There is a bus stop 200 yards from the property- every 10-15 mins. Close to footpaths and a bridle path - to the local pub. Walking distance to a pub, restaurant and shops (15-20 minutes) 5 minutes drive to a cinema, leisure parks and retail units. This is the perfect accommodation if you are in York to enjoy a night out or explore the local sights and sounds.

The Stables

Since converting our old stables it has been very popular with people visiting York and Harrogate which are both 20 minutes away.We are lucky to have some lovely local pubs/ restaurants in the nearby villages (10mins away) Within half an hour you can be in the Dales or the Yorkshire Moors - walking, visiting a National Trust property, or sampling a local pub or tearoom. The Stables are clean, cosy and comfortable, with modern, light rooms. The views overlook farmland - beautiful in the evenings.

Pear Tree House is an eighteenth century cottage in the centre one of the prettiest villages in North Yorkshire, Sutton-on-the-Forest, (8 miles north of York) in beautiful Hambleton. Our converted milking parlour in the heart of the York plain is a unique one bed, self contained tiny house! With access to York and the surrounding area, it is a perfect place for a weekend away or a longer stay for business, retreat, escape. There is a bus that runs from just outside to York. They do not run at the weekends during winter and never on a Sunday. There is a train station 3 miles away. Parking is available on the road. There is a shop 2 minutes away. No pets or children.

Off the main street in the small historic village of Linton-on-Ouse which lies close to the national trust property of Beningborugh Hall and within 30 mins drive of York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon. The area provides open countryside which is popular with cyclists and walkers. “Fig Tree Cottage” is a recently completed conversion project finished to a high modern standard providing quality accommodation. There are a couple of pubs and the Lock House Pub serves food and takeaways.
