresa kept us informed from the moment we booked. Giving clear directions and instructions for check in. We arrived just after check in had opened and the hot tub was ready to use. There was a lovely welcome basket left inside for us. Little Acres what a gem it was very clean and tidy inside and out. There was a guest book with useful numbers and instructions for all the appliances and hot tub. The views were amazing and the area peaceful. The hot tub was welcomed after a day walking mount snowdon. A nice green area in front of the shepherds hut was kept tidy with a hammock on it. We walked through the gardens to see the animals although most were still out in the fields. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break.

Loved the location and the shepherds hut was perfect! Great for a night or two in an idyllic setting with stunning views, great walk and the perfect perch pub within a few mins walk away. The log fire burner was a bonus providing a warm cosy atmosphere. I loved the sound of the birds singing as well.

Location was stunning, the host was lovely and it has beautiful walks on the doorstep. Hot tub definitely worth the extra money as elevates the stay to another level. The dog thoroughly enjoyed his stay as well!

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

If you are looking for someone to escape to with the peace and tranquility of the countrywide with just a sprinkling of natural farm noise - this is the place to be. We had a really relaxing few days here and Rosalind was very helpful and in hand if you need anything. We always had a friendly greeting from the 3 dogs who would be delighted with a belly scratch. Loved it here.

Lovely place to spend a few days in peace in quiet. The hot tub was amazing and the hosts are very friendly. The hut is in close proximity to the Wye Valley, which is a great place to explore.

We had such a lovely, relaxing time during our stay! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly what we needed to unwind. Everything was thoughtfully set up and made us feel right at home. Communication with Jon was easy and smooth from start to finish. We would definitely love to come back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

My partner, our dog and I had a wonderful 3 nights at Graham and Pip's Shephard huts. The views were spectacular and exactly what we were expecting from the listing! The bedroom was extremely cosy, especially when we had the log burner going and we were sat reading our books drinking tea. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a delicious loaf of homemade bread, and the bathroom was super clean; the shower was a real warm treat after a day of walking in the rain! There are some lovely walks accessible from the huts, if you don't want to travel too far out. Also, I promise that if you weren't a fan of bird watching (or listening) before, you definitely will be after your stay! Thank you Pip and Graham for providing us with the perfect retreat to nature we both strongly craved to escape the stressful 9-5 working life. We would 100% recommend to anyone wanting to switch off from their phones, and connect a bit more with the nature around us.

I don’t have enough words to describe how beautiful this hut is! It’s a great place to stay for hiking around the Brecon Beacons area. Most places are a short journey away. At night it’s nice to sit around the fire, with barely any noise except the occasional baaaa from the sheep which was very welcoming. If you catch a clear night the stargazing is phenomenal. Waken up in this hut is breathtaking, the views are out of this world especially if your used to the town life!! The host was amazing, very informative, supplied eggs & bread for breakfast. We couldn’t believe our eyes seeing a fresh unstamped egg (proper in city people I know) they were delicious! I could write an essay about how amazing this place is but I’m running out of characters! I will be back & 100% will be recommending to my friends and family! See you soon, thanks again!! X

What an amazing stay we had! We ask for a little getaway with our cats and they enjoyed the peace and quiet too! Got everything we ask for! James and Becky were so helpful and responsive with our needs! Thanks again we would gladly come back

Stayed with my boyfriend, celebrating our anniversary and the place was beautiful. So private and peaceful. The hut was perfectly clean and cosy throughout and enjoyed a drive into Hereford centre which only took around 10 minutes. Hot tub was a dream and warmed up really fast. Was very kind of Verity to preheat for our arrival! Paid extra for anniversary banner and balloons that set the mood straight away. Thanks for a lovely stay ☺️

Great stay at Peggy's Hut! Spotlessly clean shepherd's hut and very cosy. Filled with everything we needed and very confirtable bed! Great idea with Honesty Shed. Beautiful surroundings. Great communication with Rachel. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely, long weekend at The Hut on the Hill - it’s a lovely little space, with brilliant views (from the hut and the hot tub!). It was a very short and convenient drive to many sites for woodland walks in the Forest of Dean, which we and the dogs thoroughly enjoyed. The grounds around the hut are also secure, so it was great for them to be able to have some space to relax. Mandy and David are proactive hosts who were happy to leave us to our own devices but also drop us a message to check all was well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away in the cotswolds, peaceful and beautiful surroundings and such a gorgeous hut. Alice was also super responsive and thoughtful, and lit the hot tub ahead of our arrival. We loved staying here!

Had the most amazing couple of days in a beautiful shepherds hut. The property was clean and ready for us when we arrived, and even had a complimentary hamper upon arrival too. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely blown away by how beautiful the nest was! So clean and comfortable, could not fault it. Lucy and Dan were always on hand and made sure we had everything we needed. Surroundings were amazing and would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

We enjoyed a restful and restorative weekend at the Meadow View Shepherd's Hut. The aspect of the hut is absolutely stunning, looking out over views of the Shropshire hills. The space feels incredibly private and has so many thoughtful touches, including BBQ and firepit equipment. David was really friendly and provided helpful instructions on finding the property as well as local guidance. We'd love to visit again in the near future!

Our two days stay in the Shepard’s hut was everything we wanted and more. The views and privacy were amazing, just as we like it. The best part of all and the main reason to choosing this place was the inclosed/fence that surrounds the entire area we stayed, our two energetic cocker spaniel dogs absolutely loved the freeness to run about at all times. Our week here was absolutely glorious. I would highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay. This is one of the best huts we've ever been to. It was immaculate and the views were outstanding. Watching the sunset here from the hot tub should be on everyone's bucket list. Manon is an excellent host and went out of her way to welcome us. We are already planning our second trip.

We enjoyed a beautiful night stay here after a walk in the Brecon Beacons and a trip to the beach. The hut was perfect for a cosy evening and Alison could not have been more helpful, providing logs for a fire and a welcome hamper on arrival. We loved having Daisy the goat as our neighbour and spent a great evening by the fire watching the lambs. We will definitely be back!

Really nice stay here. Some of the amenities were missing but Laura was very responsive, instantly replied and stocked us up. Really nice to escape the city so would definitely recommend!
