Sora is located within the APPI Snow Mountain Resort area, just 2 minutes by car to the slopes and 5 minutes to the golf course. At the same time, you can access the bustling city of Morioka in just 60 minutes by car, making it a very convenient base for sightseeing in the three prefectures of Iwate, Aomori, and Akita in the Northeast. We recommend using a private vehicle to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The APPI Snow Mountain Resort area has shops, restaurants, and convenience stores, and there is also a supermarket about 20 minutes away by car. There are also great hot spring areas such as Matsukawa Onsen, and Hachimantai Ski Resort and Shimokura Ski Resort are also nearby. [About the room] There are 2 Japanese-style rooms and 2 Western-style rooms where you can stay.There are other clean dining kitchens, spacious living spaces with veranda spaces, and two toilets and washrooms. The living space is also perfect for letting children play (with a baby gate). From the rim side, you can see the Akita Shinkansen Komachi running up close. [About access] From Tazawa Station, it is a 5-minute walk/If you come by car, please let us know at the time of booking. It is in a good location, 20 to 30 minutes by car to the surrounding sightseeing spots such as Tatsuko statue, Nyuto Onsen, Tazawako Ski Resort.The bus takes about 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes. The family that has lived in the house for generations has protected it, but it was planned to be demolished because of the financial issues in 2014. In order to preserve the original landscape of the satoyama for the next generation, we revitalize the house as a membership guest house. However, the activities were stopped due to the pandemic. In June 2024 we reopened the house as a private accommodation place (rental vacation house).

First, the hosts were very gracious and welcoming. They made me feel right at home, and took great care of me. As for the place, it's in a very quite and peaceful area. It's very rustic and cozy. And Jin the dog and Maru the cat are very cute and fun to play with. Thank you for hosting me!

For the price I paid, I really enjoyed my stay here, and I absolutely recommen it to anyone who is looking for an overnight place in Hirosaki! Very good location, close to downtown and just 10minute walk away from the park! It was clean, and had a nice cafe at the first floor! 10/10🌟🌟🌟

Kaoru-san and Seiki-san, are two extraordinary and rare souls. They always welcome me with the sense of familiarity and hospitality. The Garden room is situated close to downtown Hachinohe. Many amazing culinary options to explore, and only a half hour walk to Aeon supermarket- Which is open 24 hours a day. The room is always tidy and well maintained. If you wish to explore the moderately travelled path by choosing to visit Hachinohe, please do yourself a favour, and stay with Kaoru-san and Seiki-san. You will not regret it.
