What a perfect spot to stay for my family’s winter vacation! The snow was epic! The local resort, Kokusai is great and Rusutsu and Niseko are also a bit further on to explore. The studio’s central location is walkable to good restaurants and numerous beautiful onsens. It’s clean, warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. Neil was a fantastic source of local knowledge, which was very helpful in the authentic town of Jozankei Onsen. Highly recommend this place!

The best accommodation I've ever stayed in in Japan. If I come again next time, I will definitely book this accommodation. There's an OTT and a switch, so it's fun to play at the accommodation.

We stayed for 2 nights in May with 5 of us. Our host was kind, friendly and responsive. The instructions were clear and timely. And we absolutely loved the place as it was very clean and decorations were beautiful. The place was tucked in the hill and was quiet and peaceful. Beds were so comfortable and we were able to rest well. We rented a car so getting around was easy. Thank you for letting us stay at this lovely home!!

Satomi was an absolutely fantastic host from start to finish. For our first family trip to Japan, staying in her traditional home was a special experience that gave us a wonderful taste of Japanese culture. The house was perfect for us. The sleeping arrangements were very comfortable, and the wide living room on the first floor was the perfect place for our kids to play. The location was also incredibly convenient, with train station, market, tour places all just a short walk away. We have to mention the breakfast—it was simply the best. It felt so warm and welcoming, like a true home-cooked meal. What truly impressed us was Satomi's incredible help on our last day. We accidentally left a bag behind, and she quickly found us on our way to Minami-Otaru station to return it. Her quick thinking and kindness were amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better host or a more perfect place to stay in Otaru. We highly recommend her home to anyone.

Such a lovely stay. You can tell a lot of love and pride went into creating this space. We enjoyed using the bikes, riding around Lake Toya. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. FYI--there were 3 adult bikes and 1 child-sized bike. Wish we had stayed a 2nd night.

The apartment may look a little dated in the photos, but it is clean and well maintained, with all the essential amenities we needed. It is also conveniently located, just a short walk from Chitose train station or Chitose eki mae bus stop (directly from the airport), which made getting around very easy. Overall, it offers great value for a comfortable overnight stay.

I had a comfortable stay with warm, kind and polite service. There are also attractive shops nearby, and I thought I would like to visit again.My husband, friends, and dog all liked it and relaxed, and I'm really glad I chose ezora. The owner and the owner's dog were lovely.

I stayed for 5 nights when I temporarily returned home this time. It was also a 10-minute walk from the station, and the bus stop was very convenient because it was just a short walk to the main street. I rented a rental bicycle in the neighborhood of the Otaru Canal for about two days, wandered around Otaru, got fresh seafood and deli food at a private store, cooked in the kitchen, and was able to do laundry, which was helpful.It was nice that the room was sunny, bright during the day, and privacy.Everything was clean, tidy, and had everything we wanted! It was also about a 30-minute bicycle ride to the Otaru Aquarium, so it was very fun to row a bicycle while watching the scenery. I think I will definitely take care of you the next time I come to Otaru♪ Thank you for a wonderful stay in Otaru!

The apartment was very clean and spacious. It had everything we needed for our stay. The host was very helpful and kind, giving us a ride to a from the station. He gave us recommendations for our stay. The location was ideal.

Exactly as described! A comfortable and practical place to stay while visiting Sapporo. It is also a great location - right by a subway stop and easily accessible to all of the tourist attractions. And very close to grocery and convenience stores, and local restaurants. We had a great time! The hosts are very responsive and welcoming. Thank you Hiroyuki and Rei for your great hospitality.

Lovely spot in the mountains. Surrounded by idyllic scenery and about a 3-5 minute walk from Otaru canal if you take the shortcut. Host was super responsive and accomodated our needs. Would visit again.

It's a little difficult to enter when entering,, The one in the center of the entrance is the reset button, and if you don't press the button, turn it 360 degrees in the opposite direction of the clock, enter the password, and turn it 360 degrees clockwise again. There are two buildings, but one has a passcode lock, and there is no one, so you can just look at it and go in. The accommodation was very clean and spacious, so I stayed with 3 people, but I didn't use one of the rooms at all. There's nothing missing from the tableware, but there's this? I liked that there were separate disposable tableware. The hot springs were also really nice. I think I'll come again.

Clean, new, modern, and tucked away right by the action. Loved stopping by the food trucks on my short walk home. Would highly recommend!

The location is great! Easy access to the main street and tourist street, ample parking, Seiko Mart is next door, and a supermarket with a good selection is within walking distance! The bedding and room temperature were also comfortable!

In the room as in the pictures, it felt nice overall, except that the comforter in the living room had a lot of no grease stains left behind was a bit of a hindrance, other things were ok, the fridge had simple flavor. No toothbrush provided, no laundry detergent was a little inconvenient😝

the apartment is very nice, very quiet with an amazing view and close to the shopping street for tourists certainly but very pleasant. The welcome in the building was fine too. we found small restaurants near the canal where we were always extremely well received. we recommend this stop in Otaru.
